He is an extremely healthy, happy, and very good-natured rabbit. He took to the litter box immediately and never once peed outside of it. Kristen was friendly and easy to work with. I've worked with Kristen both to adopt bunnies and subsequently board them. Very reasonable boarding prices. The adoption fees were a bit on the expensive side but the bunnies are also perfect Kristen is super easy to talk to and very available. My first lop passed away in my arms and I was DEVASTATED. I decided to look for another lop and I found Dragonfly Farms! I picked up my new bestie "Expo" and he is such a cutie. Kristen was very upfront and willing to share her wealth of information on bunnies! She sent me home with information on lop care and some food and treats. She even has cage set-ups available to purchase for a good price just in case you don't have proper means to take your bun home! From the looks of where she cares for her bunnies, they don't appear to be socialized much (with humans or other bunnies) nor leave their cage (I was only there for 20 minutes so I don't truly know) , HOWEVER it was clean and safe and this has allowed Expo to be fairly laid back. Long Story short, we purchased a pig from Dragonfly Farm Mini Pigs and Holland Lops in October. She came to us unhealthy with terrible skin issues. After trying home remedies on her skin and having very little success, I contacted the breeder (above) and asked for her vet records to give to our veterinarian. She refused to give any records and was totally awful to deal with. We took our pig to the vet and he said her issues were from bad living conditions and poor health (see letter). The breeder refused to even compensate for the vet visit, so I disputed the credit card charge and won the full disputed amount due to evidence I provided. Fast forward 8 months later, my 15 year old daughter MERELY tagged me in a post and Kristen (breeder and owner of Dragonfly) posts several harassing comments to her including that we were all going to hell and that I was "brainwashing" my daughter. We purchased a pet quality Holland lop from Dragonfly Farm a couple of weeks ago. Before we visited the farm, Kristen communicated promptly and clearly about the bunnies she had for sale, and sent me a few pics. They are also shown on the website. When we went to look at the bunnies they all seemed healthy and well taken care of. There were several bunnies ready to go, and they were all surprisingly calm and accustomed to being handled. My 6-year-old daughter chose this pet quality blue eyed white and Kristen gave us directions, info, advice and a small bag of feed. It's clear she cares about the welfare of the animals she is selling. We're very happy with this bunny, who is an excellent first pet for my daughter. After we purchased a six week old bunny and got home any questions we had she was very short with us and not friendly at all and would only text, not answer my calls. We bought the bunny as an indoor pet. He passed away after 6 days and not only did she not have any sympathy she blamed us for letting him on the lawn for 5 minutes on the drive home. Which we weren't told not to do until after. Then she changed what she had told us and said it's because we held him too much that week. We followed her holding instructions which later she also changed saying we should never have held him for a few days. We were told 15 minutes a day was ok for a few days until he settled. We never asked for a refund or a new rabbit yet she was very rude when asked what could have went wrong. (she did offer an adult but since we wanted to house train we wanted a young rabbit, plus I would rather have a bunny from a different breeder if this is her customer service level) I talked to four other rabbit breeders and pet feed stores who told us 5 minutes in grass and 15 minutes of being held would not kill a bunny. They think it was because he was only 6 weeks old, too soon and they also let me know they know of other people that had the same issue with this particular breeder. I thought he was just super calm but after talking to other breeders and seeing normal activity levels of other breeders' rabbits I wonder if he wasn't ill. She also was bullying me by text , telling me to not talk to other breeders about my situation. While discussing with other breeders I found that this happened to other people they know that got bunnies from her and she refused to talk to them too. I heard this from multiple breeders as well as that holding a bunny is just fine and so is letting it on grass for 5 minutes. This breeders bunnies must be extra fragile if allowing them to touch grass or holding a few minutes a day kills them. I had the worst experience with a employee at this farm. I texted asking about a boy bunny. I was willing to pick him up today. The website stated he wasn't ready until the 30th but also stated he may be sold by the time my weekend came along which was Monday the 29th... Either way I was happy to reschedule for a later date so the bunny was fully weaned, but he/she said the bunny I wanted could be sold by then.. so obviously I felt pressured to claim him. In the midst of trying to figure this out and asking to put him on hold or meet up, I get in reply " If you can read, you can see he cant go home. Not comfortable selling to you bye. Can't write a novel all day" "Begging to take an animal from its mom is sad " Which I never did or insisted on doing... All I said previous to this was that I was only interested in buying the bunny I wanted since they kept sending me pics of other rabbits that I was not interested in.. I was trying to be cooperative and was willing to make an hour and a half drive. I didn't mind waiting until the bunny was grown nor did I demand to take him. I simply misunderstood what they wanted due to lack of communication. I love my little ham aka Cooper. I have never owned a pig before so I did a lot of research on where to purchase my pig. I have to say he is one of the best pets I've owned. Super smart, great temperament and has been so much fun to train. I highly recommend Dragonfly farms. I just recently picked up my mini-pig from Kristen up at Dragonfly Farm. Kristen was the second breeder I visited. She was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable, and you could tell the animals were well taken care of. More important though, was that I could tell Kristen cared for her animals, not only while they were in her care, but after they went to their new home as well. We also visited 5 weeks earlier, and there was another family looking at the mini pigs as well. Kristen was patient and kind, answering all our questions. I even called and emailed in between visiting and making my final decision and all my questions were answered promptly and clearly. I have called Kristen several time since bringing Belle home, an once again, she has answered all my questions patiently and kindly. Belle, our mini pig is 10 weeks old, and Kristen had her spayed the week before we picked her up. She is healthy and happy, and as a first time mini pig owner who was excited but nervous about bringing her home, I couldn't be happier with Belle. Like with children, I believe Belle is an exceptional pig. She potty trained the first day after only one accident. Kristen, the owner, is extremely rude. Seems very friendly at first but will attack you on social media, and even goes as far as attacking children about any opinions they have on mini pigs if it doesn't fit their narrative. My mama pig is from Dragonfly farm and while I wasn't the one who directly purchased her (I rescued from the person who did), I still have had several bad experiences from her. The pig was supposedly spayed while in kristens care and I had been shown correspondence between her and the previous owner that she had gotten her spayed but when they picked up the pig, the vet record stating that was nowhere to be found. Kristen had even showed a "scar" on her stomach, which a later vet visit on my part concluded that that was just her belly button. I had brought her home and since I was told she was spayed, I put her in with my unaltered boys who had an appointment to get neutered later that week. I noticed she went into heat a few days later and thought that was odd because she was supposedly spayed. Immediately separated but was already too late. Nearly 4 months later, she had a litter of 6 piglets. I was 16 at the time and had no intention of purposefully getting her bred as I had no room for 6 more pigs. So I rehomed 5 of them for around $100 a piece with all the boys going home neutered and the 1 female with a spay contract. I lost money on the deal from feeding them and the neutered and vet visits on the babies and mama. Kristen berated my mom, who posted them for me, on social media for having an unexpected litter and also for selling them so cheap because I "wouldn't find good homes for them". However, I kept contact with the buyers and I believe they're all happy healthy pigs now. Later down the line, a few months ago, I posted my mama pig for rehoming on one of Kristens Facebook groups for mini pigs as she had started attacking one of my males and I don't have space to keep them separated without keeping one inside with really no outside area to enjoy the grass. Kristen told me, again, that I'm a horrible pig owner and I should've had her spayed a long time ago (wasn't that your job Kristen??). I ended up getting her spayed for almost $800, having to borrow money from my parents and grandparents as I was out of work due to Covid-19 shutdowns. Kristen said she'd take her back to breed her, even though she just told me she needed to be spayed or she'd continue acting out and may act out towards people as well. This has been 2 months now and still no hormonal changes. I have her kept inside and let her out when it's nice enough to roam the yard. Kristen was absolutely no help and doesn't hold her end up of the deal. She's also had piglets go home with horrible skin conditions, which were found to be malnutrition or bad husbandry issues, other pigs not spayed as promised, and sick with genetic issues. My questions is if she has been genetics going on, why is she still breeding and not rehauling her program? And why are her animals going to new homes in poor health? I posted this review on her Facebook farm page and she blocked me from her Facebook groups and claimed that's why I posted it (even though this was after I posted my review) and then immediately turned off the ability to review her company on Facebook. Bought a beautiful dark grey baby bunny today. Kristen was very helpful over the past week answering all of my emails and texts. She helped me with any questions I had about taking care of the bunny. I even bought a nice spacious cage from her at a very good price. We love our little guy so much, we drove 3 1/2 hours to pick him up and 3 1/2 hours back and he did great! I agree with Danyel that this is a horrible "breeder" who is incredibly unprofessional, provides poor customer service and the worst part is her animals are kept in incredibly sad conditions. 40+ rabbits in small cages, stacked on top of each other, in a dark, dingy barn, never seeing the outside world. But she will tell you, they have "toys"? We purchased 2 rabbits from Kristin, from different litters, of which she had no record or paperwork of what date they were actually born, although "believed" they were 6 weeks and 8 weeks. She informed us to get them spayed at 6 mos. After having them less then a day, the older rabbit continually tried to mate with the other. The rabbit became more and more aggressive both with the paired rabbit and us, biting us and growling whenever we tried to attend to the hutch. Kristin said the rabbit was "Sexually frustrated" and we needed to get her spayed, but she was only 10 weeks old which contradicted her original recommendation. We called several vets in the area that would not spay a rabbit under 6 mos old, to which Kristin responded that those vets were "Inexperienced". The vet we visited also believed the rabbit to be much older then the age Kristin has "guessed" to which she responded that the vet didn't know as much as she. Kristin said we "made the bunny" act this way because we wouldn't get her spayed, even though the veterinarians were telling us that it can't be done until 6 mos and Kristin herself told us this both verbally and in a written information sheet. When we questioned all these issues, sadly Kristin became more aggressive in blaming and responding in teenage antics and bullying. She did not offer any constructive solutions and we have since contacted an alternate breeder who is willing to help us fix the situation. Kristin is incredibly rude and difficult to interact with due to her lack of professionalism, absent business skills and education, as well as a high level of immaturity. We would advise against purchasing any animal from this hobbyist. An attorney has become involved in the situation, paperwork has been filed with the Better Business Bureau and she has been reported to Washington State for further investigation regarding her business and treatment of these poor animals in violation of both Washington State and Snohomish County statutes. I was looking to buy my first ever bunny. I researched & spoke to a couple different breeders in WA and finally landed on Dragonfly Farms. I contacted Kristen and she was very responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. After visiting her farm, I could tell right away how much she loves her animals. The farm was very clean and the animals were very well cared for. She has the CUTEST bunnies and I immediately fell in love with a baby broken cream buck. He was only a few weeks old at the time I visited. I put down a deposit and was told he would be ready to go home at 8 weeks old, after he had been weaned from his mom and was doing well on his own. The weeks leading up to his homecoming seemed very long and I was missing the little guy. I asked Kristen for picture updates and she was more than happy to provide them. She kept me informed on how my bunny was doing, and when he was weaned from his mom. After 8 weeks, my bunny was ready to come home! I went to the farm and picked him up. Kristen trimmed his nails for me (also teaching me how to do it), provided a bag of food, and care instructions. I now have the sweetest, most adventurous, fun little bunny and I couldn't be happier.
