I took my 2013 F150 to Marty's for transmission problems in 11/2024. The vehicle was diagnosed as needing a new transmission. I purchased a new transmission the work wasn't completed on time and a transmission was still bothering me because sometimes it would make a clunk sound I figured maybe it needed time to sink to the vehicle. The transmission still lol was giving me problems I went back to Marty's and was advised that the transmission was sounding and acting this way because one of the spark plugs was causing the problem. I had this problem fixed and for a little while all seemed good. The transmission started making a clunking. Fast forward I had to have a turbo line replaced so they removed the cab and found that there were 6 bolts missing from the transmission. I reported this to the shop along my with photos and the bill from Tire Kingdom and they took my information and a day later or so I was texted saying they were willing to give me a 100 dollars of any future service. I asked him if this would be enough if this was his vehicle and he said he wasn't looking for an argument so he send in a request 50 fifty dollars for the 6 bolts. I really felt insulted and told him to wouldn't accept 50 dollars how much would it cost to drop the transmission and replace the 6 bolts? read more

After leaving the shop, I noticed the AC was no longer working. Returned and they immediately discovered an issue when everything was put back together. I own a 2004 Ford Expedition (254,000 miles) and have been taking it to Marty's for over a year. Always on time, never overcharged or had unnecessary work recommended. Just had my wife's 2002 Mercedes CLK320 worked on at Marty's Longwood shop. Another European "specialist" shop overcharged and overworked the car and it came back with the same problems after a $1,000 bill. Marty's diagnosed the problem and had the Benz running like a top in no time for about $300. Mechanics are honest and the work is always the right fix for the problem. I called and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Nick and to my surprise he was very knowledgeable regarding mechanical related inquiries. So when I explained to him that my truck dash A/C wasn't functioning at all. He was able to provide me with list of potential reasons as to why that was the case and how much it would cost worst case scenario if it was a bad compressor. I scheduled an appointment, I arrived and departed from their shop within a couple hours - my system was simply low on Freon. Why am I recommending? Nick gave me a price in the event the worst case scenario was the case I wouldn't have been in for any unexpected and unreasonable charges. Most mechanic shops will NOT be upfront with you and they'll preach this I need to see your vehicle first before I can diagnose the issue and then when you ask for a estimate they either can't tell you try to charge you TWICE as much as what any reputable mechanic would. Also I'd like to give a special thanks to Chris the technician who even showed me firsthand what to look for regarding Freon leaks and I have to say, Marty's Auto Works is definitely a place you'll want to do business with simply because they are qualified, professional and upfront with integrity when it comes to getting an estimate for an issue and getting the problem fixed! read more

When you work long hours at "big brown" it is hard to drop off a car and get to work. They dropped me off at work! They have even come and picked me up to retrieve my car. I thought my car needed brake pads, but your team looked over the car and told me I still had 80% of the pads. You guys noticed my tires were low on air, you filled and rotated the tires and I was charged $20 for the check up.
