Good guy, got me out of several emergencies. Guy does what he says he would do, and on time. I will use him again.

I contacted Victory Plumbing to unclog my toilet drain, bathtub drain, and fix my toilet handle…read morethat was broken. I paid about $300 for this job . After they left I was pleased with their work until I tried to flush by toilet. The handle of the toilet was loose and the mechanism inside the tank was not flushing properly. The tank continued to fill with water and then drain. I guess they just did the easy jobs.

I have now used Victory three times. Jeff is my 'go to'!…read more The first time used Victory Plumbing I needed a back-up hot water tank that had failed removed. The project required disconnecting and capping the water lines; disconnecting and capping the gas line; capping the exhaust line; and removal and disposal of the tank. Len the Plumber quoted $1100. Jeff was able to complete the job for $450. Last month, while traveling out of town, my wife called to tell me the hot water tank was leaking. I gave her Jeff's number and asked he to call him, telling him that I would be back in town in early afternoon. Jeff and his apprentice met me at 3:30pm as arranged and replaced my tank within 90 minutes. It was relief to have a professional available for an 'emergency' that I could count upon to show up on time and take care of the problem immediately. Two days ago, Jeff came out and was able to quickly diagnose and repair a small gas line leak on my fireplace within a very short period of time. His work is always neat ,efficient, and reasonably priced. Lastly, when you call the number, Jeff is the person that answers... and he always answers his phone unless both hands are in a project at that moment.

This small business has top-level service, integrity, and they can correctly diagnose the problems…read morethe first time, and then fix them properly. HVAC service is not always cheap, and you will have to expect to pay standard fees and part costs that are part and parcel of the business. Personally, I would gladly DIY any project where I could safely and competently learn how to fix things myself, but servicing an A/C refrigerant line really requires a professional with the right equipment. As an everyday bargain-hunter, I was initially unhappy when told that my Trane A/C required a rather expensive TCV valve part, and I wondered if I was being taken advantage of, as TCV valve prices were typically a fraction of the cost on the work order. It only took reading the HVAC manual to verify that my specific Air Handler model required that unique (and expensive!) part, which was expensive no matter where it was purchased. The technician showed me how he tested to confirm it was the the existing valve that was not operating properly, and how he ruled out other causes for the lack of cooling. In the end, after the part was replaced, I was issued a partial credit since the refrigerant needed to recharge the system was less than originally estimated. That's honesty for you! Blevins will charge you a fair price, and provide high quality service.

I'm one to typically shop within my local community, rather than use a national service or chain…read more Initially, I would've rated Blevins service a little higher, until it came time for them to stand by their service and their billing practices. We first used Blevins to come look at our water heater. The Tech came out, said the burner contacts needed to be cleaned, he cleaned them, we payed him, he left, no problems. Within the next week or so, our water heater stopped working again. We called Blevins, the tech came back out, re-cleaned the contacts on the burner, and told us "He wasn't going to charge us for this visit". Which, made sense to me, since we already paid them to fix a problem that came back. 5 months later, we received a bill in the mail with a note that said "We're sorry, we forgot to bill you, we had a busy last few months". I immediately called the woman at the front desk, explained to her what had happened. As she proceeded to tell me her techs "don't do that" I raised some concerns about how we can fairly dispute the timeline of events, when they send a bill 6 months after they told me they wouldn't bill me, for work that wasn't done correctly to begin with. I think it's important to note that the woman who answered the phone, is combative and doesn't seem to have acumen for logic and reason. After my call, I was called back by the same lady, who now says the "tech never said that" (which, I have a hard time believing that six months later he was able to recall this exact event, which he obviously couldn't... because it happened). Then I was told, they wouldn't charge me, but I would now be added to their "DO NOT SERVICE" list. Hilarious. IF YOU THINK I WOULD EVER CONSIDER USING YOUR COMPANY AGAIN, YOU'RE SADLY MISTAKEN. Oh, and they didn't even honor that. They keep billing us for that same visit. Terrible business owner and customer service. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
