This place was recommended by a friend. Great location in Colonial Heights. I called ahead and made a reservation for a pedicure at 12:30pm on Friday. Was told to go to choose a polish color and go to seat 2 and ended up waiting half an hour. But the nail technician for seat 3 added a liner and filled the basin for me to soak while I waited. That was nice of her. Another nice thing is that you get to enjoy the massage chair the entire time you are seated. My nail technician was the friendly person from seat three. I am honestly appalled by the service that I had today. I wanted to get a basic set of acrylics done and l asked for a round shape of light pink nails and my nails were the wrong shape along with bleeding cuticles and the guy that was doing my nails began to be very rude to me about my concerns. He made my nails and almond shape and then began to fill in the acrylics with dip because he filed them the wrong shape. After this, he began talking to the lady beside him and rolling his eyes at me. When I told the manager of the salon, he proceeded to say that it was my fault for being indecisive and this is when I told him I showed the nail artist my inspiration picture and that's exactly what I wanted. I have never been treated that way in a nail salon and I don't think that I will go back because of this experience. I'm sure that the manger will respond to this post and demean what I am saying like he does to everyone that leaves bad reviews. read more

Everytime I come to Dream Nail bar (which has been since they've opened) they have always been so busy and rushing their jobs. It is right by my house so that is why I've been going only there. When I make an appointment via phone, they never write my name down and I ask if they need my name and say "sure" but when I get there they act like I never made an appointment and usually have to wait 30-45 mins. Anyways, my chief complaint is that I always asked for gel polish, which always chipped here and I go back and get it fixed and act like I'm a burden. This past week I decided to get a gel pedicure and my very first mani with dipped/power in a beautiful yellow that i love. Well, the dip started chipping off within a few days and just cracked in spots. The gel pedicure polish was not nearly reached the edges of my toenail on the sides. I went in for a refund because they mess them up constantly and didn't want to be a burden and just take my services elsewhere. I have spent around 3-4 GRAND here throughout getting my services done here.. Was super rude and shut me down completely. They are always rushed and rush through their jobs..but im pretty sure they treat the "tip too much" customers way better and do a thorough job. Oh and their body language when speaking to one another is totally telling of what they're sorta talking about. Which is usually something negative. **reply to owner** Yes you offered to fix them, but was rude. I saw other customers around and I was pleasantly speaking, with a soft voice actuay. Plus the man at the front was checking out 2 ladies and wanted to know my complaint..I told him I would wait til he is finished with the clients checking out. YOU sir were the one who spoke loudy and said "we fix them" which brought any attention that way Nd you said refund super loud so that was your fault of attention being brought that way...you just walked off before I could explain that just a discounted rate of what I paid would do. I did not have time to wait an extra 1-1.5 hours just to have them redone, which should have been done right in the first place. Went to this place for the first and last time. The person who did my nails was short and rude and they were uneven.

What a bust! Made an appointment for 2 and they gave us 1 tech. I'm fine waiting but they didn't turn my water on or anything! I just sat and sat. They did a rush job on my companion. We ordered the deluxe pedicure and they did no cuticle clean up, nothing. Basically trimmed toenails and then did a quick sugar scrub. $40 + tip and then sent my companion off with WET FEET. Didn't even dry them off! Ah! Suddenly when other customers came in there were techs available doing services scheduled. Sadly never again. read more

Their hours are posted and a sign that says Walk-ins welcome. Well I went with a friend and her daughter 2.5 hours before they closed and there were four guests all getting manicures, we asked about getting pedicures and were immediately told no. We weren't even asked if we minded waiting for them to finish just immediately told that we could not be seen because we did not have an appointment. If you can't accommodate Walk-ins then you shouldn't advertise that walk-ins are welcome. read more
