We had a wonderful experience with Drapery and Blind Company!! They came to my 93 year old mother's house, carefully took down her curtains and valances, bought the back to their office to clean and then returned to rehang everything perfectly. The whole process was stress free. They were professional, courteous and did an excellent job. Her curtains look fantastic. (4 rooms of sheers, curtains and valances) The price was very fair for the amount of work they did and the convenience of not having to take everything down and rehang it was well worth it. We had some issues with three of our blinds (two electric, one manual, both Hunter Douglas and pretty old models), so we used the company to help repair them. These guys were great! Came exactly on time, totally transparent and communicative throughout the whole process, dealt with our apartment building's management in Hoboken. It turned out there were more issues than they originally had quoted us for, and they didn't increase the price. There were also some delays in getting parts from the manufacturer, and they kept us in the loop. Also the two electric blinds used AA battery packs, not plug-in or lithium batteries. The batteries they replaced them with were Duracell. They could have just put in cheap batteries, but they didn't. Great experience overall! read more

Be Careful...This company is a complete scam...The front man is a con artist. He portrays himself as only an agent of the company and a contractor. When in fact he is the owner. We hired them to clean our Blinds of a Black Soot that got into the blinds and could not be removed with soap and water. He claimed to have a special solution that would return the blinds to a "Like New" condition. So the condition was for these blinds to be returned without the Black soot, strictly. When he returned with our blinds the Black Soot was still there. 6 blinds were ruined with creases and tears. I immediately called scam and phoned the Police. The guy you see in the Mug shot with the long hair and glasses portrays himself merely as a contractor. He claimed this to the Police Officer as well. Said we were to call the office which is conveniently closed on the weekends with no way to log a complaint. On Monday of that next week I have attempted to get in touch with the "Owner" no one replies to phone calls or emails. His scam is to attack the customer and claim he is being scammed. Funny that, as he is the only one who has benefited with cash up front. I should have known better as he only would accept cash for a down payment..Why is that? Because you can get a CC refunded when scammed by the Scum out there. We will Sue this man for harassment, intimidation, robbery and misrepresentation. My blinds and drapes were in need of some TLC. I contacted the team at The Drapery and Blind Company and received a quote the same day, as well as scheduled an appointment. The installers came out and were extremely professional and friendly. They were able to install my new blinds and gave me temporary blinds to use while my drapes were being cleaned. We were not happy with the job that was done. We pointed out dirt on the shades to Mitch and he said he couldn't see it. They are better then sent, but still had dirt on them. We told him to take them back. Mitch said don't pay me and walked out. Paul called me and told me we are being turned over for collection because we refused to pay. If we could give zero stars we would. After moving into a new home with custom drapes I found this company who was very responsive to come to PA, pick up all the drapes, clean, return and rehang. Charge was close to $6000. Mitch arrived within a week to get drapes with promise to return within 2-4 weeks. We paid 50% of fee as required This was JULY 2022. After texting, calling, and waiting THREE months finally I received a pending delivery date. It was CANCELED the night prior. Again I continued to call, text and email and only after threatening legal action via email did I finally get a response with a delivery for the week of Thanksgiving! FOUR MONTHS LATER. All drapes were brought in and hung except the office drapes because the rod broke. Mitch said he'd take the rod and drapes back to the shop, repair the rod and return the drapes with a new rod within two weeks. We were very skeptical and we argued with Mitch that we couldn't trust his word because of the four month wait and multiple calls for the return of our drapes. I reluctantly agreed after agreeing to pay balance of work done except for $500. I received a call from Mitch two weeks later that he was having difficulty finding part to repair rod and would keep in touch. A second call stated the same with promise to follow up. December, January, February and now most of March has past without one call, any answer to multiple texts and voice mail messages to the business. I am out a beautiful pair of custom made drapes that I paid to be professionally cleaned. Replacing these drapes and rod will cost far more than $500! Reading other 1 star reviews below they described Mitch perfectly. Very engaging and convincing that your dissatisfaction is an isolated event due to circumstances in the company beyond control. Sadly my nature is to give someone the benefit of the doubt. My grave error was to agree to further have business with this most disreputable company and I should have cut my losses in November. They are dishonest and untrustworthy with the services offered. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and again was shafted. Because this is a medical facility he was more than willing to work with us to accommodate our needs so it would be done when we didn't have patients present. His work is excellent the curtains came out spotless. He rehung them very quickly and even repaired the broken track in one of the bays. I would recommend them to anyone.
