The tore down the old wall, dug up the stones from around what used to be a "flower bed area", and rebuilt the wall using the same stones. The stones were in great shape so no reason to buy new ones. The wall looks great and will hopefully remain standing for many decades. The leftover stones were stacked by the garage. We had one miscommunication that happened regarding the length of the wall. My husband and I were gone during the day trusting that the crew would complete the work as we expected and had discussed with Mr. Blankenship. Unfortunately, they ended the wall short by several feet so had to return to extend it the rest of the way. They were not prepared with fill dirt either and when it rained the next day, the loosened dirt just compacted and look terrible as it separated from the wall, so we ended up getting our own. Good thing we had a truck at the time. Because of this, I will say I expected a partial refund, but none was received. Oh well. The wall is holding up fine, looks great, the grass seed has flourished, and I no longer have a dangerously leaning wall.

The install side was straight forward and there were only a few issues that they forgot to address when the concrete was poured. All in all, I was satisfied with their work until after I went to get a permit to build onto a separate pad that they poured. The city informed me that it did not meet code and when speaking with Biff on how to remedy the issue, he stated that he would review the code and let me know how we can fix it. Unfortunately, this was our last communication as Biff refused to respond to any communication efforts. I emailed, texted, and called over a dozen times during a 2 month period and received not even a courtesy call in response. To ghost a customer that had paid for a pad that can't be used shows an extreme lack of integrity and professionalism.

I first called one of the well-known plumbers you hear on the radio, and was surprised to learn there was a $99 +$265 emergency call out charge (a total of $364 before any repairs are even made!), and a 2-hour response tj. I came here to Yelp, and found Mike with Ace's Plumbing... most 5-Star reviews in the area. I called just before 9PM and Mike answered, said he'd be right over (though he was getting ready for bead as well when I called!). He was at my house within 15 minutes, diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes, and was soon running a snake down the main line! Was a total of 30 minutes and the job was done! So glad we searched Yelp and found Ace's! In the end, it cost us LESS THAN HALF of what the other guy wanted just to show up (not to mention a 2-hour response time). Thanks again Mike, you saved the day and saved us a ton of money!!!

I called Ace's Rooter for a clogged drain in my basement floor. Mike was fast to respond and…read moreactually came 30 minutes earlier than stated. The clogged drain was backing up in my basement about 3 feet diameter. It was a 15-20 foot line that ran toward the main line. The water went down the next day when Mike arrived. Mike said if he has to clean out the main line that would be 575, but he would clean out the small line for free. Mike put the camera down the small line which had a handful of small fingerlie type branches in there which shouldn't be. Mike said the pipe was bad and really needed to be replaced. He checked the mainline while I was upstairs turning on water for him. When i came back down stairs he said he already ran the camera down the main line and it was fine. I asked him to show me with his camera because I had just bought the house a few years ago and the house inspector showed me where there were a few branches at the end of the line that would need to be cleaned out eventually. Mike ran the camera again and there was sitting water at the end. He said he could clean out the lines but that would be 575+220 after he just told me he would do the small line for free. I then asked him for a rough estimate on replacing the small line. He got on the phone with his concrete buddy and was whispering in the corner on the phone. Comes back and gives me a quote of 9700.00. I ended up only having him clear out the small line and he ended up charging me 575.00. This guy does a bait and switch on his pricing, so I would get everything in writing on how much it costs before he does any work. I won't be using him again. He gets a 3 for his quick response and that's all. His pricing a 1. His integrity a 0.

The carpet didn't look much better when he was done, and two months later, it looks much worse that if we hadn't had them "cleaned" at all. I was hoping the "zero residue" would prevent this, but it turns out the only difference is that they use purified water. We are going to have to hire another company to come in and clean properly just to get the carpet to look as good as it did before Zerorez came out to "clean" it.

On the 21st I texted him asking about the quote. He said he would send it that night that he "promised". It is now the 26th. No emails or texts or calls. If he doesnt want to do the job, that's more than okay, just tell me. That's honesty I can respect. But when you say you'll so something, and you have to say "I promise" and you don't do that thing? That's an issue to me. I'll be moving on.

We needed a main pipe replaced in the downstairs family room which turned into a bigger problem than we originally thought and necessitated cutting into the flooring and the walls and the patio outside; BUT, Drains N More made the process so smooth and easy for us. After plumbing was finished and concrete poured, they dusted, swept and mopped the downstairs. I was amazed and my mood instantly lifted, even though I have to replace flooring and dry wall, just because it was left in such nice shape. A call to one of the Big Boys might be better than Sharp. At least you know they are going to try to shaft you. Will never use Sharp Plumbing again! Update: The owner called me a couple of weeks ago and admitted they overcharged me and promised a partial refund. No refund has never showed up. I believe it was an attemp at an apeasment because he saw some of the negative reviews. They deserve them.

I had a plumber out to clean it out and after an hour of working gave up and said I would need to have the P-trap jackhammered out of the concrete and would have to to get to it a wall removed and the furnace moved. I found AAA Ace Drain Cleaning online with great reviews. He came out three hours later. It was quite a struggle because there was mortar that had been dumped in the drain and clogged the P-trap. After a couple of hours he was able to bore through the mortar and open the drain. I also had AAA Ace scope the pipes to assure I would not have problems in the future. They were also very neat and clean which is a concern with that type of work. He was very fair on the price for the amount of work I had done. Yes, I will keep AAA Ace Drain Cleaning's name and number for future problems. Chris and Tyler were amazing.
