Dr Nguyen is very professional and thorough in his explanations during the eye exam. The staff here is courteous and helpful in performing eye tests and helping to find frames. I appreciate that the timeframe is very short and I didn't have long to wait for my exam. The technicians assisting with the trying on and fitting of the glasses were very helpful, patient and provided excellent customer service. The worse experience I've ever had in vision care. The only positive aspect was Lisa who was friendly and knowledgeable. The rest were a very unprofessional group of people that showed indifference while performing their jobs. I chose this provider under new vision insurance because they offered the additional Retina Screening for an additional charge. When I went for my exam I was told they didn't offer it. After checking, they said they do offer it but it's a seperate exam that has to be done at a second appointment on a different day. I never had a problem with previous providers. I should have left then! It gets worse. After my eye exam, I went to pick out frames and they had a very small, limited selection. After asking for assistance, I got my lenses picked out. Options were only explained after I asked questions. I felt like i was bothering the attendant. The glasses were due in from the lab in 10 days, but that ended up being a month. I go to pick them up and they were so bad that I couldn't see out of them. I kept saying this was not my prescription. But they checked and they were made to my prescription. Then they kept asking me if it was a bad prescription or bad location of the progressive areas. I said "I don't know, you're supposed to be the professionals." Later, In comparison, the 1st prescription from them was very different from last years prescription. I was there another hour while they tried to convince me to take them home to see if my eyes "got used to them" while I kept refusing to take them. The eye tech keep saying they could re-make them "only one time" under insurance like it was my fault. I left without the glasses. It was such a bad experience that I almost walked away and wasn't even going to go back for a refund. I had to make another eye exam appointment with a 2nd doctor which resulted in a very different prescription from the first one the 1st doctor did. The new prescription was similar with minor changes to my previous prescriptions so it was a bad eye exam and bad prescription. Then Lisa helped me with the new prescription & lense change. I felt so much more comfortable and confidant with her. She recommended a frame change from half frames to full frames because of the lense change. She took care of everything. The new prescription glasses came in 20 days later. The new glasses were fine. Luckily Lisa was there when I went to pick my glasses up. She expertly fitted the glasses for me. If I based the review on just Lisa and the 2nd doctor it would be 5 stars. read more

Do not take your kids here ! They are rude they cancel your appointment without telling you and wait till you get there to let you know. We waited almost 2 HOURS before being called back! The office manager Mary was completely rude and did nothing to help. If it wasn't the day before school started I would have went somewhere else. We will never be back here and you shouldn't either. read more

I told them how I wanted my glasses, and I paid for it. I did not select the frame, so I called the next day to cancel everything because I did not find the frame that I wanted, and they did not refund my money. They told me they already sent the order. I don't know how it is possible to place an order without having selected a frame or taking the corresponding measurements. read more

Let me start by saying that the doctor here was great, very friendly and personable. My beef with this place is because of the front staff. On my first appointment I was prescribed a +3.75 contact lens in one eye that ended up being way too strong for me to adjust to. During my first visit I burned my benefits to get a 3 month supply of contacts, which were ordered before I left that first appointment. After using the trials at home, I realized my prescription was too strong. I received my order and used my right prescription on both eyes, which was +2.50. I never opened the box for my left eye knowing it was too strong from the moment I got them. I called to see if I could have my prescription changed to +2.50 on both eyes, and to see if I could swap out the box of +3.75 since I was not going to be able to wear them. I was told I was able to swap out the box, and that I needed to come back in to readjust my prescription. I made an appointment to do that. Get to my appointment and the front desk girl was the one doing my prescription readjustment. She did some little eye tests with me and insisted on me taking home +3.50 and +3.25 trials to see which one I liked better. I don't know why she couldn't just adjust my prescription to +2.50 for both eyes but she didn't. She said to call back up there after I used both the different contact strengths to decide which one I wanted to go with. At this point I just wanted my contacts so I didn't argue. I left my box of +3.75 up there with her so they could be exchanged when I called up there to say which prescription strength I wanted to go with. I wore them for a couple days, called back up there to say that I want to go with the lower strength contact because +3.50 was still way too strong (even +3.25 was still too strong but she didn't seem to listen when I said I liked +2.50 for both eyes). When I called she said I couldn't exchange my contacts because the +3.75 box was opened, and I know it wasn't. So I basically burned my benefits and now I have to buy those contacts out of pocket. I was angry but just told her to mail me my prescription. I get my prescription in the mail today and it's not even the correct one. She put +3.50 on the eye that should be +2.50, so I had to call up there (once again) to tell her to correct it. I'm not going back to this office. This is just a prime example of how you can be a great doctor and have crappy front staff jack up your entire practice. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to be able to see properly. read more

Right now not a Happy customer. I've bought 5 pairs of glasses from there over the years and really have not had any problems until my latest pair. For the price I had to pay, even with insurance, I would expect better. The glass are just a couple of months old and the frames are separating, I've been by the store multiple times and called multiple times in the last three weeks and no one has been available to repair them. The most recent attempt today and no one was available In the lab so I asked what could be done and I was told I could drop them off and someone could get to them another time. I explained again that I need them to see and do my job so I was told to hold for the vision department and 15 minutes later still nothing but music. The doctor and Andy in the lab have always been great to my family and I so I don't understand what is going on this time. Most of the time I would give them a 4-5 star rating but WOW this is crazy. read more

All the staffs are wearing proper PPE so I feel safe and comfortable enough to be out there during this time. Dr. Nguyen and the girls in the front were awesome. Young, inexperienced employees. I went in to purchase frames only and was told they needed my prescription to file with insurance. After contacting VSP, that is NOT true. Train your employees better. VSP is the insurance company and they have their rules and regulations. My providing you with my prescription to purchase frames only is NOT required. After leaving your office I went elsewhere and purchased my frames using my VSP insurance and they did NOT require a prescription. That must be your office policy NOT VSP's. Once again, train your employees better. BTW - the office manager did not return my call and when I called her back not only was she rude and unprofessional she should learn how to use proper grammar. read more
