This place is full of friendly people and in a great location to experience the wilderness around Chautauqua Lake. They have tent sites, R.V. sites and clean, cool, cabins. The cabins are an excellent value. They include a fan, fridge, electricity, water, and bunk beds. Outside there is a fireplace ring with a picnic table. All you need. The park is right next to the Chautauqua Gorge State park, offering exceptional hikes, gorge swimming and fishing opportunities minutes from the campground. There are many options for exploration and hiking on the 45 acres offered by the campground. We found many fossils and other interesting wilderness keepsakes. If you are looking for lodging the next time your in Chautauqua New York, check this place out, they have awesome options including luxury cabins with Air Conditioning and other quality amenities. Tom and Amy, along with Bailey and Lola, are wonderful and accommodating hosts that take great pride in their establishment, and it truly shows! The cabin was clean, rustic and positively adorable! It was also well stocked with all of the essentials so you only really need to bring food and clothes! It was the perfect place to unplug, relax and unwind. The cabins are separated enough from each other to feel secluded, and they are close to trails and the are sites. Absolutely cannot wait to go back!
