I appreciate the restaurant being open on Mondays. Our server was so nice and helpful. She shared what her favorite dishes were and brought out fresh bread after it was finished. And that bread was next level. We got like a half loaf of Parmesan garlic sourdough! Fresh baked! I absolutely loved my shrimp & grits too. So flavorful. Great portions. It's a bit pricier, especially for Grove, but quality makes it worth it. I will definitely be back to try more entrees. Delicious. And the RV park is beautiful too.

We tried the green chile burger, the mushroom Swiss burger and a monstrous looking Meat 'n Mac (pulled pork topped with Mac 'n Cheese). Fries were good and onion rings were fantastic. It was nice that they literally cut one of the burgers in half, portioned out the fries and brought it out in two baskets when they knew we were splitting one. The Bloody Mary was fantastic. It came with large celery stalk, skewered olive and okra and pepper, and a bacon slice. (I'm not one to like bacon in my cocktail so I passed the slice along to a table mate---I was told it was delicious.) It seemed to be a popular place on a Saturday afternoon. We will be back! The catfish plate is a really good value and the catfish is just really good. They have vinegar and hot sauce for the fish. Forget ever asking for anything, you only see them to get one initial drink order and your food served. Their wait staff is truly terrible. I've been going to Ms. Donna's for two years because I love it so much, but today's service was so bad, it ended my relationship with the place. The waitress saw us walk in, sit down, and never came over. There were two of us who waited for 15 minutes, and there were only about 4-5 other tables with people eating. This place is small to begin with, and so it's not that difficult to bring menus and drinks in a timely manner. Again, it makes me sad to write this, but enough is enough. If Ms. Donna had a new waitstaff and improved customer service, this place would be 5 stars in my book. The waitress did a great job had a great attitude and apologised ,while the owner did absolutely nothing to make the Customer happy. I wasn't asking for a free meal however she could of comped a percentage off the bill instead of arguing with the customer. I run my own business and I will do whatever the Customer wants to make them happy
