It takes awhile for the server to come assist you, especially ordering drinks. Half our table got drinks and finished before the other got to order. The drinks took awhile to come out and came at different times and were inconsistent with taste and garnish. They never collected any empty glasses when they came with new drinks. So our table was cluttered. This is not good when your table is already cramped. When we were ordering the food the server kept trying to pressure us to order more (either two of the same dish or more food). Unfortunately we listened and got two of the mussel with fries. The assembly of this dish was not great. They put a glob of mayo on top of the mussels...then fries under with a TON of not so great broth. The fries get sooooo soggy and dipping it becomes a nightmare when you start eating the mussels. The mussels also weren't that great. It wasn't necessarily fishy but almost tasted old or left out. I would not recommend this dish. The Brussels sprouts were horrendous and EXTREMELY salty. It was drenched in this buffalo tasting vinaigrette. The entire party hated this. As for the chicken, it was alright. The hot sauce wasn't great so I ate it alone. The biscuit was tough and hard to rip apart. It didn't have that flakey texture. The slaw was a miss from just looking at it. My favorite thing out of it all was the Mac and cheese. Not dry, had good amount of salt. Oh, and if you want to order the side of carrots, I'm not sure 2 slices is worth the amount they charge. The menu is also limited compared to what was offered before.

(This is where you the reader involuntarily snap your fingers) Yes, the decor is quirky and fun and worthy of exploring fully. The food is very pub fare with a great Prime rib special on Fridays and Saturdays. The wyfe had the prime rib and found it a bit grisly but tasted good even having to spit out bits on gristle onto her plate. I had the Steak Sandwich. Was very tasty including all the grease that dribbled down my chin. I was told it was made from leftover prime rib and one could tell it was a higher quality meat. And the 200+ beers is wonderful, all reasonably priced which was great in an era when many places are starting to price their beers $10+. I will want to the cocktails. Interestingly the bar is very high making the patrons look very short and/or heads on a long board. Did I mention the ooky vibe? Adding to the experience is the drive to get there. Lots of very windy roads with drop offs and spooky trees (did they plan that?). I found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful which contrasted to some of the reviews citing rude and vulgar behavior. Perhaps that is something I could have asked for that would underscore the true dive experience. The town is cool and quirky too. Definitely worth a look

Seems the host mentioned them having a patio/ outdoor area ... We agreed that would be a nice experience... Made it to the patio as we noticed a band setting up ... Lo and behold it was a Steely Dan Tribute Band scheduled to play .... Our waitress greeted us with beverage service as that being the norm ... Eventually she mentioned there would be a $5 per person charge for the purpose of being entertained by the band performing .... The issue is this .... It hadn't been e They say is outside in the patio to eat . And unclear situation occurred . We had a party of 5 ... I believe the grand estimate total we spent was about $150 and some change not sure including the tip and the $5 per person charged. By the third call, I had parked in front of the restaurant because I wanted to see what was happening. Fortunately, a different employee's voice answered the phone and was very polite, professional, and took my order without any issues. Other than that the service was amazing. Friendly people. Ambiance-Is laid back small hole in the wall type of vibe. Customers are chill. Had a good conversation with some Young OG's and OG's about who better Kobe or LeBron. Of course I picked Kobe and the Young G's picked LeBron. Food-The burgers use to are still fire. The cheese burger fries and soda is still my favorite. $12.20 out the door. Freshly grounded homemade beef patties at that. They no longer salt your fries. You have to do that yourself with the salt packets that's near the left side of the cashier. I'd suggest just get the burgers. Fries are not really worth it and this coming from a man who love a good French fry. But the meal combo is definitely consumer friendly considering. Though This place not the same as it once was. I remember I use to love this place when they were on Springs Road. It's still good but you can tell the Cooks or upper management have changed things. Overall it's a good place for a burger.
