I have had two repair jobs on my Jeep with John's Auto over the past year and I've been very pleased with their service. Recently I needed a fuel pump replaced that required lowering the fuel tank, an expensive and messy job with a rusted skid plate that needed replacement. The owner, John Belai, was very understanding, professional and helpful; he even followed up to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. In addition to some of the specifics mentioned in my previous review (see below), there have been several instances where Ankers could have just recommended the more expensive route to fix something, but chose to allow us to make an informed decision by trying alternatives or doing things incrementally so that it could be determined if a smaller fix would suffice. All this without sacrificing the integrity of the car, though. It is such a relief to know you are going to receive competent and honest work on one of the major financial investments you make: your vehicle. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The staff worked on the truck for a good while to determine if there was damage. After a while, they determined that a dealer may be able to provide a more thorough diagnostic. We are only getting our truck back TODAY (radiator) and will bring it to a local dealer for a more thorough diagnostic. Everything that could go wrong went wrong; we had to postpone our trip to see family until the fall; the rental place had no more cars until the next day. I've had no problems with this car shop until they put a rusted used catalytic converter which i…read morepaid $1231 for a new catalytic converter. They welded that with my muffler and other parts. As they welded it together they used to much heat which damaged the honeycomb inside and pieces broke off inside which caused got clogging and could have caused a fire being the gas couldn't come out the muffler. I was obviously taken advantage of being i am a woman and that was completely WRONG. I am a single mother of two children and our safety comes first and obviously they were only thinking about the money and not our safety. I also brought my car to two different mechanics that said the same thing. Thankfully they refunded me back the money yesterday 2/3/22 to be able to pay for my car to get fixed somewhere else.
