This bar is a good stop-by kinda place. Went in for a drink and some quick bites. There was a good crowd and it was dimly lit like most bars. Got Yuengling, Aeprol Spritz, Chicken Quesadilla, and Hot&Honey Chicken Wings. Aeprol Spritz was a bit bitter and not sweet enough for my taste. The food was okay, the chicken was soft inside and kinda hard outside and the Chicken in the Quesadilla wasn't my favorite. I guess that's how bar foods are? We had a great time here. A quaint little dive bar with affordable drinks and specials during the week. Tvs played movies and flashed clips from all the sporting events going on that day around the US. Also lots of funky decor inside annnd classic rock on the radio. We had a sweet server who did a good job of checking in on us. We stopped by for a happy hour on a Tuesday, which lasts from 5-7:30 pm. The pub had taco Tuesday special, only $1 tacos! They weren't the best tacos you'll ever have but for $1 and with drinks, totally worth it. The fried pickles were good but I would've liked them to be a bit saltier and for thicker ranch. On a Saturday night around 8 they weren't super crowded. We came and sat at the tables in the back of the first floor. We ordered some food and it was all great. I had the chicken tenders and fries and my friend ordered the nachos and they were HUGE. The service was a bit unfriendly. we were ordering at the table I felt as though they were taking too long and not keeping a good eye on us. I also will comment they added gratuity on my check but didn't let me know which I wasn't a huge fan of. All in all the food and drinks are good and the bar tenders were really nice. read more

Some girlfriends and I enjoyed Drinkers Pub on the last Center City Sips night of the season and overall we had a good time and enjoyed the food. The service was very good. No complaints from the young lady that serviced our table. She worked very hard that evening. I enjoyed the $1 chicken tacos and for $1 they were not full but satisfying. I also ordered the $1 hot dog and a hot dog is a hot dog. No complaints there. I tried the cheesesteak egg roll which was good. It had a different taste than what I've had before but I enjoyed it. My IPA beer was cold but nothing to brag about (I don't even remember the name of it). The Birthday Cake shots were cute and yummy. The Long Island iced tea was just okay. The place is on the dark side and the bathrooms upstairs in the back hallway are very small but clean (at least when I went into one). read more

This is a good dive bar for a stop on a fun night out. They have a decent on tap selection, I enjoyed the something sour. They could easily make the drinks we asked for (sometimes it's hit or miss in the city at dive bars) We didn't have any food so I can't speak to that, but the staff at the bar was keeping up with a busy crowd and remaining friendly. Oh wow. I can't say enough good things about this place. Came in around 4 on a Friday. There was a group of kind of loud guys derping around but otherwise the vibe was very chill. Relaxing. The bartenders are super cool and friendly. The place is divey without feeling dirty. Very old-school Philly, kinda hole-in-the-wall. And the drinks! Delicious. Had an excellent time at Drinker's Pub. The drinks and bar food were reasonably priced. The bar is a bit on the dark side but they had TV's all over the places so you were able to watch the game from any angle. All the time we were there (Saturday night) they played great music-80's, 90's and recent music. The crowd was great the staff was excellent-quick to take care of you and quick to bring you your food. We absolutely enjoyed our time there. The music was loud but the atmosphere was great. Brought back great memories with the music. Sometimes you don't need all of the extras, just good quick cheap drinks with just a bit of bar food to spend some time. Loved it. read more

Ahhh the memories.....seems like it has been 15 years since I first came here and had a 40oz in the bar...... you can still get an entire 40oz from the bartender for $4.50 during happy hour by the way. Many other yelpers have commented this is a stop in pub for a drink or two, I agree and also agree this place gets packed very quickly. Came here after a comedy show at helium and went to the second floor to relax and take in the sight of the city. It was peaceful and relaxing until about thirty minutes later when this place was packed! Mostly 20's to early 30's crowd later in the evening. I highly recommend this spot if you fit in that age range and if not come in for happy hour maybe your make some new friends or get plastered and hit on who you want who am I to tell you how to drink at drinker's! The food menu is very cheaply priced with great deals. The last time I got food here I thought it was average bar food but haven't eaten any of there food items this decade so take the food review with a grain of salt. First time going out for a drink in Philly since COVID and had an excellent experience here. There is a nice booth out on Chestnut street where you can order your drinks from. Then they have ample seating on the sidewalk and on the side of the street along 19th street. They also have TVs and sound hooked up for outside if you're main goal is to watch sports there which is great. Alcohol selection isn't huge at the moment but its fine. Prices are very reasonable. Then we had the taco nachos and honestly, they were fantastic. We were just looking for something random to snack on but they were delicious! A huge helping and covered with cheese and lots of delicious toppings. Walked inside to go to the bathroom. No way to get close to the bar for the workers safety. We've been here a couple times before but recently came back with friends. We wanted to go somewhere nicer but they wanted to go somewhere that had music and cheap drinks. Last time they had more of a selection of beers and a list to pick from. I remember having a couple of decent fruity beers. I asked the bartender if he had a drink menu but said there wasn't one. I felt rushed and didn't want a regular beer, so I just told him to make me a fruity mixed drink. He made the standard bay breeze drink which I was kind of disappointed in. I feel like this is the standard lazy drink that every bartender makes when you ask for a fruity drink because they don't want to make any effort making something else. I wanted something a little stronger, but I guess that's my fault for not ordering anything specific. I didn't notice they had cans of cider beer until my friend got one. I would have ordered that instead if I had known. It feels like a college bar scene with the loud music, sticky floors, and people bumping into you. I've been coming here for about 7 years now, ever since I moved in Philly. This is a common undergrad hangout place and extends to grad school and actual adulthood too, lol. Its a classic dive bar that's got patrons coming in all day long. The food's decent, drinks are well-priced, and its got a bar downstairs and a club-kinda scene upstairs! Always make a stop here for Erin Express! Atmosphere: 100% casual. I mean you can always dress up or come after a night out for some quick food/drinks, but its as casual as bars go. All kinds of people come here from college students to people working in finance in center city. Its often very loud. The music is actually super loud and when combined with the conversations people have, it can be nearly impossible to hear your own party talking. Ive never had a day where I can talk at normal room volume. Plenty of tables and seating options. Food: I always get the drinkers tacos. Their taco sauce at the tables is to die for, literally makes the meal. Tacos are $1 on Tuesdays and delicious. I get bean tacos with come with beans lettuce tomatoes and sour cream. My friends usually get the chicken tacos which they enjoy. They come in hard and soft varieties. Ive had the french fries as well, they're sub-par at best. Go to Five Guys and get better ones down the street haha. Drinks: Usually, I get a rum and coke, but they have everything. In undergrad i'd frequent the LITs or trashcans which are well-priced at happy hour (just like $10 for drinks that have 3-4 shots in them), but these days its vodka soda or rum n coke. They have low-end spirits and high-end spirits. Service: Usually its not too bad when empty, but sometimes the service can be terrible during happy hour time because there is often only 1 or 2 waitresses/waiters working the entire bar. Last time, I had to get my own check, give my own card, and give back the receipt bc they were so busy, but its fine! Still worth it! Would 100% come back. So was across the street at the Gap Outlet & trying to check in on Foursquare when I was given the option to check in here. The name intrigued me so after not buying anything at the Gap due to super long checkout line me & my girls headed across the street for a snack & drink. The 3 of us ladies wander in to a completely empty bar. Saddle up to the bar & put in our drink orders. My friends both order some cider. I'm tempted by a local Yards brewing company Pale Ale & ask for a taste. Bartender obliges but I am not impressed so I go with the ever trustworthy Leinenkugels. :) My 2 pals both opt for the "drinkers taco". Kind of like a cross between a taco & a tamale. It was a masa dough wrapped around shredded chicken & deep fried. Topped with shredded lettuce, tomatoes & guacamole sauce. YUMMO!!! I could easily have eaten 2 of those. Instead I had the Texas Hot Dog. A bacon wrapped cheese filled hot dog that was deep fried & topped with some beans, chipotle aioli, shredded lettuce, tomatoes & guacamole sauce. Thank God I went to the gym that morning. ;) Ordered it with the fries for an extra $2 that were delicious. Would love to go back & get one of their french fry dishes.
