Smug and righteous attitude. I don't use a phone to read menus and they didnt have a printed menu. The young guy "helping" me told me it was to prevent the spread of covid and acted as if I should get with the program re covid and not waste paper. This pissed me off because I have elderly parents and have been very very careful. The solution is simple. Have a few menus in plastic and wipe it down after or have disposable menus JUST for the few people who dont have a phone. The waste is negligible compared to what they are probably wasting in other ways and the covid risk is negligible compared to the risk of simply being there. Cute little bar. Bartender was nice and friendly. Had the Espresso Martini and it was very tasty. Nice atmosphere and definitely good variety of cocktails. They have all the old school board games and Cards Against Humanity. Will definitely be stopping in next time we are in town. read more

What to do on a Thursday night while in Burlington? We headed to Drink for a sampling of martinis and other assorted libations. Nice crowd, kinda young, very loud, but a nice vibe. I had two Iced Tea mojitos and the spinach artichoke dip while playing board games and lounging on the couch. Wow. Amazing. I could have stayed here all night and we did stay for a while but eventually it was time to go to dinner (please ignore the fact that this drinking took place in the afternoon). The people who were sitting nearby were friendly and we engaged in some idle chit chat while hanging out. Great place. Love the atmosphere, as it 'feels' like a very chill place. If you ever want to just have a drink (beer, martini, wine, etc.), relax, play a board game and just lounge... this is your place. If I had to 'nitpick', I would suggest this place slightly improve its inventory of board games, as some of the selections are missing pieces, but still a great place, nonetheless... one of my favorites in Burlington. read more

I went in to have a drink with my girlfriend on Saturday and was denied a drink by my bartender because he googled my North Carolina ID and it didn't match what he found when he "googled" it online. Bartender Evan was extremely smug and rude and told me he didn't feel comfortable serving me but he would still serve my girlfriend since she had a VT license. They need to update their system so when someone comes in with an out of state license they are at the mercy of the bartender's googling skills. Bartenders should be better trained in reading licenses as well as customer service. I had been to DRINK multiple times this past year since moving here and had never been denied. My girlfriend and I are planning on never returning and telling all of our friends and gay community about our negative experience. read more

This is a great place if you've been craving a visit to the DMV. The bartender snapped my brother-in-laws ID in half and then instead of acting apologetic in the slightest, accused him of having a fake ID because "Massachusetts IDs can't break." I used my credit card here a little while ago and they charged my card for the right amount, but I was charged out of North Carolina.. The place is a staple in town. Every night has a good inexpensive drink special, and the crowd is eclectic. Friendly bartenders. Could use a sprucing up with better seating. The sofas are too overstuffed and not conducive or comfortable for playing cards or a game with friends, you really need to score a table. If you go just yourself or a friend, sure grab a sofa and kick back, it's just a little off. BOARD GAMES ARE PROVIDED!! Muuuuuch better bars to go to in burlington. The inside is non-descript. There are a couple of couches and some table top games to play. Other than that, there is nothing really going on. They have infused vodka and some decent specials, but there is nothing really defining about the bar. It is esentially a wide open room. Would not go again. Not impressed. read more

We love this place as a first bar of the night, any night of the week kind of place. $2.00 switchbacks and $3.00 drafts on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays is pretty much the best deal in town. On other nights they have other fantastic drink specials- including great infused liquor drinks on Tuesdays for $4.00. They have tons of board games, including cards against humanity, comfy couches, and tvs! They don't have much food- two apps on the menu, usually a monthly special, and a wine accompaniment night. read more

I never usually go bar hopping but on this rare occasion this was one of my stops. I went in on a Saturday night and it wasn't packed like others downtown. Easily got a bar stool. I got the James Bond, basically gin and tonic but it was mixed perfectly, not to strong or watery. My girlfriend recommended the maple shots which were amazing! Awful service, the drink specials are nice but waiting at the bar for 10 minutes to order a drink and then having the bartender be rude and throw my credit card back at me like I'm somehow supposed to know they have a minimum was so rude. I generally go here during the happy hour (if there were one) time. It's usually fairly quiet and relaxing. If a larger group is visiting they can tend to take over the place because it is a big open space. I like that I can sit on the couches and look out at an interesting street corner. The drinks are just fine given that I generally order beer or wine. I'm not sure what the identity of the place is when it is busy but it suits my purposes extremely well and so I am a fan. read more

This bar is the place you go if you feel like having a drink and playing board games with your friends. It's really all about the game selection, there's a bunch. They have specials almost everyday of the week, but my favorite by far are their beer special days. i think its Sunday, Monday and Thursday? $2 switchbacks and $3 drafts (which have included lagunitas, allagash and founders). They have a few TVs with standard channels and board games. A fun place to come hang out during those normal weekday. I wouldn't choose to come here otherwise. Unfortunate experience at Drink tonight. My girlfriend and I went to have a drink before dinner. The male, blonde bartender working this Thursday night 12/6/2018 asks for our IDs so, I hand him my Massachusetts ID. The bartender begins bending it multiple times until it ultimately snaps. He condescendingly tells me that an ID should never break. Laughing because I'm 27 years old and indeed did not provide him a fake ID, I said "you just broke my ID." His response was to then pull out his Connecticut ID and bend it right in my face. Not sure how you can compare the two?? Then asked if I could provide back up, so I pulled out every credit card in my wallet. His response "A real ID shouldn't break." He clearly was on a power trip. I understand you are in a college town and worry about under age, but you were 100% in the wrong. Now I have a broken ID and need to pay the $60 to replace. I will be reaching out to management. Hopefully they will be more reasonable than this bartender. read more

Stopped here with a friend for some drinks one night. Atmosphere was fine, but the liquor selection was limited and I wasn't impressed with the drink menu. I prefer classic cocktails and while they had some mainstays, there was nothing exciting or unusual to try. I stuck with a rye manhattan and it was pretty meh. Board games were a nice touch, but they whole place felt a little immature. Unfortunately, it's about the closest thing to a nice cocktail joint as one can find in Burlington, so I guess I'll stick to mixing my own drinks for guests in the future. read more

I really enjoy this bar. The bartender we always have, Issac, is funny but professional. He is always excited to see us, remembers our names and favorite drinks, etc. Definitely more of a low key vibe too it, but I think that is part of the charm. Drink is our go to bar of choice when we are in the Burlington area and are looking for a low-key place to find a good drink special. In my opinion the best day to come is Tuesday for $4 Heady Topper and $4.50 Citizen Cider specials. You really can't beat the prices, since you are practically getting them at cost. It a good place to go if you are looking to have nice conversation and decent service. They offer a lot of different board games to play if you are into that kind of thing. The crowds are generally varied in ages, but some nights it's completely filled with college students from the nearby university. A great place to go if you are in the area. read more

Went in on a Saturday night and there were 10 people in the bar, including my party of four and the employees. The lazy bartender made it very obvious that we were inconveniencing him by trying to buy drinks. It looked like the furniture was picked up on the side of the road.
