Cute Lights that change colors throughout the night

The staff here helped make my friends birthday so special! Thank you all so much for all your help and an amazing night. 10/10 Amazing ambiance, amazing karaoke, great pool table, great expresso martini canned drinks, and great performers! Everything about this place is magical. A beautiful safe space.

Maple butter tots, bacon egg and cheese croissant and the waffle flight.

This was a soft brunch open for them and the service was good the staff still very warm and welcoming. The owners are also very friendly and take the time to listen to everything we had to say. The waffle flight was really nice to get a taste of several options, I also ordered the bacon, egg and cheese croissant and the maple butter tots. The croissant was awesome! The tots we suggested needed more maple flavor. I will say the tables are a little small for having a meal there so maybe add a few square ones mixed in with the small round ones to help with that. The owner did explain that they are trying new things as they go and I can't wait to see it all come together as they grow into the next big brunch spot of Richmond!

I arrived early but the place was packed by showtime , I thought the cards on the tables were clever and added to the overall cabaret vibe

Saw this place on IG came out for cabaret night OMG where to start? The decor is very cute and extremely classy, the staff was kind and the owner was very welcoming. The show started and the performances were top notch - this is no amateur production every detail was attended to - i was particularly impressed by the mentalist (how do they do that?!) and the femme fatale burlesque performance- they also had a NA champagne thats 45 calories which was surprisingly tasty and I appreciate how may NA options they had as i dont drink alcohol but hate only having diet soda as an alternative as is usually the case - I'll definitely be going back here what an amazing addition to Shockoe Bottom

My server took our order and our entrees showed up before or drinks of water and ginger. I order the salmon with out potatoes but wanted a double portion of the spinach. It came out without the potatoes but not a double portion is spinach. The server said the chef said it was doubled. Ok if you say so. Let's get down to the actual meal, the Salmon was overcooked and the sauce was extremely salty. Like I could feel my blood pressure rising with each bit. The popcorn was cold and salty. It's a wrap for me. I am going back to a regular Regal theater cause cinebistro isn't it.

Apps Both the fried green tomatoes and the baked goat cheese were delicious. The tomato jam in the candied shallots on the goat cheese, made it rich and delightful. And they had enough baguette, which is impressive because usually the bread runs out in most places or something like this. The fried green tomatoes were also rich and indulgent and the peach habanero jelly was a nice bright kick. For entrées we got a couple CMX burgers, the ravioli and the chicken BLT. I usually get the tuna poke bowl, which is always very good but this time I was in the mood for a sandwich so the chicken BLT was a risk, but turned out it paid off. The chicken was cooked perfectly as well as the bacon. Very satisfying. The burgers never disappoint and my son really enjoyed his ravioli with an extra steaks you were on the side.

In the theater world, every city needs large houses and small ones and community ones (including…read moredinner theaters, if applicable.) Large ones to drive the theater zeitgeist with main stage productions that everyone has heard of (either locally produced or traveling extravaganzas) and small ones to provide more intimate settings and maybe take a few risks. Firehouse is a decent small theater so I am not going to review it against the standards set by the large houses. Come to Firehouse for above average acting and for decent production values. Come to Firehouse for exposure to plays you won't see at large houses -- ranging from, say, Rocky Horror to Buried Child. Come to Firehouse for the experience of seeing a show in a raw form that does not depend on major fly-in gimmicks or other high tech special effects. Do not come if the above doesn't suit you, or if not quite comfortable seating is an issue. Or if you need to park close. Firehouse and its ilk fill a valuable niche. It should be supported and patronized.

The theater is always neat and clean, with a bright entrance and interesting movie posters. The café is welcoming, and the staff is a true highlight of the experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a genuine smile and a welcoming attitude. The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and patient, ensuring every step of your visit, from ordering at the café to having your food delivered to your seat, is seamless and pleasant. Their dedication to great service truly sets this theater apart. The food and drinks are a major highlight. There are many delicious choices, and everything is consistently tasty and served hot. The popcorn, in particular, is far superior and fresher than what you get at other theaters. I love the convenience of ordering food and an adult beverage right from my seat and having it delivered hot and quickly. The selection of on-tap beers is also a nice touch. The reclining seats with leg supports are super comfortable, making for a truly relaxing movie-watching experience. Best part is free refills on your popcorn, which is great since I like to take a bucket home with me :) Whether I'm catching a $6 movie on a Tuesday in one of the smaller theaters or a full-price movie in the main auditorium, it's always a great time. If you're looking for a theater with excellent food, comfortable seating, and friendly service, this is the place to go.

This production was at 259 Granby St in Norfolk, VA, and this venue is NOT suitable for this type of event. It was entirely too small for an interactive show. People were sitting all over each other. It was a 4 hour event and I believe this is only because you spent majority of the time trying to ensure everyone made it to the front to look at the crime scene, evidence, etc. The food was cold and HORRIBLE. Not to mention dinner didn't come with a drink other than tap water. You had to purchase canned soda or juice at inflated prices. We actually left when desert was served. $120+ for 2 tickets WASTED! What a mess!

Of course it was cheesy-- it's dinner theater! However, I thought the performances were fun, the actors did a great job interacting with the crowd. The story was light but clever and the crowd work was funny. The food... was a buffet. It's fine. Don't go for the food. Also-- people complaining about the bar being extra-- that was clear in the description. If you want an edgy, complex murder mystery... this isn't for you. If you want some pleasant PG rated fun, I think it's well worth an evening.
