They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. One was unavailable for 2 weeks (with major rain predicted), one came in with a higher price, and Dan Parks Home Improvement came in with a more reasonable price. I found this company to be reputable, and they were also willing to work on the weekend to get things finished before the weather turned rainy again. I was happy with the quality of the work, the timeframe for completion, and the price. After they completed this work, I hired them to do some other repairs, including work on the chimney (which I already knew I was going to have to do eventually) and repairs to gutters with installation of gutter covers (another project I had been considering). Edit for follow-up: This company also spoke to my insurance adjuster and helped me get approval to proceed with repair without waiting. The insurance adjuster visited this morning, inspected the roof, and approved the claim in full (no adjustment except for the deductible).

I have seen the name Calderon Contractors for years, and roofing is one of the many things they do. So I went ahead and reached out, using the quote service here on Yelp. Elmer, the owner, reached out relatively quickly. I didn't get to meet him, but he was my main point of contact. First visit to my house was from a guy named Hector, and was very kind, professional, and I described what the issue was and he had a look for himself. After his visit, it wasn't long before Elmer reached out with a quote, and we moved forward. Hector ended up being the one to do all the work, and it was efficient.
