The food and drinks are also so obviously fresh and well presented it just sets the tone for a nice relaxing break. Pricing is reasonable and you have to consider the great service and sitting in the open air overlooking the ocean with delicious drink and snack. Such a great vibe here and not to be missed if you have some time or are looking to take a break and check out for a few.

This charming little café has such a relaxed, local feel. It's tucked upstairs above what seems to be a coffee roasting area, which adds to its cozy, tucked-away vibe. The coffee was delicious- fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want before heading out on an adventure. What really makes this spot stand out, though, is the view. You get a beautiful oceanfront backdrop while you sip your drink, making it a perfect place to slow down for a bit. It's also super convenient, located right off the main road, so it's an easy and worthwhile stop. Overall, it's a cute and scenic coffee shop that's perfect for a quick break; highly recommend if you're in the area.

It's a nice mom and pop feel with a pane of pexi-glass between tables. It feels like private tables. I had a cup of coffee served in a nice ceramic cup labeled with their name on it. I had a bowl of loco moco which was very good. The gravy was well seasoned and it went well with the white rice. The hamburger itself was flavorful and heavy, just the way I like it. I was here years ago and finally got a chance to drop in. I will be back soon to try other items.

The kama'aina fried rice was filled with lots of meat: bacon, spam, ham, and Portuguese sausage. It was pretty good. The pancake flight was okay. Would've been better if I could choose the pancakes. Overall, the lilikoi pancake was the best! I didn't too much favor the chocolate taro-haupia or the cookie butta lava. The Kalua pork omelette was good, but I wish there was more meat inside. All the portions were very generous. The only thing we didn't like was that everything was overloaded with onions. And I LOVE onions, but even I thought it was too much. For that reason, my family didn't care too much for their meals. Overall, we had a fair experience. Seating is a little tight, but we were still comfortable. The only inconvenience was the bathroom on the top floor, which can be difficult when you have little kids.

The potato Mac salad was a good cool down n' to cleanse the palate. I'm already wanting it all again, which means everything was Ono!

Ho'olana is the main coffee shop for the Ritz Carlton, meaning that you can expect a big line for that coffee rush in the morning. We got their iced strawberry matcha latte, which was really good, sweet, and had dairy substitutes available. We also got a banana bread and a muffin, both of which were okay, but not great. We came back the next day and got their banana bread latte was good, and has more of that caffeine kick if that's what you're looking for. We also ordered the açaí bowl, which was definitely pricey for the size, AND they ran out of strawberries, which was unfortunate. The açaí bowl was okay, but not worth the price for what it was. You can skip this one. The most notable thing, though, was the customer service. The ladies taking orders and preparing the pre-made food were very poor in customer service, help, and not willing to assist what-so-ever. They always seemed annoyed that people were ordering, and put a damper on the overall whole cafe experience. My grandma, who wanted to come here for her birthday in the morning, had additionally wanted to ask them what time they opened, as they had just closed, but instead of answering the question, or referring her online, they cut her off and said that they were closed, so they won't be assisting further. If you want anything other than a drink or a pastry, like a sandwich, then you should also expect a pre-made sandwich ALL with mustard and mayonnaise. All of them (is at least what they said when we asked if any didn't have that.) Thankfully, the view from the windows in the coffee lounge seating area makes up for some of the bad vibes.

Well, a second bite of the cherry ( an English/British idiom ) and I have to say I enjoyed it this time. Blueberry syrup wasn't too sweet. I may not have mixed it well, previously. If I recall correctly, I've had their Iced Black Sesame and Iced Hojicha - not Kinako ( must be thinking of another café ) - Lattes. All quite good. Minimalistic, modern interior design ...makes for a nice cafe experience...but i got my beverage for takeaway. I like the green-tiled countertop. Open from 630a till 330p, weekdays. Weekends they are open from 800a to 200p. Parking shared with other establishments in the building on Halemaumau Street - try saying that 3x, fast. I parked in the Niu Valley Shopping Center where there are lots of stalls.
