Then the power FOR THE ENTIRE PLACE went out. For hours. Note: EVERYTHING IS ELECTRONIC HERE. SO WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT, YOU CAN'T GET INTO YOUR BUILDING OR INTO YOUR ROOM. THERE ARE NO LIGHTS. YOU ARE TRAPPED AND YOUR THINGS ARE VULNERABLE BECAUSE MY PATIO DOOR WAS COMPLETELY NOT LOCKED. NOTHING IS MANAGED BY KEYS. Notifications? None. Peaceful environment? If you consider Construction to be one? So you can't go to the pool, you can't go to the lake, you can't sit on your 1300 deck because you're locked out? Boats and lake access and sauna? All locked up. No one staffed. Abandoned "Scream"movie set perhaps? Late arrival ? No food, no options, no place to purchase anything IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. (8:40) NOTHING is open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays- we unfortunately learned. Did we make a reservation at the apparent restaurant that we have never seen or been able to get into? Yes we did. It was an 8 o'clock reservation. Was the restaurant actually open that evening? No. Communication? NON- EXISTENT. ATM? In-room coffee machines? (Tacky Kuerigs) not in service. *A Jura coffee machine is available with a WARNING that it is only available for breakfast. God Save You if you, paying $1400 a night, possibly wanna have a latte. Mind you, this has been an OVER $3200 stay for two nights. Shuttle? "Sure! There are spots! I'll reserve them for you!" Actual shuttle conversation morning of to confirm: "there is no room- it is booked; it is full." We responded with "we confirmed this in March and again this week." NO SOLUTIONS to make it better. For any of this. "Sorry." At 6:25 pm at the event we get a call. "Hey the shuttle is ready!" We had already been there for two hours. We could NEVER in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. What a deeply unwelcoming, confusing, inaccessible experience. The only thing that works here is the warm and sweet housekeeping folks and the toilets. The power outage was a massive problem only to be addressed with hostility and shocking indifference. Mind you, this was ONE 24- hour period. Stay away.

This would be a great place to go if you want to feel fancy or if you want to give someone the gift of feeling fancy. Customized continental breakfast was part of the room price. You will be tempted to buy the fresh cinnamon raisin bread and then you will be disappointed that it gets stale so fast but then you will know to create French toast with it when you get home and all your disappointment will flee!

We paid for the meals at the restaurant but they were so bad! I definitely had an upset stomach afterwards. The pools, activity room were not kept well. The water machines weren't all working either. Even after doing massages, it was hard to even get water. No one offered us anything. The Ayurveda massages were good but overall we didn't enjoy it. The lady (Anna) who ran the sound bath and meditation was so condescending and rude. There was no air turned on so she opened the outside door to get air in after we asked her, but her energy was so off. One of the front desk person, we asked for a tour and he said "just get lost" and explore on your own. So lazy! I wouldn't recommended this place at all. Given the owner owns a media company, why is this place not maintained well. Also, many of the steam or saunas weren't working. This is not a health resort , it felt like a glorified motel. I wouldn't go again.

Their waterpark is only open from 11 AM to 7 PM when basically every other waterpark that I've ever been to is open at least 12 hours a day. When the waterpark is closed, there is nothing else available in this place. Food is almost impossible to come by and if you do, you will wait an incredibly long time. The waterpark is small and crowded. Almost all the restaurants are closed until five if they open at all. Our room which was over $400 a night was not what I expected in the bathroom looked like something that you would see in a prison with the drain in the middle of the floor of the bathroom no designated shower or bath area it's just a shower curtain which had molded all over the bottom of it, over a tile floor. Our garbage had someone else else's tissues in it and our shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all empty. This made me wonder what we waited till 5 o'clock for because checkout is at 11 and check-in is at four. That's five hours for their staff to clean the rooms. I think that that is enough time if you were properly staffed which they are far from. It was the worst resort waterpark I've ever seen or been to. The manager, sabrina is elusive. I asked for her when Daniel was at the front desk when we were trying to figure out when our room was going to be ready and he couldn't find her and then the next morning I called down and got Sabrina on the phone, but she put me on hold for forcing me to go downstairs and then wait for her yet again. This place is so poorly managed. The only good thing I can say is that the employees were nice. And I think that that says a lot because they're constantly hearing how horrible this place is and they all know it. This was also the most expensive waterpark we've ever been to. Please save your money. This place is an absolute rip off, and you will be sadly disappointed.
