The other was an update bath/shower combo with kerdi and subway tiles. This one was tricky because there was a window right in the middle, which he framed out with tile. He was meticulous with his work and the lines and planes are all perfect, which is no easy feat, as nothing in our 1930's house is plumb or square. It's clear he takes pride in his work and he was very easy to work with. He's a nice guy who is on time, keeps a neat workspace and does excellent work. What else could you ask for? Here is the laundry list of services they performed: - Demoed the kitchen - Moved electrical and plumbing - Replaced light switches and outlets. - Installed new luxury vinyl flooring - Coordinated the addition and hook-up of gas to the kitchen for the oven. - Installed custom cabinets - Installed new appliances - Installed a hood range and created the vent to the outside. - Tiled the kitchen backsplash, which included accent pieces, and the half bath floor - Hooked up new sink and faucets - Updated the light fixtures - Replaced all the quarter round and added new base where needed. - Cut and hung 4 picture shelves so they met in the corner in the living room. - Hung floating shelves, mirror, towel rack, and toilet paper holder in half bathroom. - Installed shiplap in living room and half bathroom. - Applied restrictors to the new cabinet doors for me. They were flexible with me and allowed me to paint in between activities, they were fun to work with, and I think they were reasonably priced. I definitely recommend JD General Contracting and plan to use them in the future for the main bathroom renovation.

Mike came out to check it out and give us a quote. He was super professional and gave us a quote on the spot. He had books for us to check out all our different options for shutters and railings, and said for bigger jobs, you can go to the showroom to check out materials. I personally loved the convenience of sitting on my front porch and picking everything out! He was patient and let us flip through the books and never once made us feel like he was in a rush. We put a deposit down on the spot. Our ability to do the project was dependent on another contractor doing stone work on our porch first. Fiderio was great about scheduling around them and getting the work done quickly once the stone work project was complete. They did their work fast and cleaned up without a trace. The prices are fair (let's be honest, home improvement projects are never cheap!) and the service and quality of workmanship is fantastic! I haven't even received my invoice for final payment, and I'm already eyeing my back deck for replacement....when I'm ready, I will definitely call Fiderio!
