The service was good and we enjoyed the ambiance. The food for the money was not good for the price we spent. My fillet was thin but was good....should have been thicker for the amount of money we spent. My friend's scallops were chewy and not edible. When we told the server, they offered a dessert...but the problem was it was her birthday and she was getting one. I would not recommend nor would I go back. I'd like to start off by saying the food is absolutely wonderful once again. The drinks from the bar were tasty. BUT the staff upstairs (not bartender) leaves a lot to be desired. The first issue I have is the lady making reservations, she was not friendly then told me we had to be there by 6:30 to eat because they get overly busy on Saturdays...I've been here a couple dozen times, NEVER have I seen this place "overly busy". We get there early and now I realize why the early issue...the upstairs staff moves like snails. First drinks sat on the bar for a good ten minutes before staff brought them to us. Food order was taken next, my wife asks if they have garlic bread to go with the Alfredo meal...NOPE, but she says, "we give appetizer bread you can use." First beer gone before appetizers arrive, I asked for another one...20 minutes later I get it a beer (bottle). Food comes out, all prepared well, tasting good, and then the road bump. The waitress comes back asking about desert, we so no, but can wife and I get another drink (my third, wife's second). Waitress says "no, you'll have to go down to the stage area and order there". We say ok, wife goes and gets us and friends a drink at the bar in stage area (comedy show). The other couple and I have to wait for our bills while show is going. A good ten minutes later the bills finally come. Hilariously, the waitress charged me for the two drinks that she told me we couldn't have! I walked the bill up to the boss looking lady, tell her the situation that we were told no on last drinks, wife went to bar and PAID for them separately. Boss lady acts like she understands and is going to fix it...she goes over to the bartender to get proof we paid for the drinks separately. Then when bartender confirms, she hands the bartender our dinner tab and makes the bartender come out to me? Bartender apologizes for the waitress and hostess attitude and confirms they've fixed my tab back down to the $130 it should be instead of $160. We sat at the bar the rest of the night and had AMAZING service from her. We'll probably skip the dinner in future visits, I don't like being treated like a liar over $20 in drinks. read more

We were hungry ate it anyway but regret it. We did tell the server- no comp or discount- oh well, but IMO I would never serve that calamari. Clam chowder was good- tasty. NY strip was okay, a bit overcooked. Side of mash was literally a scoop- for $47 and only one side- not the best value. Added veg of the day- green beans with garlic and butter- good, cooked properly al dente. Roasted garlic cloves were tasty, bread was good. Mahi mahi was good, presentation could be better. I managed a steakhouse for 10 years, early in my management career. Service was good except the server forgot to inform the chef to put the sauce "on the side" of the Grouper as I'd requested. As I suspected when I ordered, I didn't like the sauce, so I had to send it back. I like my broiled fish with lemon and butter. When I got it back, it was rubbery to chew! I suspect, they washed off the fish somehow and sent me the same piece recooked, or it wasn't fresh before cooked, or had been frozen prior to cooking. I expected to be served fresh caught fish while visiting on the the Florida coast. My wife ordered a "medium cooked" filet mignon. It was served rare/medium rare, and also was sent back. When she got it back, it was medium ... but the outside of the steak was leathery. Additionally, our friend, who had ordered lamb, had a piece that wasn't fully cooked. Otherwise "the presentation" of all the food ordered by our party, did "look" very appealing. Our bill, for my wife and I, which didn't include the cost of our friends' meals, was close to $150 total. (Without any alcohol drinks) Nothing was offered to "make-up" for sending both entrees back, not even a complementary dessert. Overall, we were absolutely ... very, very, unimpressed with Gregory's. We've wintered in Cocoa Beach for 6 years, had been looking forward to trying Gregory's, and would have preferred to leave a "glowing" review. Sadly, this was our experience! read more

We both got 2 different alcoholic drinks as well as a ribeye steak dinner and a seafood plank dinner. Beautiful and Scrumptious!!! My husband's Angus New York steak (he ordered rare) was well done, chewy not tender. Charred black. It can be easy to miss Gregory's and honestly im embarrassed to say that I've been here this long and only been here this one time tonight. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and seated by the staff. Our excellent server took our cocktail order and delivered promptly. The French75 and Manhattan were expertly crafted and delicious. The melon ball martini too was a nice follow up. Tonight was prime rib night so I ordered it medium with au gratin potatoes. A shrimp cocktail and ceasar to start. The shrimp cocktail was a nice size and very fresh and tasty. The ceasar was delicious and a generous portion. The prime rib was expertly prepared and every bite a wonder. The au gratin potatoes was masterful, flavorful, and finely executed. Dessert was a heavenly slice of tiramisu, a Irish coffee accompanied. Visiting Cocoa Beach, we craved a good meal so found Gregory's. For me, a 3.5 overall experience; service was a solid 4.0, and food was 3-3.5. Collin was very attentive, friendly and provided efficient service, ensuring all 6 of us were satisfied with drinks, each course served etc. I liked the food overall, but thought some preparation was not as spectacular as I hoped for the meal price; and the wine we chose showed a different year (2014) than what was served/available (2017). Entree meals came with a side dish, and cost was ~$30-40pp depending what main course you ordered. They did have a couple specials on the board, but we all chose steak tonight; it was nice they had different size cuts depending how hungry you felt. Most selected soup or salad as a starter, and we did not get apps knowing we'd have a big entree. French Onion soup was quite salty, but flavorful with soft onions and beef broth, bread slices and topped with gooey melted cheese - yum! Others ordered the Clam Chowder, served piping hot and full of chunky potatoes, clams and veggies. Everyone tonight ordered either the Delmonico (signature) or a Filet. Delmonico was cooked to order and served atop grilled onions with melting blue cheese butter slice, plus a side of wild rice, baked or garlic mashed potato, vegetable of day, or twice-baked potato (extra charge). My steak was good, but not great; it needed salt as it was bland and had quite a bit more 'fat' than I expected. It was certainly filling and plenty to eat! We ordered extra sides to share of Mushrooms, Sautéed Spinach and Asparagus with hollandaise. Veggies tonight were either slightly overcooked or undercooked, but they did compliment the main meal nicely. Of the three, I thought the spinach was the best. We have dined with Colin twice, and been in four times overall so far. Every time has been on Tuesday for the prime rib special and every time has been fantastic. Excellent service and charming atmosphere. The clam chowder is delicious (and I'm from Boston). The prime rib is seasoned perfectly and the au jus is fantastic. The twice baked potato just can't be skipped. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Prices are reasonable. More brightly lit, which might make it feel less intimate. Went here with a bunch of people a couple of weeks ago. The decor is nice. I ordered a Ribeye with a twice baked potato and house vegetables. The ribeye was cooked right and was good. The twice baked potato was excellent. The house vegetables were ok. Someone at the table ordered the twin lobster tails and they looked amazing. The service was excellent. All in all, it was a good dining experience. My only problem is that for the price the restaurant could have a better cut of steak. I have been to many steakhouses in the past and this steak would not cut it compared to a real steakhouse. read more

Our waiter Connor was very friendly, the Appletini tasted delicious and the bread was oh so yummy ( the best part of the meal)those are the pluses:) now for the negatives : unfortunately the steaks were a little overpriced for what you got the prices should have been more along the lines of a Texas Roadhouse price point, everywhere I go I always order filet mignon and I know exactly how it should taste,this one,although cooked to Perfection had no seasoning at all, it definitely needed salt and pepper at least. Cocoa Beach seems to lack a selection of fine-dining establishments so Gregory's was one of our (and apparently the astronauts') few options. We were NOT disappointed. We made a reservation for a late winter Saturday night and arrived early to enjoy a libation at the bar. The bartender was friendly and I was pleased to see Warsteiner on draught. My wife ordered a glass of the house pinot noir. After this, we asked the hostess, the delightful Mrs. Bradford, to show us to our table. Mike was our server and he thoroughly explained the evening's specials. I ordered a refill and my wife asked for his recommendations for another glass of pinot noir, as she wasn't very satisfied with the house glass. Mike brought out two decently-priced options for her to sample, which was appreciated. My wife ordered one of the evening specials - a NY Strip topped with crab-stuffed shrimp and a side of mushroom risotto. I ordered the Delmonico ribeye but topped it with their peppercorn sauce instead of the blue cheese butter (as I despise blue cheese) and upgraded my side to a twice-baked potato. We shared an order of moules marinière (PEI mussels in wine, garlic and herbs), which was also a special for the night. The mussels were delightful, as are all moules marinière. They weren't served with enough bread for dipping, but we quickly switched to the table bread and weren't disappointed. The steaks were both cooked to a perfect medium rare. The peppercorn (au poivre) sauce was good but I personally prefer mine with more whole pepper kernels. The twice-baked was excellent - crispy on top and fluffy and creamy inside. The risotto was good but looked and felt more like of a mash. ... Needless to say, we skipped dessert after the above. I did take my leftover Delmonico back to the hotel room fridge and thoroughly enjoyed eating it for breakfast. Pricey? Yes, but it's fine dining and the total was actually less than I was expecting for such quality service and food.
