My plumber had retired after 30 years of taking care of our needs. Searched Yelp and found Hamilton plumbing. Local business with good reviews. I called and was told the plumber would call me back. Vernon called me back within 2 hours we set up for him to come the next day. He showed up as promised and replaced a kitchen faucet and reset a toilet that the flange had rusted out. Very reasonably priced. I had a water heater that was beyond it's expiration date. Set up a date for the following week. Vernon called me on Tuesday morning as promised. He was at my house on time. Had everything he needed for the job and did a great job. In my younger day I would have done this work myself. Nice to see a professional show up on time. Do quality work at a reasonable price. Hamilton did an amazing job the first couple of times we called them. We never had concerns about their work. In fact, we were so pleased with it that we purchased the service contract. We understood that we were working with a small family-owned company that did not operate 24/7, but after many calls over the course of a year, our calls have not been returned. Vernon did our sewer line inspection when we recently moved, and we liked him so much we hired him to return and install a vanity. That project presented all kinds of challenges, which he presented and then solved. His team has since come back a third time to convert an upstairs closet into a washer/dryer ready spot. Dealing with a clogged sewer line between the upper and lower floor of my house was causing the water to leak down the walls of my lower level bathroom and sewage was filling up the bathtub upstairs. The owner of this company never returned my call to reschedule a service after he was unable to make our first appointment. He has a lot of jobs and it appears he did not need another one. He said to me on our original call that he was not 24/7 and due to how small his company was, he was not able to always respond quickly. I felt that he was talking me out of using his company. I ended up calling another company and they responded the same day, plus they were also cheaper (Hamilton charges $129 just to come out and his maintenance contract was $280/year, the other company charged $79 to come out, which was credited for the service they provided, and the contract was $200/year). read more

12/09/2019 My faucet in my bathtub had to be replaced because I could not access my shower properly. The water cane out of the faucet & shower @ the same time. I asked 2 other plumbers to fix it but since it was a small job they were not interested. I called Hamilton after reading the reviews & was so very happy it was fixed that I can shower with the full amount of water. Plus, I received an estimate on another project down the road. We had just bought our first house and with the changing weather our heat came on for the first time, or what we thought was heat. I called on either a Monday or Tuesday to confirm my appointment because we were having issues with the ac and they had Vernon call me back. He said he could come out the same day and he did. I thought he would say no because we had a really bad storm but he still made it out. He was very knowledgeable and give us options. We ended up needing to get a whole new system and they were able to come out that Saturday to install it. The team that came out did a great job as well. I was telling Vernon about another issue (roof issue) I had at my other house and Vernon even referred me to someone who could help me. Great service, very responsive and only fixed what needed to be fixed at a fair price. I had a pinhole leak in my hot water expansion tank and a rusted out turn off on a basement sink. I was charged $120 for a service call. Hamilton Plumbing Company was unable to produce proof of insurance during the hours of 9-5. This was a steep price considering that no work was done and they could not provide proper documentation for basic building work requirements. My water heater went out so I called a few plumbers and Hamilton Plumbing was the most reasonable and most straightforward. They were professional on the phone and I was set up for them to come by the end of the week. They did a great job installing the water heater and I had them replace my garbage disposal too which was also done very nicely. They also let me know the heat exchanger was cracked on my A/C unit, I didn't want to replace everything due to the cost but after some research I realized I had to replace it. They offered me a great price and installed the new system in no time. Definitely a great company that I will most definitely be using from now on. Had an issue where I stupidly left my hose connected to the outside faucet all year and it was stuck and impossible to get off. I contacted Hamilton Plumbing and they sent Mitch to do the repair. After many attempts with single room humidifiers not doing the job, my husband contacted Hamilton for a whole house humidifier. They did a wonderful job with the installation and explaining how the humidifier works. The one they installed is the best on the market! I have severe sinus/allergy issues and since this humidifier being installed my whole family and I sleep and breathe better. I no longer wake up with terrible headaches or a dry mouth. I also want to point out the size of our utility room is not that big and the fact they were able to work in such a small space and deliver great service showed me how dedicated they are to their customers. OMG I can't thank Vernon enough for making time to fix our AC. We called in the morning. He came by around 4:30 and fixed it within 15 minutes. Wonderful. I highly recommend his services.
