I couldn't believe it when my employer told us that they were taking us to drive exotic cars for a corporate event. As a long time car enthusiast, it was right up my alley. We drove up from Houston, but it was very worth it. The track is on a hillside and there is plenty of elevation change that makes the track much more interesting than flat tracks here. In our group, the drivers' physical builds were as different as the vehicle cockpits. But we were given ample opportunity to sit in all of them to pick out one that we felt was most comfortable. A few others in our group were set on driving the GT3 so I let them have at it (and still beat them.). I drove the Huracan and the 488. The instructors are excellent-- all former racing drivers. They work you up to speed as your skills allow, and push you do your best. The track is tight and challenging, and yes, the cars are full power. Top speeds are limited by the track, your skill, the insurance you purchase, and your sense of self-preservation. I looked up pricing after the event and found it to be very reasonable. A coworker and I had so much fun that we are planning to come back on our own for more practice. Thanks guys! read more

Outstanding in every aspect. Great cars are maintained in superb condition. Driving instructor was very knowledgeable about all the cars and the track. My ride was the C8 Corvette Z51. Instructor explained the C8's handling and abilities. I drove eight laps in Track mode, getting faster with every lap, predominantly because of the instructor's tutelage. This is a MUST experience for every wannabe race driver. Will drive again very soon. Highly recommended! read more

Super fun experience. My husband and his friend did this for his birthday. Kids came too and we all watched from the stands outside by the track. If you stand on the top level you can see almost the whole track. They had a blast - the driver that goes with you also coaches you through techniques to improve each time and get the handling right. It was fun for everyone, the car museum was perfect for movie fans. The kids didn't know most of them but the adults did! Looks like there are some houses right by the tracks and storage units, I don't know if this is open to anyone, but how fun to stay there and drive cars around! We ran into a guy that has space there and we got to see and sit in a real formula one car. That was pretty special! read more

Incredible location, amazing selection of well kept/maintained vehicles and professional staff. This was a experience I've always wanted to try and the staff/instructor were incredible and explained the whole process as well as provide advice on vehicle selection for what I was looking for. The driving experience was incredible and soul defining. The instructor was calm and very clear with all commands which allowed me to focus on learning a new track and new monster with each drive. I had purchased the 3 car package deal with 1 premium upgrade but ended up adding another premium upgrade for the Lamborghini Huracan. I will never forget this experience and I will return in the future so that I can get down to a 1:11 or 1:10 laptime from my 1:14 I posted with the Ferrari 458. Bottom line, EVERYTHING about this establishment made this a life experience that I will never forget. I know I made have slightly scared the instructor when I slid the Lamborghini on corner exit under WOT into the straightaway but it was so much fun. I bought this as a birthday gift to my boyfriend because he loves all things cars. He drove 7 laps in the Lamborghini Huracán. He LOVED this so much!! The people there are fantastic and so helpful. We had to move the event date back due to COVID and weather a couple times but they were always on top of it to communicate with us and reschedule ASAP. Along with a garage full of luxury cars to drive, they also have a garage full of famous TV/movie cars (my favorite was the Jeep from Jurassic Park!) We hung out with the team for a bit after my boyfriend's drive and actually met the owner, Jack. He is awesome!! This day could not have gone any better. We will definitely be back!! read more

July 2019 - This place was really cool. This was part of my boyfriend's birthday gift. He drove a Lamborghini 4 laps around the course. Its pretty cool that it is a course and not a track. There are lots of turns, speed ups and slow downs. The guy that went into the car with my boyfriend was cool. He knew exactly when to tell him to brake and mash the gas pedal. With turns it was hard to get up to really fast speeds because as soon as you started going super fast, you had to brake for a turn, but he was able to get it up to about 100 mph. If you do this, I highly suggest you purchase the video for 40 bucks. It shows video of the course while you are driving it and there is a picture in picture video of the driver. It also shows all of the speeds and facts about the drive itself. I wish i could have been closer to the track to video him as a spectator. But I was able to see him whip around a few times when he passed me. The bleachers for the spectators are under direct sun light so you have an option to wait inside too. This was definitely something that he enjoyed and would do again. The staff were all awesome and super friendly. They clearly love their jobs. Except for the woman at the front desk that checked us in. She was pretty miserable and I was worried that she was setting the tone for his experience. That was not the case thankfully. So either she was having a bad day or just a cranky woman. Either way don't let her get to you. Everyone else was super nice. read more

Great place to get my fast driving out without getting a speeding ticket. First time here and it seems to be very well organized system. After going through registration I watched a short educational video and then was sent to the track. Took 2 recon laps around the track with an instructor who was explaining the rules of the track and showed me how to take on the track. The recon laps we took in a Ford Mustang. After that I got into the driver's seat of a Ferrari F430 and took on the track. This track is designed in a way that except for speed there's lots of G force to deal with around the corners. I paid an extra $40 for video and speed tracking which in my opinion is worth every penny. The ride was lots of fun and the instructor wasn't overbearing but very professional and encouraging. At the end of the laps it's a short wait to get the video and driving data and you're free to go show off. I enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it to those of you who are addicted to speed (on the road ) like me. Go and get you some Ferrari or Lamborghini drive time. read more

Staff is friendly and the instructors very helpful in bringing my driving game up a notch in cars I only dream about. If there were more stars, I would give them. Took a group of 60 people (male & female) out for an employee event last week and as most of them said - "It was an experience of a lifetime." The DriveXotic crew couldn't have been more organized and accommodating. Imagine - All 60 people driving 3 laps in 3 different cars, and they moved people though with no rush and kept everyone engaged during their wait time. If you feel the need for speed, this is your place. I received this experience as a Christmas gift with Groupon pricing. The staff was friendly and helpful. My instructor, George, has decades of driving experience and was instrumental in my posting fast lap times. I chose the red Ferrari for a personal preference, however George said the Porsche is best suited to that track and posts the quickest times. I also used the recon laps to better understand the best track line. The recon laps are totally worth the expense for first time drivers at this track. My best lap was 1:25 with top speed on the short straight around 140 kph. Overall 5 star experience but a word to the wise - test your flash drive for playback before leaving. Mine was flawed and they erase the SD card as soon as you leave. read more

Found this place through groupon and took my husband for a birthday drive. It was a bit of a hike for us - I originally wanted to drive luxury cars at Texas Motor Speedway ($500 starting price), but the groupon gave us the same experience in the $150 range. Staff was friendly and helpful - note that they may not answer the phone - I booked the date and time online, and then we got there early the day of the check in and register. Make sure you read the FAQs online. You get a trained instructor who rides with you on the course, and you select the car you want beforehand. Not much else to do there besides the race tracks so plan your day ahead! read more

The driving experience was a complete and total 5 star! The instructors made what seem impossible actually possible. I've never driven a car with that much power before but I was able to safely make it around the trap in one piece, with no accidents. My only complaint is that for the price of the video (40$), the quality should be both better of the visuals and the sound. It is 2018 and the quality looks like it is 360p, pushing 720p. That price should at least demand 1080p if not 1440p. I would look into being your own sports action camera. Also the video being in kilometers per hour and not miles per hour is confusing. But all in all I would say I would definitely be back again. But I don't think I will buy the video again, unless they upgrade the cameras and microphones. Otherwise, pull up, pick a car, feel and drive like Michael Schumacher. Then when your done pop next door and watch the pros! P.s. But make sure you have someone to drive you home! Once that adrenaline wears off it is hard to stay awake!! read more

I purchased the 4 lap experience with the Lamborgini for my husband plus the video for about $200 for Valentine's Day. When I checked out their website I was blown away thinking one can actually drive those amazing cars and experience the thrill all in a controlled environment. I thought it would be allowed to actually drive at high speeds, it was NOT. I was under the impression after reading their website that you either ride as a passenger or you get to drive the vehicle. I will say the purchase process and their paperwork was simple and the video during registration before the drive was very informative and helped explain how the track is. (oh if you want to actually drive the track before your purchased laps, you can do so for an ADDITIONAL $50, who does that?! That should totally be included in all purchased laps, what a rip-off) First of all, my husband is 6'2" and about 260lbs.. He asked one of the registration ladies which car was the roomiest because he was concerned he would not fit. She said all the cars were about the same in the interior but that he would fit with no problem - NOT TRUE, he was not even able to wear the helmet, he had the seat pushed as far back as possible and his legs were still crouched - He said he drove with his head and neck hunched over, legs crouched, and pressing the gas pedal with the side of his foot (total bummer) - The biggest disappointment of all was finding out that you do NOT drive the vehicle alone, there is an instructor in the passenger seat the ENTIRE time telling you when to brake and when to accelerate, womp womp. (If you did not obey the instructor, the drive would be cancelled immediately) My husband said he didn't even get to enjoy the fact he was driving a Lamborghini because he was so concentrated on obeying all the instructor's driving commands, he says he cannot even remember what the car looked like inside and the drive was nothing but turn after turn with no room to gain speed. Oh there is a "pit stop" area where the family can wait and watch from afar and take pictures with the car afterwards. This experience would best be suited for young kids who can get a thrill of "driving" an awesome car with a chaperone the whole time OR for those into track driving. I understand the company's concern with liability and injury issues, but this was NOT what we expected - My husband was never allowed to go over 90 and I watched the video which shows the speedometer the entire time - what a waste of money - that's what I get for trying to do something different instead of the same ol' dinner and a movie read more

Truly good customer service needs to be recognized!! I gave my son a driving experience for Christmas. He's 17. He chose to drive a Lamborghini and I paid extra for video. He drove and he got a thumb drive with the video... but the video was messed up. I sent it back to them and they tried to recover it, but it was not possible. So they gave me two options. A) refund my money or B) let him come back and drive again and re-record it.... TOTALLY FREE! Hmmmm, what do you think he wants to do?? I did 7 laps with Jason today. First time driving on a track. It was a blast!!! I drove the Vette because the engine was closest to what I have in my AMG and Jason was great. He talked me through the basics before we went out and then we drove. It was so fun. The track is tight with a lot of turns so you really get to work on turn-in, braking and apex. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see if they like track driving and Jason was so fun (and patient). The only downside is it is over too soon. read more
