I was excited to try a place I've not been to yet, but I'm sorry to say I wasn't all that impressed. =/ The drink I ordered was the Dubai Chocolate Bliss which happens to be their "Drink of the Month." Mine wasn't green so that was pretty off. Also, it didn't really have any flavor other than that from the boba. I also ordered the Popcorn Nuggets and while the lady claimed it was "fresh from the fryer," they tasted like the ones that you buy frozen and just popped in an air fryer. They weren't the best tasting in my opinion. They did come with ketchup for dipping, but that didn't help it much. Although the staff was friendly and quick to get my stuff out, I probably won't be back here. The ambiance is casual and fun. They do offer a military discount here when you show your valid I.D. Clean place, friendly staff at the counter and they offer a lot of drink options to select from. They offer a drink of the month and specialty drinks to select from. We ordered the strawberry matcha (I recommend adding more matcha to add more flavor to the drink) and coconut butterfly. They have a few table to sit inside or outside. Something about Phoenix and their milk teas, they get em right!It had the warm spices of chai, it was not too sweet, the sea salt cream was a fun quirky addition, and the boba was the right type of chewy. Looked at the menu and they had great variety of options from fruit and milk teas. I then waited 5 minutes at the counter but no one showed up. Called out hello and nothing. Another customer came in and was waiting. I left shortly after. There is a ding that goes off when people come in so not sure what the problem is. For $8 for a lemonade, it would have been nice to receive the drink correctly the first time when it was confirmed. The only thing I want to say is RIP to the strawberry milk tea. When it was Ding Tea, that was my favorite drink-- it tasted like they actually used fresh strawberries, maybe they made the syrup, I don't know. But the new people use a different recipe, and it just tastes like a regular artificially flavored strawberry milk. Maybe it's different now, because I haven't been back since that fateful day shortly after they became Dragon Tea. I'm sure the rest of the drinks are good. I just miss the strawberry milk tea, so owners if you're reading this, please let me know if you've changed the recipe or if you ever do in the future. The inside is super cute, employees are very kind, and they offer fun new menu items every once in a while. The menu has lots of options, from types of drinks to snacks. I always get boba and lychee jelly in my drinks. So chewy, fresh and soft. However, if you don't like sweet, get 50% or less sweetness. I'm a night owl and I'm usually on mill for the night life. Dragon Tea Boba is my new go-to spot. I've tried a lot of boba places, but this one stands out. The drinks are super flavorful (highly recommend the Dubai Chocolate Bliss and the Strawberry Horchata), and the boba is always perfectly chewy. I also love their snack menu--crispy, tasty, and served hot! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the vibe inside is cozy with great music. Oof. Not great place for boba at all. The ding tea they replaced was also not great but better than this. Both milk teas are watery, the boba is hard and flavorless, and their fruit drinks are obviously not great from the their vast menu and syrup all over the place. I am a huge fan of bubble tea. I visited this location on two separate occasions and tried two different flavors. The first drink I tried was the strawberry matcha. It was devine! SHORT GIRL WITH RED CURLY HAIR AND LIP PIERCING!!!! My friends and I just went here and we got there at 9:44pm, 16 minutes before close. The 3 of us ordered one drink each. There was a short girl with red curly hair and a lip piercing working, we tipped her 20% since we all felt bad for coming in somewhat close to closing time.
