The bacon was on the thin side, a perfect amount for a sandwich, and had several layers of nice fresh tomato sliced thinly piled up about an inch high which gave me a nice juicy bite. The cook worked behind an open window and shouted out to me, 'Do you want mayo on that?', I said yes and went back to perusing the odd assortment of feel-good cute kitsch adorning the walls and nooks of the spacious dining room with a decidedly Christian bent to it. We had never heard of this Diner but the reviews were all good or excellent and so we gave it a try. The manager is a sweetheart and gave us lots of good advice. We chose the battered Haddock to go and were not disappointed. The servings were large and the quality of the product was excellent. One order with an extra fish was more than sufficient for our needs and we will be returning to the Sunshine Diner with friends we intend to introduce to this quaint place. The Diner is small but the product and management make up for any deficiency. Thanks for a great meal and at a reasonable price. In the future we intend to try some other offerings. A lot of black flies bothered us in the restaurant. Time of year and location does not help. I suggest if the owner reads this, get one of those UV lights that attracts the flies and gets rid of them. Stick it up is the restaurant somewhere. Portion sizes a good size. Prices ok. Kid friendly if you decide that you have to feed your offspring. Two burger / fries, Caesar side for the kid, one soft drink came to $50. I would return here if we are back up in this area of the province again.
