Driver's Choice * is a god-send to any Porsche owners who cannot stomach the dealership prices or experience (SO snobbish!). They are reliable, their prices are reasonable, and they are a pleasure to deal with. I was leaking coolant and really worried. It took them forever to work me in, but when they did, I got the car in two days. I had a water pump that needed replacing, and all sorts of things that go with that. Took me just into 4-figures, and now I can drive it again (well, actually, there's a slew of other things too...). Miki is very pleasant to deal with in this altogether no BS place - and her doggies are adorable. My only 'complaint' is that it took over a week to work me in! That means: A) They are busy, because customers are coming back, and referring others to them, and ...B) Porsches need a lot of TLC. That's "German engineering" for ya! * They can't quite decide whether they are "Drivers Choice", "Driver's Choice", or "Drivers' Choice", since their logo/listing all say the first, while in speaking of themselves they use the second; but not that I'm trying to be grammar teacher here, but it really needs to be the third. DCM are top notch!!! They did a street/performance Alignment on my 930 Turbo and the car is riding smooth again!! The whole team that I dealt with (Miki, Simon, and Shawn) were excellent and attentive to what I know about my car, and offered some insight to upgrades that would make my car even better. Shawn and Simon both spent at least 30 mins with me when I picked up the car to discuss the service performed, and some of my future plans for upgrades that I would like to do. These guys know their stuff and since it was my first visit, they were just getting familiar with my car's setup which is currently an HPDE-Track setup. I look forward to bringing my car back to DCM and taking the performance to the next level under their care and supervision. They were honest and more than fair with pricing and their opinions about some extensive work that I was told that I needed by another shop, in their opinion did not appear necessary. Great to get in with them and I look forward to their guidance and expertise when service, maintenance, or upgrades are in order. Take your Porsche to DCM, you'll be happy you did!! I have a 2014 991.1 and until recently, all my service and repairs were done by Porsche South Orlando. I bought my CERTIFIED car from this dealership and almost has $28,000 in repairs in 3 years. About 8k was out of pocket and the extended warranty covered 20k Transmission replacement. Makes me question PSO CPO cars... Just recently, a cooling system fault appeared on my dash and I sent it over to the dealership. They wanted $5,700 to replace a heater vacuum solenoid. I told them the price was unacceptable so I had my car towed and sent it over Drivers Choice in Longwood. Long story short, Drivers choice only charged me $496.91 for the repairs! They took good care of my car and they were so easy to work with and very professional! Porsche South Orlando lost my business and will never go back to that dealership.. Driver's Choice Motors recently saved me a lot of cash and were really good doing business with. They are a no BS service center and did not try to take advantage by saying I needed all kinds of work done, as was my experience with the Porsche Orlando South dealership. They have been in the same location for 15 years, have nothing but great reviews, are certified, and only work on Porsches. The dealership said I needed a new starter, new front level sensor mounts, and a new battery, at $399 hr. labor. Driver's choice diagnosed and checked out my car and said I only needed a new battery. They put in the lithium battery and charged $150. an hr.. my car is running great! Was worth the tow from the dealership! read more

Brought my '99 Porsche 911 to these guys and I was very pleased with their service, price and attention to detail. They are really Porsche experts and care about doing things right. So awesome! They also were great about helping me with an additional problem that came up after my service and getting it taken care of. It's a bit of a drive to get to for me, but they get the problems taken care of and do not overcharge or do unnecessary work. This is my place for Porsche work. I called around to a number of shops asking about their service, experience and prices. A number of shops were very rude. One in particular I felt like I was asking forbidden questions. They just expected me to bring my car in and trust them because they had been servicing Porsche's for 60 years. And I couldn't even wait for my car to be serviced. I had to drop it off one day and pick it up the next. Not so with Drivers Choice Motors. They took the time to tell me about themselves, how and why they started their business, what their strengths were and they gave me examples of services they performed and the cost compared to the Porsche dealer. And they told me, certainly I could wait in their lounge while the car was being serviced. I took my car in for an oil service and inspection and I was not disappointed. They treated my car as their own, putting protective plastic on the seats and steering wheel, a paper mat on the floors and they wore gloves. I was impressed. And and my bill was 60% of what I paid at the Porsche dealer the last time I changed the oil. They have a new loyal client in me. I will be going back. read more
