What really stood out to me asside from the quick and hospitable service was Mr. Hassan at the cashier. He was genuine kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Visited this place for a sweet treat with family. I opted for the Biscoff Babayyy- vanilla ice cream served atop fresh hot churros with biscoff accents and chocolate chips. I enjoyed this despite not being a huge fan of sweets. The design of the establishment is warm and inviting and the staff was patient and helpful in navigating the menu. The furniture is a bit worn down but still useful. They offer a variety of skillet cookies, milkshakes, and waffles with an assortment of toppings. Dropped by with some friends after some lunch. First time visiting the place. Interior was pleasantly designed and clean with well lit areas Menu was QR code only so no physical menu. Service was quick upon ordering. My friends had a Biscoff flavored shakes with tres leches cake I had the cookie Dream Belgian waffle, it was a bit pricey but still enjoyed it. I can see myself coming back here again with more friends and family as well. Great post lunch or dinner dessert place, I recommend it. read more

Saw this place as it was being built and anticipated coming after a Houston food reviewer posted some items on IG. They have so many options you can mix and match and my friends and i definitely have sweet tooth's. When I arrived it was packed. All except two tables were full or dirty. There was a huge puddle of water under one table. Syrups and smeared ice cream all over others. There were about 4 ppl working from what I could see. The two guys making desserts were moving very slowly but probably to ensure items were visually appealing. The young lady taking orders was very polite, patient and helpful to all guests. There was one person working in the kitchen probably making churros and other hot items. Many ppl came in for to go orders as well which may have increased the wait time. For made to order items I would say the wait wasnt terrible even though it was long. However I got a simple soft serve with rainbow sprinkles. In a bowl not a cone and that took 15-20 mins. The young lady working the register aplogized for the wait but honestly they were clearly understaffed for the amount of traction they have right now. She mentioned that 2 servers called out. Went to @dripdessert for some late night desserts. nice place to just kick back order dessert and coffee and relax. we order a slice of carrots cake and Ferrero rocher cheesecake, and a mocha iced coffee. overall both the cakes were good, and so was the iced coffee. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

After dinner we were looking for a something sweet and stumbled upon this little place. It seemed new and well decorated on the side. Felt cool , trendy and modern with the (appeared like) moon lighting. My party ordered a fondue with fruit and marshmallow and I ordered a peanut butter parfait. The fondue seemed simple but hit the spot . My peanut parfait appeared to look good but as a few minutes went by it went a bit south. Going on a Friday night they clearly had some traffic. I never received a spoon with my parfait so everyone started on the fondue and I had to get up and go to counter (with no one there everyone busy making orders) to get a spoon. They finally give me one and I came back to eat, the contents have melted a bit. Okay no problem. What I did see if very little ice cream , just mostly nuts and peanut butter candy etc. it was about half way in that basically all that looked was left was a chocolate slush of stuff. Then trouble hit yet again as the spoon was so wide and the parfait glass narrow at the bottom. That is couldnt scope anything left. So now I started eating my parfait like a milkshake. It was a bit odd and at the end of it, I felt like the parfait was "just okay" and more like something I could have made at home. Grand opening of a local business. The setting is that of a classic boutique cafe with nice decor. The food was ok, however the chaos of grand opening took away from the quality in my opening. The service was awful because the staff didn't have clear understand with so many owners giving orders. What should've taken 20min to get 3items, took 2hrs. We tried Drip Dessert (not Desert) for the first time yesterday. My daughters wanted funnel cake. Yes, they have funnel cake at this location. It's not listed on the menu, but, the funnel cake comes with different topping options or a build-your-own version. We just wanted the carnival style, (named OG Funnel Cake) plain with powdered sugar. The batter was delicious and it was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, soft and bready inside. You may have to ask for extra sugar, because ours had spots which were uncovered, however, the batter has a little sweetness to make up for the bare spots. I completely recommend this lovely little dessert restaurant as a family or date outing. We will be back. read more

Fairly busy business but they handle the rush with great customer service and welcoming attitudes. The employees work hard to keep tables clean as customers leave out. The cheesecakes are great because you can tell they are made by hand. The skillet cookies were fresh and you can tell are made to order. Drawing out a wonderful date night, so we came to Drip--had passed by many times, curious. It did not disappoint! We ordered a Dubai cheesecake. Delicious! Contrasting textures and clearly distinct flavors. Cool pistachio almond ice cream, and truly New York creamy cheesecake. Wow! My wife ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte. She said it Ed perfect. The presentation was pretty, and I wanted something sweet and it definitely delivered on that. But I probably wouldn't go back. I ordered the funnel cake and was excited at first, but it turned out too hard. Not sure if it was just a dense batter or maybe premade and reheated. Please get your act together before you open a place. It took us an hour to get 3 milkshakes and that too were incomplete. There was water spilled on the floor and nobody bothered to clean it up all the while we were there. We were actually asked to sit at the table around which all water was there. read more

This dessert place might have good desserts but they're so expensive and they're not worth the money, they also have the longest waiting time since they don't staff enough servers during their shift, and they do frequently run out of things like cups?? or ITEM MENUS?? they ALSO overwork their employees and pay LATE!
