Dishonest. They are out to make a quick buck selling unsafe vehicles. They sold me a truck that had…read moresafety concerns with the brakes and transmission. My husband called them with the concerns and was met with "sold as is"....later we paid to fix one of the safety issues, I called and spoke with a woman who said she would leave a message for Kevin to get back to me, he never got back to me and he blocked my phone number from calling them! I emailed and got no response, then they blocked my email address after I sent a single email regarding my concerns. They had thier own mechanic then finally fix my brakes (I got ahold of them with a different phone number) ...the mechanic was rude on the phone and said he was mad he had to fix someone else's issue (meaning the dealerships problem) ....he didn't even give me a service record and told me that goes to Kevin since he paid. I have a report from another mechanic that the brakes were metal to metal, it was also severely shaking while braking, and the mechanic the dealership uses (My Mechanic in chesterfield) sent a photo to me and made sure to tell me he sent one to Kevin, of a brake pad that was off a vehicle, claiming it was mine and had life left, I asked for a photo of the rotor condition and was told that he did. Ot take a photo of the rotors.....I also asked the dealership for a copy of the pre inspection report, they took 2 days to get this to me and when they did it was a report by the same mechanic, and was made up and false, it was also not dated....not to mention the vehicle was misrepresented as having heated seats which it does not. They now have thier attorney reaching out to me, if that doesnt say "Im guilty and trying to do damage control/control the narrative early." Then I dont know what does. Not to mention besides the safety issues and misrepresentation, the staff is so rude if they already made the sale and dont want to be bothered. I was laughed at and disrespected by office manager Ashlyn for just asking to speak with Kevin and eventually saying I would have to come up there to speak with him if she wouldn't allow me to, she had told me Kevin said the owner would deal with it, I asked to speak to Kevin several times and she kept repeating "he will just tell you what i told you" I have a feeling Kevin told her not to transfer me. So instead she laughed at me, was rude, refused to transfer me until ibrepeated myself calmly about 10 times, then said "fine whatever" and sent me to his phone.

I was all set to purchase a car for $17,900- cash sale. When asked what the total cost was, I was…read moretold "$21,400 out the door," which is $3,500 over sales price (huh?). Tax on $17,900 is $1,076, plus another $300 for document fee, which is roughly $19,254. Then they wanted to tack on a "$995 dealer fee." Funny how the dealer fee wasn't mentioned until I was ready to purchase the car. Anyway, the numbers still don't add up because all that equals $20,249, not the "$21,400 out the door" price that I was quoted. Sorry, J Rus. I will buy a car for $21,400, just not from you.

Buyer BEWARE! Never have I dealt with such unprofessionalism. This dealership has the WORST…read morecustomer service. They do not return texts, emails, or phone calls in a timely manner, or at all. I believe they knowingly sold me a vehicle with both an oil and coolant leak because the extended warranty, which I also purchased through them, stated it was a preexisting condition that could not have occurred within the five weeks I owned the car. The warranty company said the oil buildup had been there for an extended period of time. My bill was for $5,476.20. The extended warranty only covered $721.07. Tim Thompson, the owner of the dealership, agreed to pay me a little less than half of what I had to pay out of pocket. I signed a good will agreement on July 19, 2023 and I still have not received the payment he promised me. I have been texting, emailing, calling and leaving messages almost daily since the end of July. I received one text saying a check was mailed in a plain white envelope with my name on it. I texted back that I never received it and that they could check their bank statement to verify that it was never cashed and I would appreciate them reissuing one. It is now September 30th and after texting, emailing, calling and leaving countless messages, I still have not received a reply. I am completely disgusted with their lack of professionalism. On the CarNova website it states, "exceptional customer care," "dedicated to the needs of our customers first," "we listen to our customers," "we want to earn your trust," "our customers come first-Always." I have not seen any of this. I caution you to think twice before doing any business with Tim Thompson and the CarNova dealership in Shelby Township, Michigan.

The whole car was all rust underneath. My daughter's car the same. All rotted out they hide it very well. Big scammers don't buy anything here you will end up dumping thousands just to make sure your car is safe. They should actually be reported to the better business bureau

Before we know it- he tells me that they're offering to bring it out to our house that evening (2hrs away). This sounds nice except- they wanted to charge $500 delivery.. and wanted to bring it only after dark. They brought it for free... after dark... which makes sense. They preyed on my fiance. We paid $20,000 for a vehicle that's air conditioning only blows hot air. We took it to a shop hoping the air conditioning just needed recharged (still bs) but come to find out- we were sold a LIE. This vehicle has been in more accidents than disclosed which is made evident by the smashed, leaking radiator and a/c condenser - reason for no a/c and the new hood that was put on (that doesn't match the vehicle.. they didn't even hook up the windshield wiper fluid because it doesn't match!). For the vehicle we bought for $20k just a few months ago- we will have to pay thousands to have the air working. AVOID this place at all costs!!!!
