Only a couple of hundred for some of the beds and mattress combos - you're guaranteed to make a stealing if you're willing to overlook some minor quality issues. The range is large as well - older style wooden beds, metal frames, succinct pine furniture and even some novelty and interesting shaped beds. The service was friendly, and when I said I was 'just looking' she believed me and backed off, giving me space. A decent little place.

I selected on the bed on the Monday and it was delivered the following day when I paid. I bought a further mattress the following day and it was delivered that day. He even allowed me to call and let him know that I was in and he delivered it there and then.....totally hassle free, fabulous and took a good deal off stress out of the move.

We raised this issue with him and wanted him to either fix it or refund the amount we paid. Unfortunately, he has done neither and we are now exploring a legal recourse to get our money back. The owners actively encourage you to bring your dogs, babies and all to test run the products before you buy. As for the furniture it is unique, expertly made using traditional carpentry methods (no hardboard draw liners here) and usually from reclaimed woods such as walnut or pine. They sell sofas, chest of drawers, beds, tables, really comfortable chairs, wardrobes and all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop for both its quality of products and service.

So I came to John Lewis & Partners after a friend recommended the grocery portion as a good place to find spices. I've traveled to several countries and states where I pick up spices to use in my recipes, this means a lot more to me than some novelty t-shirt or magnet. I purchased a wide selection of spices, some which I have never tried using before. As you can see in my picture, I got quite the haul and paid around $30 euros for it all. Compared to the prices I would have paid back home, I feel that I got a great deal at John Lewis & Partners.

He took control as the shop was shutting demand a further £200 when i can only assume my autism and unsteady state while i was suffering a minor stroke had him see an opportunity to steal. The shop was in darkness the cashier at a distance and stated events were manufactured. I was still clear in my head but unable to respond and the salesman is said to have been on holiday over 8 weeks. The head of security of that floor seemed familiar but the video would prove it weas him. JOHN LEWIS refused to show me the video or a copy but the video would show my state of health having to sit while i was being robbed. The police were offered as an alternative knowing they cannot interfere in a civil case further confirming the abuse is a regular occurrence on these premises. The show room is lovely, the staff are knowledgeable but not pushy...and you get to wander around and try out all of the beds - what a brilliant way to shop!! We have had the bed for a couple of months now...and I still love it! It is stylish, really comfy and has storage space for 74 pairs of shoes underneath! What more could a girl want?? The only thing I am unsure about is their sales! Since I bought our bed I have seen quite a few adverts for Warren Evans on the tube/in timeout etc... and they always seem to have a sale. This means I wouldn't recommend buying a bed full price, as if you wait a month or two you'd be able to get the bed of your dreams at a bargain price. *Oops. Upon moving to London and leaving behind our first "wow" mattress, we needed a replacement. I wanted quality and I didn't want it to be covered in flame retardants that leave you sleeping in a sea of VOCs. I came across Warren Evans online and with the showroom just a short walk away, it was a no brainer. The showroom as nice - all the models there for us to see with cheery salespeople saying "go ahead, lay on it all the way" and "no worries - you can get your shoes on it." After hopping around from mattress to mattress, we left the store with two quotes in our hands and guaranteed price even though the sale would have ended before we called in the order. Not bad! When it was finally delivered the men arrived right on time, were very friendly and careful and were out in about 20 minutes. Amazing. When I was left to look at the bed for the first time, I wanted to cry. It's beautiful people, it really is. It just oozes craftsmanship. My favorite part is the little tufted buttons on top! And, to top it all off, man is this thing comfortable. Absolutely NO complaints from the mattress snob. **A special note for those of you concerned about harmful chemicals - they have a line of 100% organic mattresses, certified by the soil association. Even the flame retardant is naturally derived. It's a wonderful feeling to put your head on the pillow at night knowing you're breathing in clean air! UPDATE: I've now slept on this mattress for about a month and a half, and I just can't explain how comfortable it is. I used to have to get out of bed after 8 hours because of discomfort, but now I'm sleeping 10 hours and feel fit as a fiddle in the morning!

So it is with Habitat. I like a lot of their furniture, but their lighting doesn't do it for me, for example. I like their cutlery, but I'm less keen on their crockery. And so on. This is quite a nice Habitat store, laid out attractively over two floors, on the King's Road near Chelsea Town Hall. The staff are generally helpful, they have a nice range of accessories to complement the furniture, and they have regular, good sales. The one major item I did buy from Habitat was my dining table. Although it is "partially self-essembly", it is still a lovely solid piece of furniture and, unusually, opens out on the long side to form a square, which seats eight. It's great for working on, too. So spot on in design terms for me. I was a little nervous about home delivery - my flat is 78 stairs up, with no lift - but the delivery staff were cheerful and came exactly when they said they would, waited for me to check everything was as it should be, and that there was no damage, and then took away the packaging. That is what I regard as good service.

I was told it would take 2-3 days to get my order delivered..after 6 days my order hadn't arrived. Called customer services as I was expecting visitors in some days time and absolutely needed these plates!! I was told the order went to the wrong place but would be with me on time for when I needed it. Plates arrived over a week later (No plates for visitors). The box was ripped (no "fragile" label) and plates were broken. I complained and was offered a £10 voucher to spend in their own store?! as a "goodwill" gesture from habitat?! I asked to return and get a refund after such a poor service. I was home on expected time of collection. No one knocked my door and I received an email saying collection failed because no one was home?! (NO note was left on my doorstep either!) I called habitat saying that they were not at my place! I asked if they could contact the driver and I was told they could not contact the driver?! Drivers have no phone number?! This is the worse service I have ever came across with.. it is very disappointing, especially when you pay the extra money for the quality!
