I was all set to purchase a car for $17,900- cash sale. When asked what the total cost was, I was…read moretold "$21,400 out the door," which is $3,500 over sales price (huh?). Tax on $17,900 is $1,076, plus another $300 for document fee, which is roughly $19,254. Then they wanted to tack on a "$995 dealer fee." Funny how the dealer fee wasn't mentioned until I was ready to purchase the car. Anyway, the numbers still don't add up because all that equals $20,249, not the "$21,400 out the door" price that I was quoted. Sorry, J Rus. I will buy a car for $21,400, just not from you.

Dishonest. They are out to make a quick buck selling unsafe vehicles. They sold me a truck that had…read moresafety concerns with the brakes and transmission. My husband called them with the concerns and was met with "sold as is"....later we paid to fix one of the safety issues, I called and spoke with a woman who said she would leave a message for Kevin to get back to me, he never got back to me and he blocked my phone number from calling them! I emailed and got no response, then they blocked my email address after I sent a single email regarding my concerns. They had thier own mechanic then finally fix my brakes (I got ahold of them with a different phone number) ...the mechanic was rude on the phone and said he was mad he had to fix someone else's issue (meaning the dealerships problem) ....he didn't even give me a service record and told me that goes to Kevin since he paid. I have a report from another mechanic that the brakes were metal to metal, it was also severely shaking while braking, and the mechanic the dealership uses (My Mechanic in chesterfield) sent a photo to me and made sure to tell me he sent one to Kevin, of a brake pad that was off a vehicle, claiming it was mine and had life left, I asked for a photo of the rotor condition and was told that he did. Ot take a photo of the rotors.....I also asked the dealership for a copy of the pre inspection report, they took 2 days to get this to me and when they did it was a report by the same mechanic, and was made up and false, it was also not dated....not to mention the vehicle was misrepresented as having heated seats which it does not. They now have thier attorney reaching out to me, if that doesnt say "Im guilty and trying to do damage control/control the narrative early." Then I dont know what does. Not to mention besides the safety issues and misrepresentation, the staff is so rude if they already made the sale and dont want to be bothered. I was laughed at and disrespected by office manager Ashlyn for just asking to speak with Kevin and eventually saying I would have to come up there to speak with him if she wouldn't allow me to, she had told me Kevin said the owner would deal with it, I asked to speak to Kevin several times and she kept repeating "he will just tell you what i told you" I have a feeling Kevin told her not to transfer me. So instead she laughed at me, was rude, refused to transfer me until ibrepeated myself calmly about 10 times, then said "fine whatever" and sent me to his phone.

We first encountered Pete a decade ago when we were shopping for a minivan, and he showed us one that was perfect for our needs. We drove it for years! The next vehicle we purchased from Pete was a 2000 Ford Focus, for our 93 year old mother. She loved it, and drove it until she stopped driving, and then we sold it to her caregiver who continued to drive it. This time around, we're picking up a 2009 Nissan Quest minivan for our second car and can't wait to get it into our driveway! Pete is very honest and straightforward about his inventory, and he goes over each vehicle before putting it on the lot, to make sure that it is safe and in excellent operating condition. He's also very fair about pricing, whether you love to haggle or not. He's been doing this for 17 years, and he enjoys putting people into cars and trucks. So, if you're looking for a decent used vehicle, and you don't have an awful lot of money, you owe it to yourself to come to Pete Z's Affordable Cars on Groesbeck (just north of Cass) and look at the fine selection of vehicles he has available. You won't be sorry!

Reached out to them via Facebook and spoke to Sam. Although responsive with decent customer service, these people knowingly sold me a car with a bad engine and oil leaks. I put over $4500 down and that was the end March 2026. Since, then I have had oil stains in my driveway, the car over heats and I have had to purchase multiple bottles of antifreeze due to a faulty reservoir and tubing. THREE MONTHS LATER, I am driving on the highway with my kids and the car overheated. After cooling down and adding antifreeze, the car NEVER STARTED. Had it towed to a shop, where the mechanic who has been in business longer than I have been alive stated that the car is no longer drive-able, unless I purchased a NEW MOTOR. He stated that looking at the oil build up internally from the leakage, that the problem had clearly existed BEFORE I PURHASED THE CAR. They sold me the car as is and with no warranty. They also ran the numbers back on the motor to sell it at lower mileage. I am now looking a repair job at the same cost as the down payment on a car that I have only had for 3 MONTHS, THAT I CAN NOT DRIVE WITH A CAR NOTE. They also sold me the vehicle under the guise of Michigan Premier Automotive Group, when it was an extension dealer called BIG JAYS AUTO SALES. They also asked me to drive to their other dealership, with no gas in the newly purchased car to take a photo in front of the BIG JAYS AUTO SALE Also, the car had an awful odor on the inside, they put no effort into making it presentable for purchase. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of a hard working, single mother of two. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.
