From the schedulers to the…read moreamazing NP Amanda and sleep technologist, Dmitri, everyone that is a part of this fantastic practice is professional, very well informed, compassionate and committed to helping their patients achieve improved lives through better sleep. As someone who has a serious sleep disorder myself that wasn't diagnosed until middle age, I know just how important their mission is to their patients respective futures. My son has a number of potential contributing factors, including some more rare ones, and the NP Amanda was very well educated about all of them. The sleep clinic itself was a perfect environment for a sleep study unlike some of the other local sleep clinics. My son and I have some severe environmental allergies to mold and other things, and I have some chemical sensitivities. The office and bedroom where the sleep studies are conducted in Houston were absolutely spotless, and there is no odor that I could detect in the office at all. The sleep technologist, Dmitri, looks younger than he must be with his 26 years of experience, and he was SOOO patient with my son, who really didn't like any of the wires. Dmitri couldn't have made the sleep study any easier for us. I have confidence that with the help of the experts at Pediatric Sleep Specialists of Houston, my son will begin to experience more restorative sleep over time. They do get booked up pretty far in advance, but I also know they have cancellations and will attempt to work people in for a quicker sleep study if needed, so don't let that discourage you from choosing them. I think this has to be the number one sleep clinic and sleep specialist for children in Houston, and I haven't even spoken to the main practitioner, Dr. Kothari, yet. I come from a background in medical sales and have seen numerous medical practices over the years, and this one really is doing everything right! We've done an initial visit as well as a follow-up visit. Nancy's expertise with feeding problems was very apparent to me. She examined my daughter during breastfeeding as well as while sucking and resting. Nancy was very professional but also very sweet with my baby. She was extremely informative and thorough. Less than a week after our visit, just by following Nancy's instructions for treatment, my daughter doubled the amount of milk she was able to take from the breast! I am very thankful for Nancy's help, and I highly recommend her as a feeding therapist.

Momentum Therapy Center isn't just for kids! Excellent for adults too. Isabel has been very thorough. The initial evaluation was in person, as well as some of the weekly follow-up visits. Once the coronavirus pandemic started our local stay-at-home orders, Isabel did virtual visits, which were also excellent. Within weeks of starting myofunctional therapy here, there was marked improvement in symptoms. Eventually, the neck tightness/discomfort was 100% better, and the shoulder/trapezius area issues were 70-80% better. Snoring was also improved. Visits were in network with insurance, so that's another plus. Overall, highly recommended!

Later, I received an email informing me that they had decided not to move forward with my application, which I completely respected. My concern isn't that I wasn't selected--it's the lack of professionalism shown during the hiring process. In my opinion, scheduling an interview in advance is a basic professional courtesy and demonstrates respect for a candidate's time. Calling someone without notice and expecting them to interview on the spot did not leave a positive impression and raised concerns about how employees might be treated.
