I was in search of a rooftop bar for the holiday and found Drawbar on Yelp. It's a fairly new establishment inside of the beautiful Bellyard Hotel in West Midtown. The views on the deck are one of the best, but I love getting a seat at the bar especially when my favorite bartender Ajay is behind the bar. She's the best! Whether you want something off the menu or one of her originals, you will not be disappointed when Ajay is your bartender. This was my first time visiting the Bellyard hotel and Drawbar located in the interlock space in westside. First let me start off by saying westside has always been a hot spot for shopping and dining so I already knew this would be another cool spot to add to my list! The interlock space is located in a prime location so finding the Bellyard was not so difficult. I pulled up at the parking garage and was greeted by security. He mentioned that you could park wherever and only needed to pay via park mobile...so convenient. After I parked the elevator took me right up to the lobby area. The Bellyard lobby is soooo aesthetically pleasing. The decor and art was hip and they even have a cute little mural wall outside to take instagram worthy pictures. Across from this section is a small Saint Germain bakery offering some of the prettiest desserts. Before heading into the bar area I stopped by the bathroom which was so moody and cute. Ok, so heading to the bar I noticed there was ample seating and a patio section which is always a plus especially when trying to social distance. There were about 2 people working the bar which I guess was appropriate for the amount of people visiting. Both Orlando and Salvador were on top of it and we did not have to wait to place our orders or receive our food and drink. I ordered the coca cola short rib toast and my friend ordered the miso glazed salmon. Both were delicious!! For my drink I ordered the When life gives you lemons which was presented beautifully. My friend order a glass of rose. Overall we found the staff to be attentive, the environment beautifully decorated and the location prime! I'd definitely be back again!! read more

I have been to Drawbar twice and had very mixed experiences. The first time, the service was outstanding. We were seated in their wonderful patio right away, and we were able to have our drinks while enjoying the view. Tried the 'when life gives you lemons' drink, the layered purple drink and it was delicious! drinks are about $14-$18, which is understandable because of the view. The second time at Drawbar was not all that great. The server brought our drinks over a whopping 45 minutes later. At one point I went inside to tell someone to bring our drinks over. the drinks seemed diluted as well. It was a strange experience as I have always heard such great reviews of Drawbar. I would still go back but not have that high of expectations. read more

After one visit I'm a fan of Drawbar for many reasons but one in particular...you can have a conversation without yelling. I have been to several restaurants/bars in Atlanta and it is has been so tough to truly enjoy your company without music blaring into your eardrums. Drawbar provides a nice, casual and relaxed atmosphere where you can have nice drinks, food and conversation. The night I went the outside area was closed due to the weather, but they have a very nice patio with beautiful views of Atlanta. To eat I ordered the Bellyard burger and fries. Both were tasty. To drink I had a Bellyard Bound. The taste was good but I could have lived without battling the seeds in my drink. I'm also a fan of the seating arrangements here. There is a bar area, table and chairs for varying group sizes and also couches. I love the seating options and how each area lends itself to a different use. read more

Subpar service with poor drink quality and high prices. Came in on a Wednesday night and asked for a Carajillo. Bartender obviously didn't know what to make and the manager came over. First attempt was awful, second round was better but not good. We were here for one round that totaled $70.50 before tip. Our server scoffed at us when we refused the first round and we ended up getting our drinks after at least 30 minutes. I'm usually a big fan of this bar, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Came here requesting an atypical drink, but expected at least some service. Nice ambience and descent drinks but my chicken was raw. They took it back without any issues but I shouldn't had been served raw chicken smh. They let me order something else but otherwise that was it. I feel like I should have been offered further accommodations for almost eating raw chicken but no one asked. I've been to drawbar a few times and the vibes are great. The bartenders are friendly and the servers super attentive. Be very selective in your cocktail because they are all very different. I have gotten the espresso martini in the past and they've been delicious but this time around, not good at all. The food is good and rest of the drinks are great. The servers are just so accommodating and it's why I'll come back because most cocktails are delicious. Just don't get the espresso martinis if they look like this one. read more

The view is decent and the drinks were great. I drank the schoolboy bully with mild spice. The deviled egg were pretty basic but the frites and zucchini chips were delicious. When you first walk in, you are not greeted by anyone. You literally walk up and sit anywhere you like. If there's nowhere available, you stand or go to the bar. Outdoor seating is mostly full and crowded so you have to keep an eye on available seats. Our waitress was not very friendly but our drinks were so good! We didn't have much appetite but we did sample the burger samplers and they were delicious. The place is beautiful with gorgeous views, inside and outside. If it's rained or is raining, one of the two outdoor seating areas will be unavailable. However, the other outdoor seating area is covered. Everyone seems unfriendly at first glance but once you start talking to them, everyone is super nice. This is a great place to meet new friends, since seating sometimes requires you to join other people's tables. The place was crowded the entire time and it is a very loud environment, which we didn't mind, since that's Atlanta for yah! This was the besties and I first time here at the Drawbar and it was quite exciting. I don't know if it was the private event that was going on or that the Atlanta Braves had just won the World Series but you could definitely feel the excitement in the Drawbar. This establishment is inside the beautiful Bellyard hotel, which is a new Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel. The Drawbar prides itself on its service, food, and last but certainly not least, it's signature cocktails. Let me tell you, the three did not disappoint. I'm a huge fan of the Marriott brand and the Drawbar came highly recommended. With the husbae out of town, the bestie filled right on in. When we arrived at the hotel, parking was readily available and the Drawbar was a hop on the elevator to the 2nd level. The scene is open and airy, with community feel. There were couches if you wanted sit back and relax and people watch or community tables so you could get to know your fellow Atlantans. There is also a pretty expansive bar. It's definitely a whole vibe. On this night, the private event (I'm not sure the name) was hosted by Atlanta Eats, and featured Steak Shapiro and V103. The bestie and I were there to eat and try some great signature cocktails. I had the Electric Earth (tequila based) and the bestie had the When Life Gives You Lemons (gin based). Hers was strong and mine was perfect. We had the corn-crawfish hush puppies and garlic aioli frites. I enjoyed both but the bestie was on the fence about the hush puppies. She said she was expecting more crawfish (more for me ). For our meals, I had the jerk grilled mahi and she had the burger (I know, booooring ). The mahi was good but really lacked that jerk kick. This was my first time visiting and I had a great time. The ambiance was so relaxing. We went during happy hour so we ordered a couple of drinks and they were pretty good. I ordered the mussels- I'd give it an 8/10. I also ordered their steak. The steak was so good and cooked at the perfect temperature! 10/10. I also ordered The School Boy. It had agave syrup in it which I loved. It was pretty strong but it was sweet! My friends ordered sliders and fried shrimp. They killed both! read more

10/10 atmosphere and vibe. The space is chic and classy and so open. The crowd is a nice mix, and it's a nice place to get dressed up and have dinner with your friends, or meet for happy hour after a work day. The entrance is a little tricky because it's inside the Bellyard Hotel. But that's also why is cool because they are a couple of other attractions you can go do as well. We got there early just to enjoy breakfast and mimosas. I truly enjoyed my breakfast and all the options they had especially since I have been working hard on my meal plans and healthier eating. Minus the alcohol...but it's my birthday and I CELEBRATE LOL. I treated myself to the "Treat yourself bowl" and it was delicious! It also gave me another go to meal that I can make for myself at home. My bestie had the "bacon sausage omelet with a side of crispy potatoes and the potatoes were awesome. Ambience was great clean and relaxing. Our waitress Liliana was on point handling our every need. Even offering to make our mimosas before the bartender arrived at 11. Like I said we got the party started early and no judgement on site lol. Bathrooms were clean everyone was friendly. Full and stocked bar! A little breezy on the outside deck so we dined inside. Service was nice, but slow on a busy-ish Mother's Day brunch - which wasn't ideal as we had flights to catch. Drawbar is nice rooftop for a cute date night or a nice girls night out. This would be a good place to hit before Puttshack because it's in the same building. The view of the city is so pretty. I wasn't impressed with the food or my drink. The fries were a bit salty and the burgers were alright. Nothing else on the menu appealed to me. The menu is very small so I would suggest eating before or after. I like "sweet" drinks and the waiter stated that the "I like your style" was the sweetest drink on the menu. It wasn't sweet to me, but the drink was definitely fixable. Lol Clearly I'm not a drinker so my opinion is biased. The view and the ambiance is what I would come for. Drawbar is a nice place, more hip and trendy if anything. It's more a place to be "seen." People linger for a while. The rooftop bar was packed and not as a big or impressive as I would have imagined. The view is so-so in my opinion. The drinks are good and expect to pay a premium price for them depending on what you get. The inside can get pretty noise and the acoustics are horrible if the place is packed or you are hard of hearing. The service as amicable, but spotty at times. It could have been more polished and attentive. Not major concerns, but I assume it's hard to find people due to the pandemic. Honestly almost did not want to review this place as this is one of my favorite spots and didn't want to see it get crowded! The food is delicious, the vibes of the hotel it is in are fantastic, and there's also cafes downstairs, a puttshack for some reason, and other things in that little area to do. The inside is also classy and beautiful. It's one of the very few spot in Atlanta where you can arrive without a reservation on the Friday, and it'll probably be fine as most people peruse the area and don't lounge for long. My only complaint is that service can be pretty slow, but as I don't believe it is a full fledged restaurant, it is passable. read more
