All in all about an hour and a half worth of work and came to the conclusion that the line may be collapsed. I accepted the defeat, hoping it was an easy fix. So with that said I asked what do I owe them for the work they did and it came out to $650. To run a snake up the pipe and utilize the bladder and very little hand digging $650 and the issue was never resolve. And then got offered that they will come out with a mini trackhoe to dig and fix the issue for $1800 pulse cost of materials. I will never again hire a plumber, I might even quit my job as a natural gas pipeliner and start work as a plumber. I feel so cheated out of $650 for nothing really. I Couldn't in my right mind charge somebody full price for that little work and not fixing the issue. Sure make a few bucks coming out to the site and attempting to fix it. But $650??? And septic system is still messed up.... Never again Brooks plumbing.

We just had our 33 year old water heater start to leak (yes, 33 years old!) in our attic. It came…read moreoriginal with the house. It was a 40 gallon gas water heater, that was in a very tight space. James determined he was not going to be able to get another 40 gallon water heater into our attic, and a 30 gallon special short tank that would fit, would take 6 weeks to get delivered. So with his suggestion, we decided to go with a tankless water heater which could be installed later in the week. I definitely did not want to "play chicken" with a leaking water heater in the attic for 6 weeks! James was very responsive and communicative through the whole process. We discussed options and costs through text messages. He also came out to assess our situation the same day we called him!! He's quick, professional, and cool as a cucumber. I included a photo to show off how well the installation was done, it looks great. The water pressure and heating ability of our new tankless is indistinguishable from the water 40 gallon heater tank we had, and it should save some money long term as well!
