My ear had scar tissue from a previous plastic surgery procedure and my legs were huge! Walking was very difficult. I investigated several people for Lymphatic Drainage, knowing that if not done correctly, it can hurt you and be counterproductive. I could not drive and could barely walk without holding onto something. I found Pam Moyer, who was trained in the Vodder Technique of manual lymphatic drainage. Let me tell you- it was not what I was expecting! How can such a gentle touch produce such spectacular results? I don't know but it worked. After the session, I was very tired and went home and rested. I also "disposed of a lot of liquid" afterwards. (Nice way of saying I peed a lot). The following morning the band that had been like a vice on my lungs had disappeared and I would breathe with ease. While hydrating, I was getting rid of fluid as fast as I could take it in. The size of my calf's and ankles went down. I had to have more of that magic so I booked another session. I was so much better that I could actually drive myself this time! This session concentrated on the ear scar tissue (it was much looser) and my legs and ankles. And then back up to my lungs again. Two days after this session, my legs looked thinner and the edema was much better. I discontinued us of Lasix for the edema because it was so much better. My calves were down another 2 inches! Pam gave me all kinds of hints to use at home and she was willing to answer my questions and share her knowledge. I don't understand how it works completely but I know that she has some magic in her hands. I will be going to her for the Lymphatic Drainage as needed. (I anticipate a few more sessions). They also have massages and facials here so I can't wait to book a nice deep massage! I can only say Thank You, Pam, for all that you've done for me. I'm walking. I can breathe and I can drive again. I must have been a basket case for her since I had just been released from the hospital after 6 days and I was pitiful. Now, I am getting better all the time thanks to Pam and the Lymphatic drainage.

I had already had good results in one area down in South Florida, so I knew already what worked and what did not. I had had my original treatments with the Candela Gentle Max Pro and was seeking that laser. As it turns out, Evita Med Spa has the next version: the Candela Max Pro Plus. Needless to say, I signed up, and upon doing so, I met Marilyn, who is sweet as pie and makes laser hair removal appointments a breeze or as a breeze they can be. I still wind up going with numbing cream and taking some painkillers because that's just me, but I do have to say that these appointments I may admittedly even look forward to. I've had wonderful results with them and I'm slowly and surely not needing to shave nearly as often, if at all. The med spa is pristine. I think if they've been open over a year I'd be surprised. Everything is the latest and they even have Saturday appointments, something that not all med spas offer. They tend to have a lot of specials and they do more than laser hair removal. They offer body contouring, massages, and the like, but at least in my case, I've only done laser hair removal treatments there (at least thus far). Very happy with this med spa. I've recommended it heavily to friends in town. Intending on going for as long as I'm getting laser hair removals (and possibly more - who knows the future really).

While I waited for my smoothie to be prepared a kind lady offered to give me a tour of the place which I thought was a wonderful gesture. I didn't get her name, unfortunately. She showed me the salt chambers, and the esthetician room where facials and other services are performed. I think I saw the massage space as well. She also said they have a meditation room available for rent and someone that leads guided meditations on occasion. Not really sure why I didn't see it. Perhaps it was in use.
