I don't like to be treated as though they're doing me a favor. So I hid the road and wound up at Crossroads. To tell the truth it was a bit more expensive. A young woman gave me great service. I know nothing about bushes and all that stuff. If she didn't know an answer she found someone that did.She also liked my joke!. We had everything delivered and it went perfect. The next day went back for another small tree and everyone remembered my name. That could be because they're good of I'm such a pain in the ass that they'd remember me. Thursday, June 4th, I called and made a delivery order for 2 yards of black mulch and two yards or top soil. This delivery was going to an elder couple that I was doing some landscaping work for (not my own home)). The delivery was scheduled for 9am on Sunday, June 7th. I went to their house at 8:45am to lay tarps and wait for the delivery to be able to pay the guys. At 9:21am, I made the first phone call to Joe- and the answer I got was, "I've waited 4-5 hours for a delivery before,, the delivery guy is out on the road, he will be there". At 9:53am, I called for a second time, just get an update, considering it's been a half hour for a 3 mile drive. Joe proceeds to tell me that my order ticket was for 10am, not 9am and that the driver was on the road headed my way. Oddly, he never asked for an address, or anything. Fast forward another 45 minutes. I chose to make the 3 mile drive to Crossroads Nursery. Talked to a young guy on a loader who said that when the next drive gets back, they will driver it right away. That was at 10:45ish. I walked into the main nursery to pay for the delivery since I no longer was able to wait for the delivery. I went to hand, Mr. Attitude aka Joe, the owner, a check and he just looked at me and said, "what do you want me to do with this?" "Well, I would like to pay for the delivery that hasn't arrived yet, as I cannot wait any longer". "Oh your the bad attitude lady on the phone". Listen, I was annoyed at the situation but Joe tells me he just got off the phone with the driver but when I ask for an ETA, he says that he may have stopped for gas, or food or even maybe broke down. Then he hung up on me. As for my check, he threw it back at me in front of oof her customers and said..."the nerve of some people", "you're mad bc your delivery is 30 mins late", "it's not my fault that you never made an order ticket". So after alllllll of this, bottomline is that when I spoke to the owner on Thursday, he never made the ticket and I was never getting a delivery. I will NEVER use this place again. I will be happy to turn people away from this place. I am embarrassed that this guy owns a business, especially I in the same town that I live. I have seen that this is not the first complaint about Joe-the owner, being rude, abrasive, combative and just downright absurdly nasty.

My most recent experience ordering 3yds of mulch was amazing. I called early on the previous week of my delivery and spoke to Randy. The conversation was polite, professional, and appreciative of my business. We arranged that I would stop in and make payment in person prior to delivery. On the day of delivery I was on my way home from work and saw on my garage cam mulch had not been delivered. I called over to Fama's and was assured my delivery was on the schedule and due to be there within an hour. 30 minutes later mulch was in my driveway, just as my daughter got home from school. The driver had a brief polite conversation with my daughter which was amazing to witness!! After this latest experience with Fama's I will be using them for mulch delivery for as long as I live here in Somerset. Fantastic people! Fantastic service! Fantastic Price!

So cheerful, friendly, and helpful--walking me out to pick the right one and putting them in my trunk... It is the little things that mean so much and they got this down at Fama. I have been coming to this delightful family owned business for over 20…read moreyears. I have never had a problems with any of the many plants I have purchased during that time. Also it is very evident that every plant they sell has had hands on care because all have the look of a well cared for specimen. I love to visit when their signature plant an iconic, massive gardenia that touches the roof, is in full bloom. This happens every year in early summer. If you call them they can tell you when it will be in bloom. There are hundreds of blossoms, and anyone that knows gardenias will tell you just how fussy they are about where they are located. It is very apparent when a Gardenia is content, and this one is no exception. Personally, I see this fact as clear evidence of the wonderful care the owners give their charges. I try to visit when it is in bloom because I can feel joy in the greenhouse where it lives. A mother and daughter do all of the work and it is not unusual to see three generations together when I visit. The owners always have a calm and cheerful greeting with a warm smile. I just love this place. Every year I look forward to my visits to Schwartz Gardens. Garden centers like this one are a dying breed, and need to be appreciated and supported. I encourage everyone to visit Schwartz's and I believe you will come away feeling grateful. I always feel gratitude whenever I visit this enchanting garden center.

The young man at the register would not honor the coupon even though it was a mistake on their part. I just became a customer here last year but will not be returning after today. I was told that I was not the first customer that encountered this issue today but here we are at 5:30pm and no communication sent to the customers of their mistake. Below is a screenshot of the response I received from the "manager ". You can't give me a $500 reward to step foot back in that establishment after the response I received. She was called out on her shitty customer service and instead of responding like a manager with any type of class would she decided to respond with shittier customer service. Absolutely disgusting!!!
