I said yeah why not. They did it the second I left I get a noise from the back of my car. I went right back and they told me if it continues at the next service then I should go see a mechanic for it so I listened to their instructions and I come back with the noise still for the next oil change. They said bring it to a mechanic. I brought it to my mechanic and my mechanic told me my entire differential is destroyed. So I called the claim center and they started a claim and the person that did the work is the one who did the investigation. That person told me that they did nothing wrong and they're going to decline my claim. Meanwhile, I now have a $5000 repair to make for work that they did wrong. I escalated the claim and nobody else got back to me. They told me that they did nothing wrong and there's nothing more that they are going to do. Now I have to pay because of their mistakes. Imagine having a slogan as a service you can trust.

When I checked back at 1:30 PM, they told me, "You're next," so I figured it would only be a few more minutes. When I returned at 3:00 PM, my truck still hadn't even been moved into the shop for the inspection. After having my vehicle for over 3 hours, they hadn't started one of the simplest services they offer. I had to leave without getting the inspection because I needed to get back to work for a meeting. If they were running behind, I would have appreciated an honest update instead of being told I was "next" again and again. This was on a brand-new truck, so there wasn't even any repair work involved, just a routine inspection. Extremely disappointing experience. I won't be bringing any of my vehicles back to Firestone.

This is my third time at Monro Muffler in Rotterdam in the past two months. The first two visits were for tires on two different vehicles. They were able to accommodate me on consecutive days, which really helped me out. They gave me a great price on tires, better than other places I checked, and they offered recommendations at different price points without any pressure to go with the most expensive option. I appreciated that. Ed at the front desk was personable, helpful, and professional. I was very pleased with both appointments. Fast forward to this week when I needed my car inspected ASAP. I knew it was coming due, but I had a vacation planned and was going to handle it when I returned. A snowstorm messed up my plans, I could not get back when expected, and I had to cancel my dealership appointment. When I tried to reschedule, they were booked out a few weeks. A couple quick oil change places could not get me in until midweek either. I remembered my previous experiences at Monro on Chrisler Ave and called on my way to work. I told Ed I needed it done as soon as possible. He said he could take care of it that day and told me what time to bring it in. He got me in right away just like he said he would. It was done quickly and effortlessly. No attempt to sell me anything, just exactly what I asked for. Friendly interaction, great service, and consistency all three times. If I need tires, brakes, or mufflers in the future, this is where I am going.

Well this was not an exciting experience at all. Got done with work at 4 hopped in my car and ran…read moreover to Valvoline hoping to get my vehicle inspected and get my oil change completed because I work and do not have time to get done any other time but when I'm finished with work. I pulled in and the gentleman who came to my window asked me what I wanted and when I told him he said well we only do inspections from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. which to me is amazing especially when it when recently no one had been able to get their vehicles inspected. Then, I told him I wanted an oil changed and he told me "well the is only two of us on so you are going to have a wait, because someone just pulled in and someone is right after them, it is first come first serve, so, if you want to wait you can". This struck me as odd because I did not see where he wanted me to stay with the way it was said to me. When I asked if anyone else in the area does inspections he said I have no idea I am not from around here and I left. I worked for businesses like this in the past, and I will tell as stressed out as I got I never spoke to a customer in that way to make them feel unwanted. I went there for every oil change and every inspection for the past 4 years but unfortunately I will but going elsewhere to do my business, that just turned me off. On another note I am sure he was probably having a bad day. That is not an excuse get out of the feild if you can not talk the pressure of the job. I am giving you am opinion right now and want you to decide on your own merit whether or not you would like to frequent this establishment, so please try it out you may have a completely different experience than I, but ask for me I am loyal to a fault but when I feel like I am no longer wanted I take my business elsewhere. My wife had issues with her tires, so she went to Caruso's for an alignment and tires Only 8 months…read morelater i had to take her car to another place for new tires. Color me shocked when they showed me the Alignment report on why she had 2 rear tires going bald on the outside where even the steel belts were showing on one. Even hitting a pothole every day for 6 months couldn't have screwed up her alignment that bad. They have no idea what they are doing regarding alignment to the point they either don't even do it, or they have incompetent employees taking short cuts. I would recommend you not visit them for anything related to alignments or tires. Within 8 months you will probably have the same issue and be out another 1k+. Absolutely ridiculous to take advantage like that.

Had 4 tires put on mounted and balanced. A week later i had to bring back becausse of slow leak…read more Took a trip car drove badly upon inspecction i found that all 4 tires had an issue. Didnt replace 2 valve stems all tires had to be remounted and balanced again. The weights were just sliding around.thank God we made it home safe. I had to take the car to glenville walmart to get this corrected. Very disapointed to say the least. Tire technician Omesh told me the car was safe to drive with being out of balance and leaking air.
