This one was almost all produce, with a few other things mixed in. We visited yesterday for the first time. There was an information booth giving away free masks if you didn't have one and they were playing music. I love music-it always adds to the mood. It would have been even cooler if it were live music. I'm sure there are some musicians in the community that would love to be showcased. The vendors themselves were pretty far apart from each other. I think that was due to social distancing-which I appreciate. However it does make it feel a little disjointed. But we do what we can with this 'new normal' stuff. Overall, the vibe here was a little weird. I'm not sure if that was due to the lack of people, the space between everyone or what. I think adding a few more vendors with a titch of variety (please, no MLMS) but maybe some handmade soaps or jewelry might add some more character. But if I'm looking for pure locally grown produce, this is a great place to get it!

I can't get enough of these small farmers markets that seem to be popping up all over the valley…read moreand state. The South Jordan Farmers Market is relatively new, but judging by this morning's crowd it's definitely a success. Lots of folks walking around checking out the fresh produce, prepared foods, and other local offerings. Vendors line the little "main street" area of the South Jordan Towne Center which is closed off to vehicles for the market. There are only a couple dozen booths--mostly produce with a few prepared food and plant sellers--so don't expect a huge variety. You can also duck into any of the shops there in the market; it's kind of a unique retail/farmers market partnership. Parking is a little tricky. There's plenty of it, but the layout of the shopping center gets things jammed up when you're close to the action. Better to just park across the lot and hoof it a couple hundred feet. I got there just after noon today and a lot of the growers had already sold the bulk of their harvest. I managed to get some good looking nectarines from a grower in Genola and took a chance on some early pears. I will say that prices here were a little lower than I've seen at a couple of the other local markets. The SoJo FM is open from late July to the end of October from 8am to 2pm each Saturday.

They have shows every hour in the evenings on MWF and we got to see their shows and they were really fun. Raves for kids! Very loud, so if you or your kids are sensitive to noise I would recommend ear plugs. The thriller park has the show, performers, a corn maze, another maze type thing, and a foam pit and bouncy houses. The pumpkin patch has multiple pumpkin patches, TONS of pumpkins, and food trucks, ice cream, paintball (costs extra) and some shopping. Plenty of space, it never really felt overcrowded at all. Very aesthetic and great for taking pictures. Will definitely be adding this to our yearly traditions, this place is so much fun! The pumpkin patch was really cool if you just did that.

It looks like such a beautiful place to walk around and it's free! From tree carvings, wildflowers and historic tours. We came for the wonderful Sunday Farmer's Market and there were so many amazing vendors with so many yummy samples! My favorite was the Mediterranean Hummus vendor. So many selections to choose from! Because of the hummus purchase we had to book it out and get it home and chilled! They had fresh meat, eggs, breads, jellies, salsas, and of course tons of produce from different Utah produce farms. It's very busy and you may have to park in the neighborhood surrounding the farm on Sundays. It's quite popular!!!! I loved the old historic buildings some dating back to the early 1900's. There's plenty of animals to check out from horses, to cows, pigs, sheep, goats, roosters, peacocks and a sheep. There's a small country store onsite as well. They have tractor and wagon rides. Some of the most beautiful wood flowers growing, a small creek runs through the property and there are several trails which I look forward to exploring on our next trip. I'm also excited to watch a lesson on cow milking! It's truly a beautiful spot to visit, and if you are interested I'd suggest bringing a blanket and some lunch and sitting under the shady trees and enjoying the magnificent things this working farm has to offer.

I love taking our dogs to see the "exotic" animals. Behind the activity barn is garden entirely worked on by volunteers in the Master Gardener program. If you ever see them working be sure to share your thanks! There's also a long path that loops the property once you cross the bridge, it follows the stream and then hangs left.

We bought some sourdough, cookies, donuts, a cinnamon roll, and garlic knots. The vanilla cronut was soft and had great texture and sweetness! The cinnamon crumble donut had great flavor, sweet and moist! We warmed up the pumpkin cinnamon roll when we got home and it was rich in flavor. You get a subtle pumpkin flavor, but it was so delectable. The sourdough garlic knots were soft on the inside and had a nice garlic flavor, we warmed it up when we got home and paired it with some marinara and it was amazing! Definitely recommend going! I attempted to buy the Luxe Cool Season Collection online on the morning of November 1st--the day sales opened--but it was already sold out. Along with Luxe, the Summer Romance, Summer Fun, and Essentials Cool Season collections were also gone by then. Meanwhile, many single-variety packs remained available for weeks (even months) after the sale began. I completely understand demand being high, but it would be great if there were more availability for collections--or even additional collection options. Not everyone wants 72 of the same flower in their garden. I even emailed to ask if they'd be willing to put together a custom variety from what was still in stock, and was told no. I also attended the Cool Season Flower Sale in person this morning, arriving at 10:27 after parking blocks away. Unfortunately, the entire place was already wiped out. The line was massive, and everything was gone--despite the sale being advertised until 2 p.m. I was so disappointed, especially after putting in the effort to be there early. I love what Snuck Farms does, and I really appreciate the beauty and quality of their flowers. I just hope there might be some improvements to how collection sales and in-person events are managed in the future. It's disheartening to be excited and proactive, only to leave empty-handed both online and in person.
