After going through stage two breast cancer in 2005 and then again in 2013, I had turned to…read moreimplants. I noticed that even though my implants were behind the muscle wall, they were beginning to droop on one side where I could actually pinch skin to skin.. I made an appointment with Dr. Dubrow's office.. Within a few weeks, I was able to get an appointment and go in to have my implants removed. Currently with the implants I was a G. Due to having an lumpectomy, I was under the impression that I did not have much of my own breast tissue left and this is why the doctor recommended implants to begin with. But at this point I had had my implants replaced multiple times and continued to have trouble. When I spoke to Dr. Dubrow and his amazing assistant Jackie and explained the trouble that I was having and that I wanted the implants removed. Unfortunately, my husband was not able to attend the consultation due to how fast I was able to get my consultation so we did it over FaceTime. My husband was still hoping for a larger outcome. My expectations were anything healthy. Even if that included a size A cup. After surgery, Jackie had shared my postop surgery report with me. As I expected the chemo and radiation had damaged the tissue in my right breast to the point he had to remove a lot of tissue in order to lift my breasts evenly. Coming out of surgery with the scarring and the stitches , the swelling and everything. I definitely was completely flat chested. But as the days went on, my breast started forming and dropping just as they said they would. I am currently five months postop into my surprise. I am a 34D. Needless to say my husband is extremely happy and so am I. This has been such a wonderful experience and it is all due to a doctor's office. That truly knows what they're doing. It's located in a building with a large parking lot so parking is easy. Instead of a typical waiting room, I was placed in a very cute "retreat room" while waiting for my appointment which had dim lighting and candles which was super relaxing! My injector was Britney and she was very knowledgeable. What I like about her is that she was more on the conservative side. She told me she starts with slightly less units for Asian skin due to higher sensitivity to the dysport and will add as needed during touch ups. I really appreciated this because I've had overdone Botox at other locations that froze my face too much or led to compensatory wrinkles from other places of my face. She also schedules complimentary touch up appointments in two weeks which I appreciated. She wasn't pushy at all and never tried to upsell me on anything even when I asked what other procedures could I do preventively, she said I had pretty good skin and should just stick with dysport and microneedling at my age (which I do). I appreciate that there's also a loyalty stamp program to get discounts! Now, I am a week from my injection and love my results!

The procedure was significantly more painful than treatments I've since received elsewhere, and I experienced complications that no patient should have to endure, including permanent scarring and hypopigmentation. Rather than feeling cared for, I felt dismissed throughout the process. After switching providers, the difference was remarkable. My current clinic used modern equipment, explained every step of the treatment, prioritized my comfort, and has achieved better fading with far less trauma to my skin. Looking back, I sincerely wish I had gone somewhere else from the beginning. Tattoo removal is already a long process, and patients deserve a provider who combines technical skill with compassion. This was my personal experience, but I hope it helps others make an informed decision before committing to treatment.
