I'm not too familiar with the Stockton area, but I'm assuming it's in a downtown location. I like that they have a corner location with a good amount of parking. They have a shared lot and street parking. They have outdoor seating only. They serve GUNTHER'S ICE CREAM! IYKYK. ALWAYS, always get ice cream with your shave ice. Trust. Anywho, service was quick. Staff was welcoming and nice. It's pretty chill in there, too. The quality and quantity of the shave ice is exactly what you'd get if you were to go to Hawaii for Ululani's. Personally, my #1 go-to is Local Motion with snow cap, li hing mui drizzle and the powder. I just love, love the Li Hing Mui flavor!! The more, the better! I think it was the team mom that owned the umbrella. Then her daughter & youngest child came. The team was called to the Chase Center and my youngest grandson started playing with her baby. They had so much fun!!! The game was over and I walked over and sat on the bench waiting for my son to get his baby. When he came I told him I want to try Kona Ice, he went & got it for me, it was cool and rejuvenated me. It reminded me of my grandmother because she loved ice. On my first visit I really wanted the matcha and red bean bingsu as it is always my go-to. They said they did not have the stuff to make it and that was disappointing. I almost had them make me a plain matcha to add my own red bean from home but I wanted to get the full experience. So I ordered watermelon instead. Wait one was a bit long but the price was reasonable. It was much smaller than I expected and although I loved the fruity pebbles on top, the ice cream flavor itself was super mild and it was hard to tell exactly what the flavor was. I have also tried falooda bliss and honestly it tasted similar to the watermelon. There was a hint of floral but the ice cream itself is overly milky and mushy for a bingsu. While you need that creamy condensed milk, it also needs to be icy and crisp. The "noodly" shape is odd and off-putting and the texture on the bingsu here is too heavy. If you like regular ice cream with toppings, you would probably like this cart.
