Bought a remanned alternator in January. Also had to change out a brake booster and power steering…read moresystem at the same time. So I had to first find all the parts for my Vehicle and get them ordered, this took a little bit of time. So got it all put together. Fired up the beast. Seemed to be good. Then battery not charging shows up on the dumby panel. New (remanned) alternator doesn't charge. Took it back and wouldn't ya know it. I don't even have a phone number there anymore. So my lack of receipt is now the issue motal Of the story. Have them check the alternator before you leave the store. Because even though the manager knew it was sold from him, he couldn't do anything since I was no longer in the system under my phone number and it also showed I hadnt been there since 2013. So I bought someone else's old alterator. NICE!!!! Stopped in on busy day after being waylaid for the night because of a snow storm. One of our tires…read morewas losing pressure. Despite their full schedule, Hagen said he would try to squeeze us in. Turns out we had a screw in the tire. While waiting, we watched the team help others. Seth and Jordan were knowledgeable, professional and kind with every customer. The place ran like a well-oiled machine. Lol. Hagen removed and patched our tire for us. And when we pulled our credit card out, he said, "No charge". We tipped and told him to buy the boys a beer. These guys are marvelous professionals…read more I stopped in with my RV because I had a couple of issues that need to be checked out. It didn't involve buying new tires because diagnosis of the problem with under inflation was unknown - it could've been a defective tire or tire with a nail in it. Also, the readings for tire gauge with it were different from the tire, pressure management system, signaling that perhaps one or the other might be faulty. I had these folks look into it. they figured out tge solutions in about 15 minutes. Can't say enough good things about this place or the staff and management. Discount tire doesn't usually charge customers for air checks and top offs. But if they help you out as they did me I suggest you leave this guys who did the work a cash tip. Discount tire will get my next tire business.

Even if they changed their business practices i would never trust them again. Had them install a…read morenew transmission in a Chevy diesel 6.5, they broke every wire in the harness going to transmission, they repaired the harness with butt connectors & electrical tape & never mentioned a word about it! They also pinched the starter wire between the block & transmission! & to top it all off they used the old torque converter. Who does that? Charged us 5500.00 & caused us so much down time & extra costs in repairs for damage they did. Granted, you can always blame the mechanic assigned to perform the work, but it's always the owners name & responsibility to verify the work was done properly. Which they failed miserably. Because of their unprofessional attitude, the way they treat customers, i don't appreciate being yelled at or threatened. I do have witnesses, the corners that were cut, & repairing the other damage caused by their carelessness, not checking over completed work before it leaves their shop, is it any wonder so many people go to rapid to have work performed professionally? Go ahead & roll the dice if you want, but if you want to gamble, there's casinos in town. Your odds of winning are no doubt greater there!
