Been there 2x both meals were great! Very friendly staff and enjoyed the experience! Highly recommend while visiting!

    Alaskan Halibut and Mushroom Risotto

It's my local favorite. The amazing gracious friendly staff. Menu I can tailor to my mood& hunger. Drinks are terrific! The place feels like home, a place of comfort! Welcome! Actually. Don't go. It's a great secret!!!! Tonight I had my usual Chopin Martini and the special Alaskan Halibut and mushroom. Delicious

I'm back for the music trio of Sami, Amanda and David - today with his saxophone. Meanwhile I had the chocolate martini. Thinking that's the IT drink right now. And rightfully so - it's delicious. So is the trio tonight- actually the correct verb is exquisite, even with the din of this loud crowd on Valentine's Day. The grapefruit Stiegel is the right balance to the sweetness of the chocolate martini. We got here at 9 and literally took the last seats. The place was packed - sold out!

Eight there Friday night on our way to the theater the annoyance theater, which was really annoying and my wife had a margarita pizza which she said was the best she ever had. I had a great salad and not so great piece of fish on the menu, they didn't say that they fried it it was our waiters first night working there he was from Columbia nice fellow, very efficient and the cherry pie that they make in house for dessert was terrific and they had a good cup of coffee so I'm gonna give this one four stars because of the fish if you're gonna fry a piece of fish, you should say that on the menu

A lovely night at Drew's for restaurant week! A few of us ordered from the 60 dollar restaurant week menu, while some of us ordered separate dishes. The service was amazing, and we really enjoyed the mood lighting and lively crowd there. The food and drinks came out great, no complaints here!

Came here for a quick reunion and they were able to seat us and take a reservation last minute. Around noon it was a bit empty but it filled up towards the end of our lunch. The $3 mimosas are great and the lobster bisque was yummy, just a bit too salty for my liking. I wish it came with crackers but it was solid. Inside was decorated very cute!

Unfortunately, this was both my first and last time dining here. I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes. What arrived was very bland and without any garlic. I mentioned this to our server, who admitted that the kitchen sometimes forgets to add the sautéed garlic (which is listed on the menu) and said she'd bring some out. What I received instead was a cup of raw garlic. Image attached. When I let her know I wouldn't be adding raw garlic to my meal, she offered to microwave it--which was baffling. I declined and asked for the dish to be removed from the bill since it went completely untouched. Even then, the $7 charge wasn't removed until it was discussed with the owner. The rest of the food (calamari, crab cakes, risotto, and a burger) was underwhelming, especially for a $100+ meal. Between the food quality and the poor service and communication, it was a disappointing experience all around.

Love Drew! Love Rob! Love the staff!! We got to see Miss Foozie at the Sunday brunch and had the BEST time ever!! The food was delicious and the mimosas were flowing! SO much FUN! Definitely going back! I wish I could give 10 stars - here's 10 pineapples instead!

This was a sleeper for us during restaurant week, chosen for the location, not necessarily the food or reviews. But it had the BEST selection of any of the restaurants we went to. The cocktail was delicious and the salad, appetizer and pork chop were all great. It seemed that the dessert fell a little flat though. Not that wonderful. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice too. Would definitely give this place another try!

My family really enjoyed this place! It felt very fancy and nice with the white table cloths but isn't going to break the bank if you want just a basic brunch. The server was awesome and all staff was cheery and kind. I would definitely go back!

A treasure on the Lincoln Park area. Warmly met in a casual atmosphere that managed to make you feel welcomed. Somehow you could feel that these owners/servers were there to give you a terrific dining experience and they were proud of their product. During Chicago Restaurant Week, they offered the most generous menu and it was delicious...bar beverage included . Four courses of deliciously prepared risottos, confits, steaks, chops soups appetizers and desserts. On a cold wintry evening, left feeling completely satisfied with the experience here. We weren't alone so might want to make a reservation.

It was the right move because it had the kind of chill vibe we were seeking after a long flight from SFO. Fortunately there were two seats at the bar with our names on them. Figuratively speaking. They had quite a signature cocktail list on hand, and we felt it was our obligation to try as many as we could. At least that was what we said to ourselves as the evening wore on. Each cocktail was $14. We started with a couple of familiar libations. Jamie ordered the Mint Julep, a delightfully Deep South mix of bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh mint (photo: https://yelp.to/u-td8LdPLj). I went further south with the Pineapple Margarita which was emboldened by a tropically potent mix of pineapple infused tequila, lime juice, and agave (photo: https://yelp.to/V-Sf6Q_2qK). We got a bit bolder with our second round and found mixed results. Jamie had the Not Your Mom's Daiquiri which amped up the margarita by blending pineapple-infused tequila with Bacardi 8-year rum. Along with fresh lime and simple syrup, this one definitely had more of a kick (photo: https://yelp.to/1ZijDf6wMV). However, my order, the Pontiac Pony, was a spicy miss for me. It was a rather oddball mix of apple-cinnamon infused vodka, pear liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and ginger beer (photo: https://yelp.to/5dQoFdzG98). There was just a harshness that didn't sit well on my tongue. Oh well, the mellow vibe was cool. He also cleared European-style waiting until everyone was done eating. A pleasurable change as we weren't rushed! The water glasses and wine glasses were consistently filled. Though we had dined at Avaspi for both Happy Hour and Dinner, all 8 guests expressed how enjoyable the cuisine, wine selection, service and ambiance was throughout the evending. The restaurant itself is cozy and trendy and the service was excellent despite our large group. I had the half dozen oysters and the beef tare tare to start. Both were amazing, but the real star of the dinner was the steak. You guys, the steak was cooked perfectly and also was packed with flavor. It came with a smear of this unctuous, umami sauce and hints of garlic. If I could, I would eat this everyday. Our server was really attentive. Her pacing was perfect and she was very personable. Again, she did an amazing job considering the size of our party and how often we were ordering cocktails. The location was also great! At first I was a bit weary about how far away from Boystown it was, but it was a nice 10 minute walk back. It gave us time to digest our food. Overall, an amazing experience.
