The food was quite tasty. The service was good. Some of the dishes are wonderful, like the black pepper chicken. Other stuff on the buffet leaves something to be desired. We tried this restaurant twice, to hopefully, let them redeem themselves for the first experience. But the second time was just as bad as the first. The food was flavorful, but inedible, as it was not even lukewarm. On the second occasion, I ended up asking to have my plate put into a microwave to heat the food. When I brought this to the attention of the woman who was sitting at the cashier section, there was no apology, no anything! All that was said was "well... you have to take from the bottom of the warmer." I wonder if the health department is aware that the food here is not at the temperature that is needed to be served. The food was good. The main issue I have is that the waitresses were acting silly and laughing like we were at a school girl cafeteria. They were in a room next to us cussing, etc. I didn't get asked for a drink refill until I was done. Upon leaving I asked for my bill and crossed off the tip. There is no excuse for this behavior it is rude and disrespectful to customers. I didn't get dessert we just wanted to leave. For a town the size of Big Spring, this is an excellent buffet. Good size, good selections, reasonable price. The restaurant (and decor) itself isn't anything to write home about, but if you don't mind that, you'll be happy with the rest. Sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken both very good. Lo mein was tasty. Egg drop soup was ok - not nearly as flavorful as it should have been. Some seafood selection (went in late afternoon so this was probably the dinner servings). Food was hot and they were constantly bringing out new dishes. Dessert selection was a little paltry but they do have soft-serve ice cream to pack everything in your belly. Food is OK. Went today 1/3/20, one of the 3 buffet items I eat when I go twice a month was really old and rubbery. ( the imitation crab claws ). I asked the lady replenishing the buffet to make me 5 of them, that's all I eat, and showed her how old the ones on the buffet were she straight out sayed no. 5 of them may be .35 cents worth of food to them. I then asked the manager he sayed OK and took the old claws into the back. They brought me the same exact ones 15 mins later. I couldn't believe it. So the .35 cents they saved is gonna cost $228. a year of my business. If this is their mindset what are their practices when it comes to throwing away out dated food ??? This is nasty came to visit my husband from Arizona (he currently works here in big spring) I got food and sushi which is my favorite was all dry and looked like it had been sitting there for hours it was nasty also I got some chicken which seemed to be orange chicken and it was dry and rubbery they put same food out from probably a day before I do not recommend at all !!! Worst Chinese food I have ever seen and tasted. Ps bathrooms are hideous water leaking fountains falling off and toilets full of crap. read more

I travel a lot during the summer so trying to find a decent place to eat throughout the small towns is hard. I come here every year for this Chinese buffet. Good food as long as you are here during busy hours because the food is hot and fresh. Pleasant staff and fast too read more

I would have left a better review had my party not been over charged. The food is about what you'd expect for $6.75 ayce. The "wasabi" by the sushi was watery and chunky. I did not sample it. The fried shrimp were OK. I could not eat much of this place's food, it just didn't seem right. It filled me up, but don't come here expecting much quality wise. The tab for 5 adults: $6.75 each plus $1.50 each for soda and with tax came to $44.75. One party member wanted to pay separately, while I paid for the other 4. The other guy was charged $10.60 (remember, everyone had the same thing), and then I was charged $42.40 for the other 4. How the guy at the register split $44.75 up and came up with $10.60, $42.40 I'll never know. It wasn't worth arguing over. Hopefully they will use the extra $8 they scammed me out of and put it toward repairing their public Jr. High school quality restrooms. read more

Not a bad place for a town like Big Spring. I would often come here for lunch breaks while I worked in Big Spring (2011-2014), & I liked that their lunch hours were nice & extended, since I usually had a later lunch break. The staff was also very helpful & friendly, & the buffet offered many good choices (plenty of them vegetarian-friendly!). It was also a nice, quiet atmosphere where I could enjoy reading in peace. This was a great lunch stop on our road trip from New Mexico. Huge buffet selection for an affordable price, and they even have enough vegetarian choices. Their egg drop soup was delicious. Little too gelatinous but it was spiced enough and had plenty of egg. Their sweet and spicy soup on the other hand was underwhelming. They have a huge selection of shrimp - fried, salt and pepper, and butter roasted, and the shrimp was my favorite! Their pork dumplings and sesame sauce was also amazing. Another highlight was the fried rice, spicy fried chicken wings, and the tiramisu cake. Watch out for the fried food - it can be overly doughy, and some other sauces can be too sweet. Their sushi has too much cream cheese, and I understand why it's not authentic sushi, but if you're used to real sushi, skip this sushi selection. The desserts are average. Their tiramisu and flaky pastry biscuits were the only memorable ones, but still were extremely average. Overall - wide selection, lots of good tasting food. Ate here on a Thursday at 6pm. Good crowd already here. Average looking Chinese place but it had 6 buffet tables and most were filled with hot steaming food. Had the Mongolian pork, pepper steak, egg rolls, spring rolls and egg drop soup. Everything had real good flavor. My wife tried an assortment of things and loved every bit of it. Eek ! is exactly right. We were very disappointed in the buffet. It did not have any good items that stood out. It was your typical buffet and the salad bar had one dressing,the LoMein tasted like garlic, the sweet n sour chicken tasted funny(maybe it was the dark meat) most places use white meat, the food was not good and a waste of money. You'd be better off going to McDonalds or some other fastfood place and get better satisfaction !!! I'd not advise or think this place has good food for anyone. read more
