Before I go into full detail on this review, I personally wanted to give mad props and a shoutout to the young male employee that worked effortlessly all by himself on a busy Saturday afternoon. This takes me "Dream Ice Cream Parlor", one of the few family-owned ice cream parlors in the Stockton area. Located in a strip mall and on the corner of West Ln/E. March Ln, this place has been serving up its delicious varieties of traditional and unique ice creams and desserts dating back to early-2017. I came here with my lady during the afternoon on Saturday 8/22/2026 at 3:00pm. Parking was not difficult as it is shared with many other businesses. Upon arrival, it was quite busy as there was at least a dozen customers ahead of us still waiting to order. During our wait, we observed the menu and noticed they offer more than just your standard ice cream (in a cup or cone). This place offers "Dream Buns" which is ice cream between a donut. Another exclusive item is their "Puffles" which is ice cream in a cup with an added bubble waffle. In addition to this, they also carry milkshakes as well as your choice of either churro or brownie sundaes. Jump forward 27 minutes later and it was finally our time to order. Considering there was only one employee running the show, I will not knock any points (or stars as Yelp goes) off this review. As for what we ordered, my lady went with a traditional scoop of strawberry ice cream complete with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. I opted for an old-fashioned sugar cone of their chocolate flavor. However, since the ice cream was not chilled at a certain temperature, the employee was gracious enough to give me more + put it in a cup. Think of it as a 2 for 1 deal while I only paid for the price of a single scoop. Despite the long wait time, this place was well worth it. The overall taste, consistency, and flavor of the ice cream was top notch and delicious. The interior layout was fairly spacious but lacking in seating as there was only so many chairs if you choose on enjoying your dessert inside. Keep in mind that they are closed on Tuesday/Wednesday. But they are open from 2-10pm Thursday through Monday. With that said and done, I am giving "Dream Ice Cream Parlor" in Stockton a perfect five out of five stars. read more

We came back to try the Dubai shake and it did not disappoint!!! I also saw they stocked up on their ice cream sandwiches but the shake was more than enough!!! The not only is the presentation of the ice cream beautiful but it's DELICIOUS and very filling!!! They're SO nice at this location you have to do yourself a favor and go see them! I noticed they also sell Merch and I swear next time I go back I WILL get a Dream ice cream t shirt because hell yeah I love them!! I have yet to get an ice cream sandwich but you cannot only build your own but they ask what topping you want on them!!! I came to try this ice cream place because I was in the mood for something sweet. I assumed that it was closed because of how dark it looked inside. The ambience was very gloomy and dark. I got two scoops of Thai tea ice cream which the scoops were very generous. I also got two dream buns one with Thai tea ice cream and the other with horchata ice cream. I got the unglazed doughnut with crushed waffles as topping for both. The doughnuts had a slight rancid oil flavor. You can choose either glazed or unglazed and various toppings. Amazing! I wanted a snack before dinner and since it was 90 something degree, grabbing some ice cream was perfect. My aunt and grandma raved about the quality of their ice cream and I was happy to try it out. We got there a little before they opened and luckily we did bc we were able to be first in line. I ordered the puffle which is a waffle cone with 2 scoops. The waffles are made fresh to order and is warmed when served. However my waffle cone I chose, which what should have been churro, was lacking. No cinnamon, no sugar, no flavor, just a super thick batter. Next time I will probably not get a waffle cone. For my 2 scoops I did chocolate on the bottom and strawberry on top. The strawberry on top paired well with the fruity pebble and captain crunch cereal toppings. The pictures make this place look top of the line amazing. We made the trip out there to try what puffle ice cream was and we were excited about it. As we walked up people were walking out empty handed, we walked in and we noticed the place is way more run down than the pictures. The young man in there did not greet us , the vibe was not welcoming and everything behind the counter was sloppy and un organized. The kid said they would not have any puffles until later in the day. Just to point out they are already opening at 2:00pm in the afternoon . There were no other options except basic things. I feel badly for the employees as they seem short staffed and looked like they were just trying to survive another day. This is my recommendation. As I stood behind the glass frame, I asked for a sample of the Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese coffee was good but doesn't resemble much of Vietnamese coffee. I'd say it's missing a punch but again, it was good. Perhaps add some mini bits of condensed milk to turn it up a notch. In short, love that the ice cream flavors are all house crafted. First visit to this location, and I decided to go all out on my ice cream adventure. I felt like a kid with a big treat because I added fruity pebbles to my ice cream waffle ball. The staff here was nice the location inside was clean. We did however sit at a table that needs some repairing as one of the legs is not properly grounded to the main structure.
