We found a side street after getting some kolaches and it was an easy block walk to the park. There were a decent amount of vendors in the Park and they were also spread out enough so there was plenty of room to walk. Everything from fruits and vegetables, to food, fresh squeezed juices, products and fresh breads. We picked up a loaf of really fresh sourdough bread from Wandering Wheat. We also picked up some homemade jam from Jam It Up. A really fun way to spend the morning. It was early June so the weather was in the upper 60's in the morning. Perfect weather for us walking through the Farmers Market.

I got the Strawberry Matcha and it was delicious, not too sweet, and made with high-quality matcha. I also got a Cheesy Arepa from The Manjares. It was soooo good that I almost went back for a second one! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and probably the best Arepa I've ever had. Lastly, I got a focaccia from Dat Sour Dough. It was sweet, herby, and smelled incredible. There are some great vendors at this market! Worth the visit.

Covered benches are here to sit down and have dinner while enjoying the weather. Kelly and Jess from Carter's Family Farm are so personable with everyone. They carry a great variety of produce, including mixed greens from Snuck Farms. I've discovered Salsa Madre here and their salsas are truly wonderful. Really fresh and you can taste the quality! The honey man is also here, and his honey is really superb and we are repeat customers. We go every week and love the ambience here!

They say they are normally just at eagle mountain farmers market. And the cinnamon rolls were from a stand with sourdough bread, cookies, bagels and rolls! Sooo good! This lovely event has grown in size and popularity and it's been a fun transition to watch. You'll find fresh produce and local meat as well as artisan foods such as gluten free baked goods, locally sourced honey and unique salsas that rival anything you could buy in a store. I also love the kitschy artsy/craftsy stuff. It's fun to talk to the vendors-they are usually the people who make the goods themselves. Supporting local art and food is important to me...a few years ago I put a ton of effort into selling goods at events such as this, so they hold a special place in my heart. Be kind. These folks are doing something that they love and hoping to make a little money doing it. Consider supporting local rather than big box. I especially love that you won't find MLM type companies. Yes, I know those folks are also trying to earn some money. But I think Farmer's Markets should be reserved for local goods. I appreciate that the organizers of this market feel the same way. This year, it was nice to see how everyone adhered to the CDC guidelines and kept the market open, with accommodation for the virus. Great job, everyone!

It looks like such a beautiful place to walk around and it's free! From tree carvings, wildflowers and historic tours. We came for the wonderful Sunday Farmer's Market and there were so many amazing vendors with so many yummy samples! My favorite was the Mediterranean Hummus vendor. So many selections to choose from! Because of the hummus purchase we had to book it out and get it home and chilled! They had fresh meat, eggs, breads, jellies, salsas, and of course tons of produce from different Utah produce farms. It's very busy and you may have to park in the neighborhood surrounding the farm on Sundays. It's quite popular!!!! I loved the old historic buildings some dating back to the early 1900's. There's plenty of animals to check out from horses, to cows, pigs, sheep, goats, roosters, peacocks and a sheep. There's a small country store onsite as well. They have tractor and wagon rides. Some of the most beautiful wood flowers growing, a small creek runs through the property and there are several trails which I look forward to exploring on our next trip. I'm also excited to watch a lesson on cow milking! It's truly a beautiful spot to visit, and if you are interested I'd suggest bringing a blanket and some lunch and sitting under the shady trees and enjoying the magnificent things this working farm has to offer.

I love taking our dogs to see the "exotic" animals. Behind the activity barn is garden entirely worked on by volunteers in the Master Gardener program. If you ever see them working be sure to share your thanks! There's also a long path that loops the property once you cross the bridge, it follows the stream and then hangs left.

This one was almost all produce, with a few other things mixed in. We visited yesterday for the first time. There was an information booth giving away free masks if you didn't have one and they were playing music. I love music-it always adds to the mood. It would have been even cooler if it were live music. I'm sure there are some musicians in the community that would love to be showcased. The vendors themselves were pretty far apart from each other. I think that was due to social distancing-which I appreciate. However it does make it feel a little disjointed. But we do what we can with this 'new normal' stuff. Overall, the vibe here was a little weird. I'm not sure if that was due to the lack of people, the space between everyone or what. I think adding a few more vendors with a titch of variety (please, no MLMS) but maybe some handmade soaps or jewelry might add some more character. But if I'm looking for pure locally grown produce, this is a great place to get it!

I can't get enough of these small farmers markets that seem to be popping up all over the valley…read moreand state. The South Jordan Farmers Market is relatively new, but judging by this morning's crowd it's definitely a success. Lots of folks walking around checking out the fresh produce, prepared foods, and other local offerings. Vendors line the little "main street" area of the South Jordan Towne Center which is closed off to vehicles for the market. There are only a couple dozen booths--mostly produce with a few prepared food and plant sellers--so don't expect a huge variety. You can also duck into any of the shops there in the market; it's kind of a unique retail/farmers market partnership. Parking is a little tricky. There's plenty of it, but the layout of the shopping center gets things jammed up when you're close to the action. Better to just park across the lot and hoof it a couple hundred feet. I got there just after noon today and a lot of the growers had already sold the bulk of their harvest. I managed to get some good looking nectarines from a grower in Genola and took a chance on some early pears. I will say that prices here were a little lower than I've seen at a couple of the other local markets. The SoJo FM is open from late July to the end of October from 8am to 2pm each Saturday.

It was very organized, they had a great variety of pumpkins and they were priced well. Our kids chose 3 good size pumpkins and we only paid $13. We loved the little store! We bought some sourdough, cookies, donuts, a cinnamon roll, and garlic knots. The vanilla cronut was soft and had great texture and sweetness! The cinnamon crumble donut had great flavor, sweet and moist! We warmed up the pumpkin cinnamon roll when we got home and it was rich in flavor. You get a subtle pumpkin flavor, but it was so delectable. The sourdough garlic knots were soft on the inside and had a nice garlic flavor, we warmed it up when we got home and paired it with some marinara and it was amazing! Definitely recommend going! We loved it and so did our kids!

Their holiday shop is adorable with festive mugs, glasses, notepads, gift tags, and more They currently also have a tree lot outside and their Christmas trees are very fairly priced for their height We came during their holiday shop celebration and they showed off their event venue with hot cider, cronuts, donuts, and music. The dried flowers hanging from the loft are quite charming. Everyone was friendly including the two shop cats There are two parking lots including a smaller parking lot right in front of the shop and a larger overflow lot in front of the goats and small ponies. Recommend wearing boots or sturdy shoes and walking a little away from the fence to avoid the errant droppings. Lots of cute swings and benches for relaxing or photo ops and a fun festive environment. Totally recommend this local gem!
