Enter in Dennis and Son Tree Service. They called me back promptly- I explained the work that I needed done (defensive action against the trees on one roof- and offensive action toward future Mother Nature outbursts by clearing some trees away from the house at another location) Matt (would this be the son of Dennis and son?) told me he'd have an estimate to me later that same day and true to his word it arrived via fax. The price was right- the timing to have the work done- the next day, and he asked for no deposit or anything even though this was all handled over the phone. Told me just to send him a chieck when the work was complete. Love that! My trees were trimmed, offending branches removed and all the debris hauled away. And even better news is that the roof was not damaged by the tree! You can't always anticipate what Mother Nature is going to dole out. Apparently that meant (to Hagan Tree Service) my driveway area was available to Hagan for his equipment, to the point where he unhitched his flatbed trailer and left for a period. When i confronted him at the end of the day, he jumped from the skid loader he was planning to load via my driveway, and ran up to within a 1/2 inch of my face and proceeded to scream "hit me, hit me". He demanded that he has access to up 25' on the side of the road and he was in the right. His partner or employee stood to the side flipping me off and calling me names during this tirade. Key point that I failed to mention, at no point did the Hagan crew ask for permission to park for 10 hours in my driveway as he did. My only encounter was him screaming at me and spitting in my face he screamed.
