I have a driveshaft from an old Moto Guzzi with two u-joints(Cardan shaft). The u joints were shot. I was surprised they were able to get me two new joints. Shoulda known because they're driveshaft pros. Will be there again should I need any more service. read more

I would highly recommending not going there due to their warranty that really covers nothing I have purchased a brand new driveshaft and it snapped off miles later and it's not covered by warranty even when it was in writing I had to keep checking in on them through email and calling multiple times to check in on Warranty replacement then after sending pictures of my Stock truck no upgrades no lift no nothing finally a week later they said no to the warranty due to Having somehow too much power and I bought the best one they had for my truck wow I guess warranty and customers really don't matter read more

Great experience with this shop! I called a North County driveshaft shop someone else mentioned in their review and told him I had front and rear driveshafts I had just replaced all the u-joints, double cardan ball joint and new trans yoke on rear that needed to be balanced.  I proceeded to get lectured on how he usually gets $350-$400 to rebuild the dbl cardan shafts, etc and IF it had "been done properly with quality parts" he MIGHT be able to balance the shaft for $85...and more $$ if it was on the vehicle. The guy obviously wasn't even listening from the beginning as I JUST TOLD HIM I pulled the driveshafts and replaced everything!? I was completely blown away with the customer service from Angel and Rocky which was icing on the cake to a professional balance job. And the best part, even considering the gas money to drive from Carlsbad to Morena, I still was bucks up even after lunch in Old Town! Great job guys, thanks! read more

Excellent service, on time and on budget. Rebuilt the 1310 double cardan driveshafts on my Jeep in a couple of days, came out perfectly smooth despite less than perfect driveline angles. Took the time to repair a rock-damaged slip yoke seal because they felt $60 for a replacement was an insult. Overall, much better service than the other guy who spent 15 minutes lecturing me on how my 20 year old driveshafts needed to be completely replaced with newly fabricated parts. read more

December 2016: Not only did these guys save me on this project but they did it in less than a day and had to order me parts ! Super impressed with the work and I went to east county driveshaft and he said it couldn't be done and these guys did it beyond what I needed. I will be a customer for life. I brought in a two piece driveshaft to have the center support bearing pulled and replaced with a new one that I bought online. Service was great and I was able to put the driveshaft back in the truck the same day I dropped it off at the shop. I though it was something I could do myself and I gave up after I didn't have access to the right tools to do the job. The labor cost was not expensive and saved me a lot of trouble. Also we're in a pandemic at the moment and the staff wore masks at the front desk if that concerns you. read more

I honestly hate to leave negative reviews and I'm always willing to give an opportunity but unfortunately Driveshaft Pros is not a good company. We sent a drive shaft along with the yolk to have one made and they did not have the proper yoke so they gave us a short one and never compensated by extending the actual drive shaft itself when we sent it back to let them know it was too short they told us that was the only yolk they had and instead of fixing the problem they charged us an extra $75 to fix their mistake. Out of good faith I contacted them and explained the situation but unfortunately even after admitting that he could see my point he refused 2 refund us for the $75. Again it's not the money but they charged us $360 originally to make the drive shaft and then charged us another $75 to fix their mistake. As a business owner I have to keep my customers happy regardless especially if it's a mistake on our end drive shaft Pros unfortunately refuse to take responsibility and therefore I cannot honestly recommend them. read more

Initial impressions weren't great however after my first review, the owner of the company, Bryan, contacted me regarding my experience. He was very professional and I appreciated his reaching out. I went by later in the day on my lunch to drop off the driveshaft. Rocky explained what they would do and that he would call me the next day with an update. He did just that and let me know that it would be ready the following day for pick up. I feel what I paid was fair for the work performed (all 3 u joints replaced, the centering ball serviced and the whole shebang balanced and painted). Called, Angel answered phone. My Coast 1310 front double cardan DS started squeaking with 65k mi now on my '09 JKU Rubicon. Set appt to bring in for overhaul during wait. Brought it in and Angel suggested to only grease center ball; the 3, maintenance free Spicer u joints, still have plenty of life left. He could have suggested I rebuild for about $200 and I'd have done it. Very honest, nice guy, and I'll be back, tell others. Installed it last nite; squeak is gone. The guy is very attentive and friendly to customers' questions. I like these guys. Angel and Rocky were around when I brought my old Toyota in. They don't have a shop or a lift so you have to R & R your own driveshaft in their front parking lot which is level and off the street. There's a good NAPA store a block or so away in case you need a wrench or two. I laid my driveshaft with its worn universal joints on their counter and it was done in less than a half hour! They did 2 new joints and checked the balance and straightness for about a hundred bucks and I was on my way. My kind of shop with good people! read more
