The Worst Bar Experience We've Had in Atlanta We visited this place with a group of friends for drinks and food, but from the moment we arrived, it failed to live up to the hype. The restaurant enforces a two-hour table limit, yet it took nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Even after ordering, basic service was lacking. We weren't given enough plates, and no cutlery was provided. We repeatedly had to track down our waitress just to get the essentials. The food was probably the only positive aspect of the visit, although it was average at best. What was most disappointing was the way one of the staff members (their DJ) spoke to my friend when she was trying to take her child to the restroom. The interaction was unnecessarily rude and left a very negative impression. I've visited hundreds of restaurants and bars around Atlanta and have never experienced such poor service. Between the disorganized staff, lack of basic hospitality, and rude treatment of customers, this is not a place I would recommend. I will not be returning.

Great atmosphere that continues to please..... I tried the fried green tomatoes that were tasty however I was not pleased with the wilted arugula that was with it. I also had a chocolate martini that was missing the coffee beans as a garnish. Also while sitting at the bar you never know who you might run into. So Jason Weaver the actor from The CHI sat next to me for some invigorating conversation.

We reserved the outdoor dining space for $150, because apparently ambiance now comes with a cover charge for a bachelor party weekend. The expectation? Good energy, solid food, memorable vibes. What we received instead felt like a live-action social experiment in delayed gratification... without the reward. We were seated at 8:20 PM. Our food arrived at 10:10 PM. Now, I'm no stranger to anticipation. I've waited on big moments in life. But waiting nearly two hours for dinner while watching your drinks slowly dissolve into flavored water? That's not anticipation. That's character development nobody asked for. Speaking of drinks, by the time they reached us, the ice had completed its full life cycle. What we ordered as cocktails arrived as philosophical statements on impermanence. Appetizers? They made a bold artistic choice to arrive after the entrees... or not at all. Still unclear. At some point, hunger turned into confusion, and confusion turned into negotiation. We politely asked: if we leave, how do we get our deposit back? The answer was reasonable, refund granted, just pay for the drinks (the same drinks that had been aging like disappointment at the bar). And then, miraculously, our food appeared. Instantly. As if our request to leave activated a hidden "Oh wow, they're serious" button in the kitchen. Unfortunately, by then, hunger had left the chat. One guest ordered a well-done burger. It arrived... with ambition, but not completion, it was basically rare. Another ordered a salad, which made a brief cameo on the bill but never in real life. Hydration? We received one water refill over the course of nearly two hours. I've had plants with better watering schedules. Now, I will say this: our server was kind. Genuinely. But kindness alone can't carry an entire operation. We saw her once every thirty minutes or so, and it wasn't packed! And just when we thought the night had delivered its final punchline, a roach casually emerged from beneath the table, as if to personally thank us for dining there... and possibly to continue the evening with us elsewhere. Bold. Memorable. Uninvited. This wasn't just dinner. It was an experience. Not the one we paid for, but certainly one we won't forget. Would I return? Let's just say... I believe in second chances. Just not here.

Me and some friends went to the Drawbar on Sat 3-21-2026. Location: West Midtown inside Bellyard Hotel Parking: Park inside Bellyard Hotel or valet Rooftop restaurant + bar. Midtown. Bar. Patio. Vibes. Let's go! Okay, this was Tuesday evening so more like the after-work crowd. But the bartenders were welcoming and offered us to sit at the bar or one of the sofa sections. We opted for the sofa then ordered drinks and appetizers. The spicy options were calling us so the deviled eggs and spicy shrimp were a must. To drink - the Bulltibi and Lychee Martini. The food came out quickly and was plated nicely. The taste was equally on par and hit the spot. Be sure to use any Marriott credits or vouchers at the bar. Also, ask for under validation code to cover your parking. I look forward to returning for the busy Spring and Summer events coming up!

The food was amazing. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp. The pasta and the wings were very good. I give this a 10/10. The food and service were very good. Definitely try the drinks, ask about the most popular one that comes with a shot. The ambience of Atlanta is breathtaking!!!

My friends and I wanted to enjoy a Sunday dinner after playing at putt shack. We were sitting inside because the heater on the patio wasn't turned on. We were greeted by a wonderful server and he made some delicious suggestions for cocktails and dinner. I ordered the Pornstar Martini and the classic cheeseburger with fries and everything was fresh.

My sorority sisters and I met here on a Wednesday evening, it was hands down one of the best meals/dining experiences I had while in town. The customer service yielded by Tasneem, patio atmosphere, and food was absolutely perfect! I had a wonderful time, and highly recommend!

Who doesn't love a great drink in a cool atmosphere surrounded by great-looking people? If that's your vibe, Drawbar is the spot. I visited a few times while staying at the Bellyard Hotel, and it never disappointed. It draws in both hotel guests and local residents, which gives it a fun, lively mix. The ambiance is sleek and stylish, perfect for a night out or a casual hang. The drinks? Strong--just how I like them! They also serve food if you're hungry. One morning, I even enjoyed breakfast with my Baileys and coffee, which was a nice touch. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. It wasn't bad, but the staff wasn't very attentive--probably just busy. That said, everyone I interacted with was friendly. Overall, Drawbar is a solid go-to for good drinks, good vibes, and a good time.

You have to worry about validating because they do validate so just keep that in mind. You'll park in the structure and then walk over to the restaurant but at that point you'll be able to get a validation code. Validation code will get something sent to your phone and you'll use it to negate the parking. Coming in the service was pretty good. Last time I went in it was actually pretty quiet and nobody was there so I got all the servers and bartenders to myself lol. But seriously everybody was super nice and really friendly and explained the menu very well and no complaints about that See you space cowboy - This was a pretty good and very balanced drink. I wanted something with bourbon in it so this is what I came up with from looking at the menu. Pretty solid and not overpowering at all. Salt and pepper shrimp - the salt and pepper shrimp was the star of the show to me as far as the appetizers that I had. It came with five of them but I could probably have eaten 25 of those joints. They were amazing. Out of the appetizers that I had, they were the best ones and they actually came pretty large. It's not like you got little baby shrimp. These were impactful, powerful shrimp that packed a heck of a flavor. I would 200% get these again and maybe I might get three orders of them by myself lol. Soft shell crab - the crab was good but the crab itself was only okay but the sauce in the bowl of the crab actually carried it. It's not a bad thing, but at the same time by itself it was only okay but the sauce definitely added a little extra to it. Grilled Octopus - the octopus was pretty good but at the same time it was a little more chewy than I would've liked it to be. It wasn't impossibly chewy. It was actually still pretty good. The thing that made the octopus actually pop was the sauce that came with it. The sauce was like a chili-lime sauce and that actually carried the dish itself. Without that it would've just been okay but the sauce definitely helped. The sauce went well with a couple of things actually . But I'll still order doctors again. It was actually pretty decent. Bangkok Hot fries - the fries are actually good. They had a a spice to them. That was a kick in the face but also citrusy as well. So you got a little bit of heat and citrus at the same time. They came out really good. Hot fresh and that would have been really good on a burger LOL Overall, it smells pretty good if you want small plates. This is a spot to go to now. They do have regular and large size portions, but that's not this place's bag, which is okay. If you're in the business of just trying a bunch of stuff, this is a good spot to go to because they actually have a combo where you can get a few things off of the small place menu to try and share. This is a good spot if you just want to stop in somewhere to try a few Asian dishes.

The rooftop bar was extremely busy so we got drinks in the lobby. The service on the rooftop and lobby bar was over extended. They needed more staff to support the crowd. Eventually we ordered food as it seemed more staff came in to help. We shared chicken wings and the flat bread pizza. The wings were a good size and come with potatoes. More like breakfast potatoes, not fries. They were rather salty and not very good. The flat bread pizza was tasty. Their menu included other starters, sandwiches, salads and desserts. We had cocktails - old fashioned, vodka and cranberry, and a Moscow mule. Good size and tasty. Overall, the band - The DJ Wright Band and DJ Eclazz were why we came! Definitely check this spot out.

That said, I also take some responsibility for not asking more questions before ordering. Despite the service, my girlfriends and I still managed to have a great time, and that says a lot.
