Great boba shop near ASU Tempe campus! Even if it is not busy, the wait to get your drink is a little longer.

Brown Sugar Chai w/ Sea Salt Cream

Yum! We got a large Brown Sugar Chai w/ Sea Salt Cream with boba and again one of the tastiest milk teas I've had. Something about Phoenix and their milk teas, they get em right! It had the warm spices of chai, it was not too sweet, the sea salt cream was a fun quirky addition, and the boba was the right type of chewy. There was only one person behind the counter but they were so efficient in getting our and other orders ready. It's a cute store with limited seating but we had no problem in finding a table on a hot Sunday afternoon.

    Arizona Sunset- very refreshing!

Excellent little spot! My tea was refreshing & the jellies had actual flavor. Peaceful vibe inside- especially with all the craziness outside after the game. Great, friendly service. They easily adjusted my drink to my preferences.

Came here during lunch after buying some goodies at Cupbop next door. There was construction happening although once inside the place was cute. Looked at the menu and they had great variety of options from fruit and milk teas. I then waited 5 minutes at the counter but no one showed up. Called out hello and nothing. Another customer came in and was waiting. I left shortly after. There is a ding that goes off when people come in so not sure what the problem is. Hope to visit again in the future so i can update my review

This place is so cute for a quick little date. It not even a 20 minute walk from my dorm, and my boyfriend and I love to come here just to walk and talk, while grabbing a sweet treat. We have been back many times already and plan to keep on coming back. This place is very vibey for a date or just a hangout with friends. There are ice breaker cards on each table, just open ended questions. The drinks are very delicious, there are many options, something for everyone! We love this place.

Sadly, I have to agree with some of the other reviews. I'm a huge boba fan and this just wasn't good. The staff was wonderful - super friendly and efficient. I ordered the chai brown sugar milk tea with less ice + boba. The tea was lacking flavor and tasted watered down. There was very little brown sugar taste. The boba was fine. Overall the whole drink was bland - not a good quality for a boba tea.

Kumquat lemonade with star fruit jelly
    Katie A.

My kumquat lemonade with starfruit jelly was really tasty, but I initially received the wrong drink even when I verified it with the cashier. For $8 for a lemonade, it would have been nice to receive the drink correctly the first time when it was confirmed. Also, there are two sizes and I asked for the "regular" but was told the drink only came in large and I asked for green tea, lemonade and starfruit jelly and the cashier said they couldn't do it. I'm not sure if that's because they didn't know how to ring it up on the register or what but that seemed strange to me. There is also a small patio in the front, but on a Saturday night there were 2 homeless people sitting out there which didn't make us (a group of 3 girls) comfortable enough to hang around. The drink was good but the service was lacking!

Went on a Saturday night. Tasty Caramel Apple Harvest. Service was excellent, and will be back!

I'm a huge boba lover but this one is not for me. I got a mango boba slushy but it was BAD. The slush was broken into pieces it was disgusting. There was no boba and it was just no for me + they used dong tea covers for there boba. Although the workers were nice.

Oof. Not great place for boba at all. The ding tea they replaced was also not great but better than this. Both milk teas are watery, the boba is hard and flavorless, and their fruit drinks are obviously not great from the their vast menu and syrup all over the place. Not much to say about it except that it's not worth coming.

Then he started talking to my daughter about a couple of other drink options, and wow--he had me reconsidering my whole order! My daughter reminded me that I don't like prickly pear, but Hunter kindly let me sample it anyway. Sure enough, I still didn't like it--but he made it sound so delicious and refreshing that I almost believed I would! We left already planning our next visit just to see Hunter again. Snakes & Lattes is a fun spot in downtown Tempe to grab food, drinks, and hang out with friends…read moreover board games. The space is huge with plenty of tables, booths, and bar seating, plus they have a dog-friendly patio, although it didn't seem to be open during our visit. One thing to note is that ordering is done entirely through QR code, so interaction with staff is pretty minimal. Service was still smooth, but it definitely has more of a self-service feel. Their board game collection is massive and there's a $6 per person fee if you want to play. We ended up skipping the games this time and just came for food and drinks. Food-wise, everything was solid. I had the Spellbinder Hazy IPA along with the patty melt and sweet potato fries (a $3 upcharge). The patty melt was excellent and easily the highlight of my meal. The fries were decent, though I wish they had been a little crispier. My wife had the 12 West Super Beaker Tropical IPA and the carnitas bowl. We also shared the fried pickle chips. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since all the nearby downtown Tempe garages are paid parking, but there are at least several options within walking distance. There's even a small paid lot right behind the restaurant. Overall, a really cool concept with good food, drinks, and an impressive game selection.

I had their regular cold brew with a splash of cream and a Sunrise Sandwich- both were so good! The cold brew had a lovely aftertaste that in my opinion, reminded me of dark chocolate and whiskey. Service was also fantastic- the lovely barista was thorough in her explanations of each cold coffee option to help me find what I was looking for! My sandwich was also lovely- the Sunrise Sandwich on an Everything Bagel is easily my favorite breakfast sandwich in Tempe. The Basil Pesto adds a bit of freshness to an otherwise very rich sandwich. The ube cold foam was actually the perfect flavor, it had the earthiness and vanilla richness that I was looking for to accent the matcha. The matcha itself on the other hand, was a little too milky for my tastes, and kind of got lost in the ube flavor. I would have loved for it to be a little stronger!
