That is a blatant lie. She falsely advertises having instructors that won't return. She advertised classes she hasn't offered in years. A very unethical business. I cannot emphasize it enough to not give any money to this studio if it even remains open any longer. Bridges have been burned & she is out good qualified instructors & customers. You DID keep the money in my account at your business when you chose to not allow me to take classes. Legal records are easily validated. You do have multiple lawsuits from failing to pay your debts in excess of $65k. All public record. I have no police record as you falsely claimed. No police or any legal/law entity has ever served me about visiting your your business. Nor do I have any other legal history with police. You claiming this blatant lie is defamation. I honored your text request to not return to the studio to redeem classes purchased & asked (via text) that you refund the money in my account that was now owed as a result of your decisions to not allow me in your business. Please return the money. It is long overdue to me. You have stated here in this public arena that you refuse to allow me in your business thus confirming that a refund is due. That's how that works. Pure Barre in Toledo…read more I haven't been disappointed in the ethics of business like this in a long time. I bought a one month membership and was placed immediately, days after purchase, on a Covid wing assignment in Southern Ohio. I called back immediately and said I wouldn't be able to attend and can I please have a refund. I had not even taken one class. They said they would extend my membership by a week, which would do nothing so I sent them an email further clarifying the situation expecting them to be like, 'oh my goodness, we didn't understand, of course.' Their response was that, 'this is a really good deal.' I was shocked. I emailed them back in disbelief...'are you really not refunding me?' They didn't even have the courtesy to email me back. I was kind, polite and patient and they are literally stealing from clients as there was no exchange of goods for services paid. So if you have a busy schedule, or for any reason may need to cancel, these are the ethics of the people you are dealing with. Just go in knowing that.

I can handle rearranging some equipment and even closing the kids club, but if I can't get there because they close so doggone early it's not worth me paying for it. By the way, even though they cut out several hours per week of available gym time for clients, they did not cut out any of the very expensive monthly dues for members. This business is owned by ProMedica and if I didn't know any better I would think that they didn't care about encouraging people to live a healthy lifestyle, and that they only cared about money. And then I remembered that I am a ProMedica nurse and that is absolutely, 100%, the case! They made these changes to the hours from a financial standpoint, not thinking about their clientele or giving a crap if anyone actually visits the gym (so long as they pay their monthly dues).

As an adult, the frequency of my appointments has shifted -- meaning, I do not go 3-4 times a year as a part of a wellness plan (thanks, Mom!). This past January, I had an accident where I hit my head very hard. After the event, I had pain on both my head and my neck that didn't go away. My mom suggested that I go see Lisa for a session. At the appointment, Lisa very carefully listened to my concerns and within the first few minutes of my session, I could feel the release of tension. By the end of the day, I was walking completely differently feeling incredibly better. Highly recommended for general maintenance, ongoing wellness and, of course, if there is a serious 'incident'.
