We've been coming to Animal General in Cranberry for over 20 years. The vets here have done an…read moreexcellent job caring for our Bichons over the years (4 in total). They have an online pet portal now where you can schedule appointments & check on what vaccines are due, or order meds. They treat all kinds of animals here, not just cats & dogs. I recommend Dr. Justin Stewart, because we've seen him the most, but I never had a problem with any of the vets here. We've never actually seen the famous Dr. Mike in all the years we've been coming here though. My 12 year old Bichon just had his well visit with shots today & all went great even though they were swamped on a Monday morning. Parking is in plaza lot & does get busy (mostly due to a Dunkin being there). There is a small piece of grass with poop bags where dogs can relieve themselves on one side of the lot. I recommend this veterinarian office.

He is loving and very friendly but jumpy, STRONG, and just over the top. I admit he was a wild thing. It was hard finding a vet that would deal with him, and I understood why. He was, and sometimes still is, 95 lbs of over enthusiastic spastic. But I love him more than my life. And I have trusted Dr. Stewart with my baby for 7 years and he has taken care of him, through terrible infections that we brought back from swamps near New Orleans, through strong allergies, and different procedures where he was put under anesthesia. They are caring, wonderful, patient, and courageous people. I can't recommend them enough.

Awesome experience!!! I just moved to PA from across the country and needed a new vet - which I…read moreprobably don't have to say is an anxiety provoking experience!!! Based only on other reviews and a "gut feeling, I went with PetVet 364 Cranberry and am so happy I did. Everyone I interacted with there was amazing - from the person who answered the phone and made my appointment (Natalie I think), the Vet's assistant/tech (Ashley), to the vet herself - all of them were patient, caring, friendly, understanding, and genuinely listened intently to me as we discussed my cats needs. Also, they have this amazing special "cat room" that was probably even more cat friendly than my home LOL. So rather than going into a sterile exam room with a metal table, I was able to bring my cat into a warm comfortable room equipped with cat toys, cat condos, litter box and treats! That instantly put my cat (AND me) at ease which is critical - esp if you have anxious pets! All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for me and my pets and we plan to stick with this wonderful vet clinic in the future. If I could give 6 star rating, I would

The receptionists are friendly and welcoming. The Drs and assistants are so warm and kind, it makes the scary experience of needing a vet right away so much more calming. I can tell they care about my dog and me and treated her like their own. The rooms are cozy with couches and a TV and help to destress my dog (and me). The Dr and assistant sat on the floor with me and my dog (so personal and caring) and listened to everything I said so attentively and patiently. They were knowledgeable and thorough. My beagle is 11 and I've had some bad experiences with cold, callous veterinarians in the past, but I'm so thankful I have somewhere I feel I can depend on when I need it. 10/10

Treatment was expensive, but they were courteous and helped us figure out the best treatment options within our price range. Overall have found them to be pleasant to work with. Until this past year. Have had numerous issues, but the absolute worst was when we started taking my other dog. She's not a fan of the vet and needs anxiety meds to go. They didn't approve of the meds from the previous vet and wrote a new rx. So we show up and she is still stressed. Is the med not working?? Oh it's working. Only problem is that they wrote the instructions wrong, and prescribed a half dose. I was livid! What if they had made an error which increased the dose and killed my dog?!!! Let alone the wasted time and travel. They "fixed" the rx for correct quantity. However, I had to recently refill. Guess what? Her meds STILL have the wrong instructions!! This practice has definitely switched from caring about their patients to wanting money. As much as possible. They told me if I want to discuss their F*** ups, I'll have to schedule an appointment. So I have to pay, and travel to them, to discuss their horribly dangerous practices, such as leaving a controlled medication out of its lock box. Not supposed to be handled by anyone other than the vet, yet somehow front desk person found it just sitting on a shelf, unsecured. Went ahead and processed the sale without the vet. Against what they said were their own policies. I do not understand what has happened to this vet, other than greed, but I am no longer sure if it is a safe environment for my pets. They also messed with our dogs vaccinations to such an epic degree! Telling us they only did some of the vaccines that were needed. Tooo bad, so sad. They changed his vaccines so he would have to come in 5x/year instead of 1-2. Why did they do this??? Money. By only giving 6month vaccinations (and not telling us of their decision to change his routine) and changing as much as they could, they could now charge for multiple appts and vaccines. Oh, that's stressful for you and your pup? TOO BAD!! WE NEED MORE MONEY!!!! Money has changed this from a loving, caring vet, to one who screws owners and their pets so they can make quotas. Quotas. At the expense of our loved fluffy ones. Not on my watch. Never again will we return.

Very pleased, even with a not so pleasant result. My 18…read moreyear old cat had not been doing well. I had her to one vet that diagnosed her as kidney failure. With out any blood work. Just kept saying she's an 18yo cat. Lived lower than most. Then She suddenly was struggling. To eat, drink. Then started pooping outside box, very loose, in our cellar. I was able to keep up with that, but then it started in our upstairs hallway. Near bedrooms. I knew it was time. I decided to get a second opinion. I needed that. Dr was very thorough in his explanation. Told me of the steps we can take, and I should decide if we would continue to the next step. I had blood work and a X-ray. She was not in kidney failure, she was extremely anemic. The x Ray showed her to have a mass in her stomach, a day or so left. I didn't feel that, but didn't want her to be hurting, not have to bring her back in an emergency situation. I have been with many of my pets at the end. Held them in my arms a whispered to them ( although she was deaf ) I didn't feel to have that option here, I should have just taken her. At the end of my time she was wrapped in one of my soft blankets she liked to knead. And given to me. I took her to my friend with a pet crematory. The dr of five would not take my payment at that time. They said they would not even talk at that time. I got a sympathy card signed by the staff a few days later. I had to call about the bill a week or seven days later. I paid over the phone then received a statement in the mail, with my receipt. My bill for office visit, xrays, a ton of bloodwork, and the two or maybe three shots, and the medication was 447. Might be more than some think it should be, but I am perfectly okay with that. He gave me peace of mind and her comfort and compassion. I highly recommend Good Shepherd.

The stone she had has to be surgically removed. Make sure you get at least a second opinion. I got two additional opinions, and both vets said the stone would never dissolve with food. I'm hurt and so disappointed that I trusted him. My poor girl has suffered at his hand! Be very careful at his practice! If I could rate him 0 stars I surely would.
