the entrance to the pumpkin realm
Heather H.

The pumpkin patch was a good size (with a lot of variety), the employees were very nice, and there are plenty of things for children to do. However, I feel like the entrance price was way too steep. I also think they should have more people working at the pumpkin purchasing station (as the line was ridiculously slow and long), and some more food truck options (for the same reason), as well.

This is one of the best pumpkin patch around. It's not just a regular pumpkin patch, but they do have a fun section that kids can go in and play. It's definitely a family friendly fun place. For those who are instagrammers....this is a place you wouldn't want to skip. A wall filled with pumpkins. A field cover in pumpkins. Also different tents themed for pumpkins. Pumpkins here are surprisedly very nice and a lot beautiful specimens.

I enjoyed the spaciousness of the Kuwaharab Farms Pumpkin Parch. There were many options in sizes of pumpkins and in the evening they had haunted houses (which I did not attend). I loved the options for different picture taking/memory making moments. I highly recommend checking out this gem of a farm! They are also dog friendly too...that's a bonus!

a field full of pumpkins

I agree with another review about not being a place for toddlers. It's very small and not a lot to do unless you go into the thriller park. I've been previous years and this year seemed less organized and nice. The pumpkin were all thrown together, where years before they were organized in designated areas. The prices were decent, not too expensive. However, you have to pay $5 a person to get in. I think that is outrageous when there's nothing to do besides pick a pumpkin.

So, I just wanted to point out that this place have great customer survive and the employees are professional. Joni Answered all questions and is patient and kind. In terms of products that I ordered, which are four pallets of sod, it all came 5 a.m. in the morning and were freshly cut. I basically got what I ordered on Facebook and everything went smoothly. The price was more than fair, especially when everyone else are selling their pallets of sod for $300 to $450 per pallet of 500 square foot, but Kuwahara sold it $245 per pallet comes with free delivery so long as i ordered 2000 square feet which is 4 pallets. I was short on sod, but thats my fault for assuming that my back yard has the same square footage as the front. Never using my eyes as measuring tape again. All I know is that I am a happy customer.

Their Instagram is very deceiving. It's very over priced, dirty and smells like a dump. Big disappointment.

This one was almost all produce, with a few other things mixed in. We visited yesterday for the first time. There was an information booth giving away free masks if you didn't have one and they were playing music. I love music-it always adds to the mood. It would have been even cooler if it were live music. I'm sure there are some musicians in the community that would love to be showcased. The vendors themselves were pretty far apart from each other. I think that was due to social distancing-which I appreciate. However it does make it feel a little disjointed. But we do what we can with this 'new normal' stuff. Overall, the vibe here was a little weird. I'm not sure if that was due to the lack of people, the space between everyone or what. I think adding a few more vendors with a titch of variety (please, no MLMS) but maybe some handmade soaps or jewelry might add some more character. But if I'm looking for pure locally grown produce, this is a great place to get it!

The South Jordan Farmers Market is relatively new, but judging by this morning's crowd it's definitely a success. Lots of folks walking around checking out the fresh produce, prepared foods, and other local offerings. Vendors line the little "main street" area of the South Jordan Towne Center which is closed off to vehicles for the market. There are only a couple dozen booths--mostly produce with a few prepared food and plant sellers--so don't expect a huge variety. You can also duck into any of the shops there in the market; it's kind of a unique retail/farmers market partnership. Parking is a little tricky. There's plenty of it, but the layout of the shopping center gets things jammed up when you're close to the action. Better to just park across the lot and hoof it a couple hundred feet. I got there just after noon today and a lot of the growers had already sold the bulk of their harvest. I managed to get some good looking nectarines from a grower in Genola and took a chance on some early pears. I will say that prices here were a little lower than I've seen at a couple of the other local markets. The SoJo FM is open from late July to the end of October from 8am to 2pm each Saturday.

It was very organized, they had a great variety of pumpkins and they were priced well. Our kids chose 3 good size pumpkins and we only paid $13. We loved the little store! We bought some sourdough, cookies, donuts, a cinnamon roll, and garlic knots. The vanilla cronut was soft and had great texture and sweetness! The cinnamon crumble donut had great flavor, sweet and moist! We warmed up the pumpkin cinnamon roll when we got home and it was rich in flavor. You get a subtle pumpkin flavor, but it was so delectable. The sourdough garlic knots were soft on the inside and had a nice garlic flavor, we warmed it up when we got home and paired it with some marinara and it was amazing! Definitely recommend going! We loved it and so did our kids!

In addition to all the grocery goods indoors ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to coffee, honeycomb, meats, cheeses, and pastas, they also have soaps, lotions, balms, and other household items that are cute and functional. Their holiday shop is adorable with festive mugs, glasses, notepads, gift tags, and more They currently also have a tree lot outside and their Christmas trees are very fairly priced for their height We came during their holiday shop celebration and they showed off their event venue with hot cider, cronuts, donuts, and music. The dried flowers hanging from the loft are quite charming. Everyone was friendly including the two shop cats There are two parking lots including a smaller parking lot right in front of the shop and a larger overflow lot in front of the goats and small ponies. Recommend wearing boots or sturdy shoes and walking a little away from the fence to avoid the errant droppings. Lots of cute swings and benches for relaxing or photo ops and a fun festive environment. Totally recommend this local gem!

It was the perfect date night-an activity and a souvenir, and priced at $5 per person (plus supplies) I felt like it was a good deal. We arrived a few minutes early and saw other attendees lurking about, a little unsure on what to do. Eventually, we found our way to the back where there were tables setup and our instructor, ready to get hands dirty. The class itself was fun-Lucas showed us different plant options as well as items to put at the bottom of our containers to provide drainage. I would have loved to have had more time with him to learn more about the specific plants, what goes well together and how to best care for them when we got home. But there were at least 20 people there, all with questions, so we did our best and had a great time! While we were there, we also perused the other products-specifically the produce-so we could eat some fresh fruit while we planted. The selection was fresh, and we took home raspberries, nectarines and apples-as well as a bottle of raspberry jam. I didn't see a TON of larger plants or things for the yard-most of what I saw was on the smaller side. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm sure we will be back as we grow our collection of indoor plants.

Employees are very proud of their store and they are very helpful. The prices were surprisingly very reasonable and from what I could tell, not any more than what you would find in other stores. I thought that they would have jacked up the prices, particularly on the international items, but everything is priced reasonably. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good.
