Goat cheese salad with fried chicken, brownie and cookies
    Michael B.

Excellent food! Quality, taste, presentation! They take pride in everything they put out and have a diverse menu from pasta to ceviche, to Mexican. All of it good and good service too. My faves are the chicken enchiladas verde (3), goat cheese salad with or without Frilled or fried chicken served with homemade bread. Their fish n chips feature a long generous breaded filet with perfect fries. Finish off with the best brownies or chocolate chip cookies you'll find. The establishment is no frills but comfortable, located on Pomona St. next to the gas station. I'm new to Crockett and this is my go to place. Try it, I guarantee you'll like it!

I still love this place. I've explored other foods. The Blue Burger was great but there was just a bit of blue cheese. I love blue so I could have definitely used more!! Michilada (sp?) was good, toppings were meh but it did the job. Ate outside where the sun was shining.

A charming little place with lots of choices on the menu . We did not try the Mexican food as we were not in the mood but we were happy they had more creative dishes ! My husband loved the seafood pasta which had a nice variety of seafood and a good quantity as well . I ordered fish and chips and the fish was excellent and a big piece too. We will definitely go back to try something else!!

The burger is amazing! The garlic fries delicious! When in Crockett, I love going here for a bite! The food never disappoints.

    Asada Street Tacos

First time eating there after hearing so many recommendations. I ordered the Asada Tacos and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. Service was excellent and quick. Cute little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

What a lovely find on our over night adventure. We needed something to fuel our upcoming hike so this is where we ended up On the way out to the George Miller Trail. We ordered the 1/3 lb burger with clam chowder and the Philly cheese Sammy with garlic fries. Food came quickly and was piping hot. The lady who took our order brought the food out to our table. Everything was delish. The clam chowder was my favorite, made in house, and full of flavor. My husband loved his Philly. The baguette it was served on was fantastic. The portion of fries was very large. The dining room is cozy with many extra table on their patio. The lack of a star comes from a lack of Parking. Sadly, no parking lot and very limited street parking. Worth it to try and find yourself a spot!

OMG the seafood is great here, the Cioppino is Amazing. The Fish and Chips are a very generous portion. He has American, Italian and Mexican food and does all very good and tasty!

10/10 Amazing! Sensational! I had the BEST Cajun pasta & cioppino ever! Do not let the location of this place fool you, I was not expecting the food to be this amazing!! Place looks like a hole in the wall, yet food menu is filled with endless options! From burgers to seafood to pasta to tacos, I am impressed!! Service was great as well & food came out piping hot. I will be coming back and exploring more of their menu.

The only times I'm ever in Crockett is if I feel like hiking in either Crockett Hills (rare lately after a dog attacked me) or Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline (often because I can grab a cocktail at the Warehouse in Port Costa). Regardless I usually find myself driving past the town center except this time I decided to make a stop at this cafe that I last recall was a friendly taqueria named Judy's Place. That was a couple of years ago. Now it's become a kinda hybrid diner/burger/pasta place which certainly makes for a unique menu. I've stopped by a couple of times, and I have to admit the food fell a bit short each time. On my first visit, I tried the $13.99 Big Blue Wedge Salad, which was indeed a big plate with plenty of iceberg lettuce, crumbled blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, chopped green onion, and bacon bits. I just found the blue cheese too excessive for my taste (photo: https://yelp.to/9-Gsba6eSO). I came back a few months later and was in a pasta mood. I decided to order the $19.99 Pasta Primavera with Chicken. The requisite vegetables were present - bits of broccoli, shards of zucchini, sliced mushrooms - as well as plentiful Parmesan shavings. The problem for me was the unexpected addition of a cream sauce which just struck me as an unnecessarily calorific choice (photo: https://yelp.to/kC7ozKSjGL). The $12.99 Caesar Salad turned out to be a better option for me because surprisingly it was underdressed (photo: https://yelp.to/4lrEAUZ90q). According to their menu, they offer burgers, tacos, chicken tenders, calamari, nachos, tuna melts, even a fresh mozzarella sando. I might come back and give something else a try. I also have to share that I didn't feel the service was terribly warm, at least compared with Judy and her tacos. FOOD - 3 stars...hearty plates hamstrung by slight missteps AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...still a small space, seating felt limited SERVICE - 3 stars...fitful TOTAL - 3 stars...not quite the comfort food I was looking for RELATED - Exploring this part of Contra Costa County? Excellent Food Ample. Portions Good Service Interesting Selections Try them and you will be rewarded with a wonderful meal.

Crockett Cocina is the go to restaurant for our customers when they come to town. They serve Italian dishes, great burgers and sandwiches along with great Mexican food. They cater all the receptions for the Epperson Gallery.

This still is a really good place but seriously for the love of God if you're going to put mangoes in coleslaw, please say so. They looked like carrots.

We ordered many sandwiches for a party, and they tasted amazing. My dad went in not long after the part to redeem his free sandwich and they said they were not able to give it as promised. This was a let down considering we used them for catering and then the promise of 1 free sandwich would not be honored. The issue is not the price of a sandwich but the lack of follow thru and the way the issue was handled. More recently I DoorDashed a Mesquite Turkey sandwich from then 30 min to closing. The sandwich was really good. TLDR: sandwiches are good, and perhaps we had a communication or customer relations issue.
