Twice she has eliminated very painful back pain in a 90 min session - she concentrates every second of the massage on you, and is very compassionate as an added plus. While I still highly recommend Cloud Nine's Maplewood site, those living farther West can book at the O'Fallon site with Taylor with strong confidence - Cloud Nine still receives my highest possible recommendation!

I could have provided documentation from my doctor even but there only choice was for us to find another pregnant woman to take my spot! I dont leave negative reviews often, but this was terrible business. I was hoping to find a spa I could attend after pregnancy because of my back but this will not be the place for me and I don't recommend for anyone else unless you nvr plan on having emergency situations come about. I was excited for my appointment because they talked their services up, including the tables that are specifically made for our pregnant belly's . Specifically, Shawna is everything you could ever want in a massage therapist. She is honest, hilarious, kind, and amazingly talented. I have been in severe pain in my shoulder for years, and she is the first and only therapist to truly make an impact on that pain. She is always there with experiments, explanations, and ready to do whatever it takes to help me feel better. Their hydro-massage table is also an amazing experience. It is relaxing and soothing and loosens your muscles before a deep tissue massage. They have such an array of services, and they are always kind in explaining them to you. Unlike other spas in the area, they do not try to "upsell" you on services or products, they genuinely care about their clients, and that is evident. To address a previous reviewer, when you first become a client, you sign a standard cancellation policy, their policy is visible immediately upon each check-in, and it's included at the bottom of every appointment confirmation. If you cancel in under 24 hours, the therapist scheduled to serve you has to scramble to fill that slot - or they will not be paid. That is how service businesses work. I would never seen an issue with paying a cancellation fee if I wasn't responsible enough to cancel within 24 hours. I am not affiliated with the business except as a very happy client who understands the need to be respectful of staff in this type of business and feel the need to refute a negative comment made out of anger and that mentioned disrespect.

We had specifically reserved the East Meets West massage and facials based on the services listed on the website. However, once we arrived, the menu of services available at the spa was completely different from what was advertised online. It was disappointing because we chose this spa specifically for those treatments. I understand that businesses update their offerings, but the website should accurately reflect the current location, atmosphere, and available services. Keeping online information up to date would help set the right expectations and avoid disappointing customers. I hope they update their website so future guests know exactly what to expect before booking.
