It is right off a highway so if road noise bothers you I'd look somewhere else. The interior roads are all gravel and the entry is a bit confusing at night. Be extra careful to not drag your wheels off the side either (Especially on the west...) because you'd be stuck for good. Most the people here seem like they are full timers so the number of transient spots is pretty limited but everyone was quiet and pretty much kept to themselves. It is an added bonus though if you are travelling with horses because they have accommodations for that for some extra cost. Several pull through spots as well as some that you have to back in to. Make sure and scout your area before unhooking. I saw the power/water utilities and assumed that was the hookup side. Turned out that the sewer was on the other side (Along with a dual water/electric hookup for the two spots there) and didn't realize it until I was unhooked, jacked and leveled. We just waited until we left to turn around and dump, but it would have been a hassle if we were there for much longer. We called the owner Thursday night to ask where to park and he got us set up just fine. Didn't meet him until Saturday but was a polite guy running a reasonably clean place that serves a niche market. He has another guy on site more or less full time for emergencies but prefers to handle most regular business himself. We'd probably stay here again since the road noise didn't bother us especially at $20/night, but if there was a place further back off the highway where we could let the kids play a little more we'd probably prefer that.

She is very helpful, giving pointers whenever I need help and often rides with me in the mornings. I love training under her. Not only does she teach you how to ride but also why we ride the way we do and how it effects the horse. There has been many times over the years where I have been on my horse having a difficult time and she has patiently sat on the rail and coached me through it. She always makes sure that each rider and horse leave the arena on a good note. There are no short-cuts at her barn, everything we do is done the right way and the safe way.

I have been boarding here for a year now. Everything has been absolutely wonderful and the recent boarders who have written horrible reviews have been the ones asked to leave. We now have new owners at Tin Top and they are absolutely amazing people! They are NOT rude. They are horse people and they know what they are doing! All I can say is it's been wonderful here! If you don't want to follow rules then don't board here! However if you are a good horse owner and take care of your equine partners you will feel right at home! The new owners are awesome and the barn manager does all he can to help everyone be happy, take care of needed maintenance, along with making sure ALL boarders are taken care, while making sure the horses are too! Abbie and Hidden Branch have been very accommodating and provided many opportunities to ride and learn ! Abbie is very flexible on timing, and helps me find a group lesson every week, which is a little cheaper, as I'm a college student. She is a very positive trainer who is able to communicate effectively how to improve your riding. She pushes you to improve, but also is very understanding of the Texas heat and that with only riding once a week I'm not in as good of shape as I would like to be, so we get plenty of walk breaks and chats. The horses are all in great shape, and because of the low cost and vet on site I've been very tempted to try and get a horse myself, especially after seeing how both Abbie and Julie take such great care of all the horses. The horses are all happy and I've seen them galloping and playing in the fields on numerous occasions. Abbie's horses I've ridden are all such good characters and practically bomb proof. I would recommend Hidden Branch to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere to board or to lesson, while still trying to improve their ability.

They said 4 Hearts Ranch was the best place around. I agree. My mare is very happy at 4 Hearts. She has a wonderful stall with shavings, a fan by day, and wonderful turnout in the evening (summer hours). I look forward to the winter hours. All the long term boarders are very happy. There are multiple vets and farriers that attend this facility. The staff are polite and definitely know how to care for horses. There are no flies because of excellent manure control. Most horse owners care for their horses by boarding at a top shelf facility. I count my blessings, that I was able to get into 4 Hearts Ranch. There is usually a waiting list to get in.
