Golden Hour (A small drink for $14, but tasty)
    Kim W.

So happy to see this venue reopened. This time as Driftwoods Coastal Grill. We decided to have lunch this lovely Friday afternoon and it was quite busy for lunchtime. We were greeted as we entered and seated in one of the two downstairs dining rooms (inside since it was almost 100°). The decor really hasn't changed much, except for a lot of driftwood and a few fish decorations. No worries, though, the view is what makes this location. Cierra was our server who promptly took our drink and appetizer order. She was delightful. Of course, we tried the shrimp cocktail. I almost forgot to take a pic - so there were actually more shrimp than what I have pictured because we dug in!!! The shrimp were huge and so good! My husband and I both decided on the fish and chips which was a bit pricey for one piece of fish with fries & coleslaw, but it was tasty. The redfish was fried and the breading was a bit heavy. Would opt for blackened or grilled next time, if substitutions are allowed. I had a couple drinks, called Golden Hour. It was basically a small margarita and at $14 ea, kind of pricey (no prices on the drink menu, by the way). I did ask before ordering, but for $14 I expected a bigger drink. Overall was good and we will keep as an option with a few modifications to our order.

Husband and I stopped by and had some amazing food, fabulous wait service, and the vibe was so inviting with nearly perfect views. Upon walking through the front door we were quickly greeted by an amazing hostess. She was quick to welcome us and let us know there was a slight wait but would get us seated asap. We only waited 10-15 minutes. Seated facing the water and our waitress was extremely helpful, friendly, and polite. She suggested blackberry mixed drink with red snapper tacos and they were amazing! My husband got the burger and he said it was cooked perfect. If in the area hit this place up! 10 out of 10 night of dinning.

Ambiance: 9 / 10 I love a good theme, and this place fully commits. Everything is space themed, from the decor to the menu. Even the elevator ride up is part of the experience. It is designed like a rocket with a countdown playing, which was such a fun touch. Once you get upstairs, the view is incredible. You can see the Indian River, and if you happen to be there on a launch night, you get a direct view of rockets launching from Kennedy Space Center. That alone makes this place worth visiting. Service: 10 /10 I ended up joining a larger group, and anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows that can be a challenge. Our server handled it so well. I wish I had gotten her name because she was amazing. She kept up with everyone, made sure drinks and food were coming out consistently, and stayed friendly the entire time. Seriously impressive. Food: 8 /10 I ordered the meat lovers flatbread and the Causeway Cosmo. My guy got the tuna poke bowl and an old fashioned, and we also had some nachos at the table. The flatbread was really good, nice and crispy with great flavor. The poke bowl was decent. He enjoyed it, but I am a little picky with poke. The drinks were solid too, well balanced and easy to enjoy. Overall, I am really glad I checked this place out. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a visit.

On a Friday evening, however, the entire parking lot was full so it was a no-go for us. Kind of glad it turned out that way, though, because Plan B landed us on the moon, aka The Space Bar. The view from the rooftop is stunning! Really the best part of the experience. Menu prices are reasonable. The signature cocktails are fun and certainly worth trying. Food is average. Interactions with our server were awkward at times, but mostly attentive. Getting water we asked for was a challenge, though. I would definitely return. It's a cool hangout spot.

Wonderful cocktail, beer, and wine menu Had a terrific Swedish pear cider. We visited this spot about two years ago when it was in a smaller space and have been dreaming of the Gumbolaya since. When we arrived in Titusville we about cried when we saw the restaurant wasn't there. Not knowing the name we couldn't google the place. But Thankfully the nice folks at the hardware store knew exactly who we were talking about and told us they had moved to a larger space off the main road. We of course ordered the Gumbolaya which was as great as we remembered! We also had the beet and goat cheese salad, debris fries (fries could have been crispier) but flavor was bangin and we ordered the cheese cornbread which was moist and magical! The chefs husband waited on us and he was truly just an amazing human and made our experience that much better! It's clear he loves what he does and believes strongly in the food they put out, for good reason!
